I was looking at getting a rush order of business cards completed and called a couple of places promptly in the morning to have them done by the end of the business day. The manager at this location seemed helpful on the phone and told me they could get the cards done at a reasonable price no problem by the end of day. I sent them the files and they told me they would give me a call back so that I can swing by to see a sample. "Great", I thought this is how small business really should be, very helpful. However I didn't hear back from them until 2pm, and then I went in to see what was going on... they told me their computer had a virus and it was going to take them a while... also they didn't have any heavy stock for printing (guess they were out) and they couldn't align the card front and back right.... wow... your a print shop... you should definitely have a back-up computer (who gets computer viruses now-adays anyway?) and you should definitely have a stock of paper, and you should definitely know how to line things up perfectly to get your job done. Cards were printed... but completed off mark. And they didn't feel ashamed off their horrible print quality. Don't recommend them at all (especially if you speak to a Dave that works there). read more

I have worked with this Copy Central location for a number of years to complete a quarterly newsletter for a residential community. Derek and the staff always take good care of me, and communicate often. If I submit something that wasn't going to look right, they called and gave me a chance to correct or if I requested something that didn't sound quite right, they called to make sure. My deadlines were never missed and they were able to work within tight timelines when needed. In addition to a community newsletter, I began to use them for work too, and they never failed. The Vice President of my company even called out the quality of what I produced in a staff meeting once. Bill with Copy Central was the absolute best! The customer service, pricing and turnaround times cannot be beat. We had an issue where we needed business cards within a 24 hour time frame but did not have the original design file. Other vendors explained to us that we would have to settle with a subpar business card and that there was nothing they could do. Not Copy Central! Despite not having a file to work with, Bill helped us get exactly what we need and on time. I can't say enough good things about Copy Central Maritime. Our non-profit started working with these folks a few years ago when they were based at the Montgomery location. We've stuck with them through the move to Maritime and hope to continue working with them for a long, long time! Their customer service is a-ma-zing. Bill Crawford has saved us so many times! From a last-minute order of posters just hours before our annual fundraising dinner to a last-minute mass order of event programs right before a huge community celebration, Bill somehow puts up with our madness and delivers our order right on time (or even early) with a smile on his face. There was an instance when one of our event flyers needed a last-minute change before we could go to print. The problem was that our designer had traveled abroad and was unreachable by cell. Bill and his team saved the day again, doing an in-house InDesign fix for us and voila, we were able to print right on time. Ever leave something up to the last minute? A project for work, organizing a fundraiser, a story to write. I usually work best when under pressure. But when it comes to generating printed collateral (posters, signs, handouts), I always dread working with that national copy chain (that merged with a shipping company a few years back). You know the one, that purports to be handle things over the web, but when you go to pick them up they're not ready or the one whose staff gives you a vague answer about whether the project will be ready by the due date. It was one of those weeks where I had to put off everything until the last minute for an upcoming trade show. I needed two posters and a banner. I had worked with our designer for a few hours the night before and on the morning of the event, I called Copy Central at Maritime Plaza. I told them what I needed and the quick turn around I needed. The manager said "no problem." I even took longer than I thought emailing him the files. A few hours later, project was perfectly printed, packaged and ready to go. This is my first Yelp review. I've always wanted to compliment good businesses, staffed with good people with a review like this. And I never have the time. This shop is top-notch, really above and beyond customer service on several fronts. I had some engagement party invitations I wanted to print in a hurry and on a budget. I spoke to Montana on the phone who was super helpful explaining the process, pricing adn timing. (So much more helpful than the office max person I had spoken with the day before!) They printed the sample right away on a couple different paper types so I could take a look. I left my office on bike (without my lock!) to review the sample and had trouble finding the shop. I called to find out where they were and learned they were upstairs in an adjacent building to where I was. When I explained my annoying bike-with-no-bike-lock situation, they guy I spoke with said, "no prob, stay put" and quickly came down to meet me with the samples! That was super helpful, and greatly appreciated! When I went back to pick up the full order, I asked if I could stuff and stamp my envelopes right there at their desk since I was rushing to make the 6pm mail pick up. He said no prob and even insisted on helping me stuff and stamp them! I really really appreciated everyone's helpful nature and quick responses. Highly recommend this business. These guys always bend over backward to help. Really very smart people, get the jobs done right, and go out of their way to turn jobs around very quickly. Our business has a lot of print jobs every week, some very small, some huge ($8k+) and has been coming here for over 10 years and I don't think there's ever been a screw-up. Not sure who the Dave is that Jose doesn't like - the Dave I work with is totally competent and personable.
