Unfortunately, this is way overdue. We got our wedding invitations (1 out of 2) printed here. Let me start with the good things first: The lady boss here is very accommodating to our schedule. she waited for us and even delivered the orders in the bay are for us. That's above and beyond. Therefore, I'm not giving 1 star. An extra star for service. However, the problem is that service is one aspect but the QUALITY of printing and CARE of your products really is the triumphant factor for your business. Quality was very BAD. They helped us with pasting the envelope liners but they were SO LOOP-SIDED and imbalanced it was embarrassing to give it to our guests. On top of that, some of the envelope liners were coming off cos they didn't paste it well. Next, our envelopes weren't folded well. You could see creases on the envelopes. The overall quality could have been improved if I did it myself! For our 2nd part of our wedding, we got it done at a different print shop and you can tell how much of a difference it was when the quality and care of the job was done right. Pictures are a lot better at describing the sub-par work that they did for us. ON TOP OF THIS, we paid premium prices for this work. So yes, VERY DISAPPOINTED. Update: I'm updating this because we received the comments from Maryam. They have every right to defend their business. However, we should stand on what is accurate. We bought our own paper which was premium and thicker because we knew we could get them at a cheaper price than Copynet was trying to get us to pay. In this day and age, as customers we have the rights to do our own research to save costs without saving quality since we can literally get those premium papers at cost price without paying for store's cut of earnings! Also, our problem wasn't just their glueing but not even CENTERING the liners. First of all, that has nothing to do with the thickness. It is pure math and alignment. The creases on the envelope was YOUR envelope. So I'm surprise they even try to put that on us. Like FOLDING inaccuracies is OUR FAULT? Future customers, this is an insight to what they will say when they don't do a great job. Finally, posting a review 5 months has got nothing to do with your actual result? Your outcome HAPPENED! And, do not accept a rush job if you're not going to do a professional job and blame it on being rushed. And a discounted price was very much appreciated but now you're making it sound like you were doing us a favour and giving us a discounted quality on the product. I gave u kudos where you did a great job for accommodating us but don't use that as an excuse for bad quality work. read more

Everyone was professional and courteous. I sent them my design around lunch time and I had perfect results by 5:00pm. They also can print on your envelopes! I mean I talked to those fine folks at FedEx/Kinkos and they were all like, you know, sure you can bring it down here and it might take 2 hours and it might take 24. I can't say that the transaction w/Copy Net was the smoothest, but they had some great suggestions for me and it took just a few minutes and I was on my way and the people there were pleasant, not the mutant angst ridden unhappy human type blobs that inhabit FedEx Kinkos not that I'm blaming it on the workers but man that place must suck to work at. I needed to make a black and white photocopy (1 copy literally). As I was walking down the street to catch the MUNI, I noticed a copy store (score!). I went inside and made 1 copy. I proceeded to pay. The owner just told me don't worry about it. I insisted on getting change for my $20 bill, but they said no worries. She was so genuine and friendly. It totally made my day. Beyond that, they have great copies. My copy was smooth and good quality. It is faster than Kinkos! Go to City Copy and Print Center on Divis. for way better customer care and pricing. I brought a USB for a letter I had to print. I told the guy I only had to erase one line and he said ok...least they could do charging $0.50 per black and white page. Admittedly I decided I wanted to copy and paste three lines and make literally 6 character edits which took me a total of 3 mins from start to finish. They charged me the $3 min. This wasn't my first time here, I've always felt they were incredibly pricey- $1.50 to scan one page for an e-file? But I keep coming to help support small businesses. I get maybe your rent is high and that's why you have to nickel and dime people but c'mon...within reason please? Think about the long term opportunity cost. read more

I will never go here again, even if I'm desperate and standing right outside their door. I too feel like I got the "bait-n-switch". I needed a few approx.-half sheets of paper laminated. I asked up front how much laminations cost and she said $2 per sheet (approx, I don't remember exactly). I've laminated a lot of stuff and every shop like this that I've visited charges by the number of LAMINATION sheets that you use, not the number of little pieces of paper that you fit inside a lamination sheet. What a fool I was to assume. So I asked her to consolidate the papers into a single lamination sheet WHEN THEY WOULD FIT (she wouldn't let me arrange it myself). One sheet came back fine: it had two half pieces of paper in it with enough room to cut between them and have them both still laminated at the edges. For the second sheet she had overlapped the two pieces of paper. This means that when she cut between them they both have an open edge. The whole reason I had these laminated was because they needed to be waterproof - so much for that idea! She proceeded to insist that they were fine, but seeing as I didn't have any extra copies for her to correct I decided to just pay and leave. Then I get my next surprise. Even though it costs them exactly the same to put two pieces of paper inside a single lamination sheet, they charged me by the number of pieces of paper. Essentially I ended up paying almost double what I would have at any other shop - and they screwed it up! read more

This place is WAY overpriced for simple copies! I couldn't believe this man told me that color copies were $2 a page. The UPS store a few blocks away charges $0.98. I'd be happy to support a small business, especially with the convenience but the prices alone will keep me going elsewhere. I've used Copy Net for various little things like making copies, faxing things when my fax is down, using their computer to print boarding passes, among other things. They are always super friendly, helpful and their prices are alright. I've never had them do a large job for me, just a bunch of little things, so I can't really speak on that, but I don't think I would hesitate based on the service I've had so far. This place has great employees (Fiona and Daniel). The boss lady (or manager), who will remain unnamed, however, is just the opposite. I came in to pick up an order. On top of the actual services and finished product, she charged me the "opening an attachment" fee of $5.00, which I've never had to pay in the past. (I emailed my job request to Copy Net to come pick it up later that day.) She also said I was not able to pay with our account on file. She forgot we had one, and when I verified that we did, she informed me (quite loudly), that my office "does not spend enough money here." Rude...I say the manager needs to let her employees run the show there. They give great customer service and are the reasons why Copy Net has returning customers. read more

My whole experience here was a bait and switch. For the record, I don't think they're sketchy business people; they just don't have their sh*t together. Bait & switch #1: "We can have that ready for you today." Reality: it took over a week. Bait & switch #2: "Here's your finished sign." Reality: it wasn't even close to what I had asked for. In fact, they didn't even have some of the necessary pieces in stock, despite them saying they did. Bait & switch #3 (2nd time picking up signs, a week after promised delivery): "Your total is $x." Reality: cost was double what I was originally quoted even though the scope of what I had asked for didn't change. It's a shame that I had such a bad experience. I used Copy Net for my Wedding Invitation suite. I had decided that nothing I found online was quite what I wanted, and if something was what I wanted it was way too expensive for me. I decided to design my own invitation suite, and Copy Net made it so easy and stress free. I emailed them my designs first to get feedback and they were prompt in letting me know if I had to change anything. They gave me a quote and approved my designs all online. They even let me know that I only needed to purchase 8.5 X 11 sheets instead of the pre-cut sheets. Also, because I used Paper Source paper I got a 10% discount! I was able to get them proofed and printed all in one day. I ordered 5 different pieces that were all different sizes and they provided them all cleanly cut and shrink wrapped in one day! It was amazing to have it be that easy. I would definitely use them again for any of my printing needs. I'm thinking designing my own holiday cards and having them print them. Why yes, they sure do! Daniel provided top notch service from the moment we called in our query to the second we walked out the door. Not only did he talk through the process and provide us multiple copies of what we needed, but he lent his artistic eye free of charge, brightening and darkening the image for best quality. The staff here is really nice and helpful but if you just need to print a file or two, it can be pricey. $3 for 15 min or less of internet to access your files, plus 50 cents per side of a page for printing. If you needed time, the hour for computer is is $12 I think? But just to print a ten page file off Dropbox cost $8 and change. Once I had them scan an entire text book for me and that was a bargain when split btwn 45 people....so it really depends on the job. read more
