Please don't come to this ups store, the clerk Scarlett G was very rude and was talking to me like I stupid, I always order online and have my packages sent to this location and was never charge $20.00 to pick up my package, I ask her is this new, she started to get irritated and was telling me that the reason why I was charged is because I ordered it from Amazon, she kept repeating and started to laugh and me again, I told her it was from Macy's, this is my worst experience ever, let alone having problems with ups with my packages sending it to a different address, UPS YOU NEED TO DO BETTER WITH YOUR RUDE EMPLOYEES! Went there to get document notarized. The Assistant Roo, was polite, helpful, and courteous. She was patient, completed the copying, notarizing with no fuss. My neighborhood UPS - the staff are knowledgeable and efficient. I've gotten things notarized here, dropped off returns, sent packages, and printed documents. The other day I had arrived a few minutes before they opened and the young woman opened the store for me to drop off a return. I will warn you not to print there if you can help it as it's super expensive. I had to print one page once and it cost me $4, including a one-time fee. I had also printed out a document in color not realizing that increased the cost significantly (and I had only needed black and white). Parking is usually pretty easy as there are metered spots right in front that are usually available. read more

Brought two Happy Returns items to the 1288 Columbus UPS store Feb. 2024. Unhelpful customer service to the point that the customer service began to come across as openly hostile, and for no apparent reason. Will go to other locations instead. Worst customer experience I have ever faced. They lost a package of mine over 8 months ago and told me they would refund me since it is THEIR fault and they have been completely unresponsive. I have called over 10 times and no one answers. Sent numerous emails to the email they told me to contact and no one responds. Also visited the store in person to get an answer from the manager and everytime I visit he dismisses me and says "he is working on it" which he clearly isn't. Quick for drop offs and returns. I've never had a negative experience here and the people working working there are generally really nice. I don't expect the staff to make small talk with me, for me it's literally in and out and I go about my day. If they can get my package safely to it's destination then that's all I really care about. They even have option to drop off US mail which is quite handy! Who even sends via US mail anymore but at least the option there is nice. read more

The staff in this location are unbelievably unprofessional and very rude, but MOST IMPORTANTLY they charge you extra with random fees each time you go. because of covid you can't use the computer so they ask you to email your print, but not only they charge you for the print they charge you service fee, EVEN when their printer is off and takes them 20 minute to print 2 returned labels!!! They chargeg me 20 min service fee to print 2 page! They also charge you for amazon returns when it's free! I paid $5.00 for2 page or prints and they don't even have contactless payment options given there's a pandemic and no one wants to touch the POS machine! The manager is very rude and unprofessional and doesn't give you a solid reason for they rip off fees! DONT GO THERE! Go to another location! read more

Get your printing done elsewhere. I needed to print two pages off my USB and it was about 35 cents per page. That was fine until they told me I had to use their computer and couldn't just put my USB into the printer. Why the extra step? So they could charge me an additional $3.99 fee for use of their computer. Absurd. I'll find a FedEx if I need to print something in the future. There in three minutes (okay, made an illegal u-turn) and walk in. He has his notary book out and ready! Friendly, responsive, fast. I had a really bad experience at this UPS store and would not use them again or recommend them. I paid $40 to mail a package. They failed to send it, and did not update the tracking at all. They refused to refund me or try to mail it again. They said they would make a claim on my behalf and said it would take 3-4 days. When I called after 5 days they said it would take 2-3 weeks. I called again after 2 weeks and was told to call back and speak to the manager. I went in after 1 month and got fobbed off again by someone else. They never contacted me about the claim as they said they would and it's now been 6 weeks or so and I am forced to give up which is what they hoped I would do. read more

TOTAL RIP OFF! This privately-owned franchise store UPCHARGES on everything including INSURANCE at 4x the official base rate. If I had taken it to an official UPS location it would have cost me around $120 to ship and insure three suits in garment bags and three pairs of shoes instead of the $240 plus charge that I have disputed. read more

My husband and have been a customer (mailbox renters) for over 15 years at this store. We rent a mailbox so we can have packages delivered to the store which otherwise might be stolen off of our front porch. For the last six months we have been trying to get insurance money from the owner of this store for a package valued at $600 which was lost. We don't know if it was lost by the store or by UPS (dispatch or driver) before it got to the store but nevertheless we are entitled to insurance money. We are not happy that the package was lost and we cannot get any satisfaction from either UPS or the store owner in trying to locate it or to reimburse us for the loss Our main complaint for the purposes of this review is how we were treated by the owner of this store. He is uncommunicative, unhelpful and disrespectful of his customers. He does not answer emails, phone calls, or otherwise try to solve problems of missing packages. It has been over 6 months since we became aware that the package was missing and we still haven't seen any insurance money. The only person he responded to, but then didn't do what we were told he was asked to do, was a very kind agent in the UPS Store Customer Service Center in San Diego. Beware of having to deal with this irresponsible person who should not be allowed to operate a business in San Francisco. read more

First, this place has been great every time I've visited so don't let it dissuade you from using them. Second, I don't want to write a bad review for this place because the man who owns it is a really great helpful person. This is a review to hold his staff accountable when he's not there. Here is the 2-Star Reasoning: I went in today on 2 different occasions. The first time was to get 140 pages printed. Having already emailed myself the files all I needed to do was log onto their computer and print the documents as I've done many times before. I walked in said hello to Employee 1, asked if I could use the computer to print and sat down to do exactly that. After a minute of getting everything set up to print a 2nd employee came from the back and let me know that I couldn't print at the moment...employee 2 then looks at the employee 1 and asks why she didn't tell me not to use the computer after watching me log on and pay to print. Employee 1 really didn't care at all and told me to come back later/email them the docs with instructions. I asked her for the email address about 3 times before she answered me. I left annoyed but understanding that shit happens, so no big deal. I come back an hour later after emailing with instructions. I arrive and employee 1 lets me know that she didn't do my print job, other things came up. I let her know it's fine and I can come back later if she'd prefer. No acknowledgement of my offer. She confirms that I want 11 x 18 glossed...nowhere did I indicate anything like that. I reiterate I need 20 copies of each of the documents sent on regular paper. I should have asked for the quote because it came out to $220.00. I'll take ownership for that. I asked if they typically check price with people before a job which she replies, "if they care, they ask usually." Ok, my bad again I guess. The whole time she's been working with me it's been miserable up till the end. BTW this is not Fatima, who is great. Every body/business has bad days, I get that. However when I'm being polite and understanding of your business issues and still getting bad customer service you probably want to know about it. I'm happy to change my review for you as well, just thought you'd want to know that the standard you set while working is not the same when you're out. I've been to this store many times, BUT today...the staff there was not helpful, did not provide a time estimate, apologize for making me wait and had me wait over 15 minutes just to get a shipping confirmation for a UPS label and package I already paid for. I just needed a confirmation number. I took my box, and told them they need to learn how to do their job. The cashier on the left side wearing the light blue shirt with black frizzy hair spent 15-20 minutes to get a poor girls mailing address correct! She has no Idea what she was doing. Her side kick was of no help either. UPS Store or Regional Manager- please train the staff at this site!!! Or leave somebody on site that is more helpful. Worst worst worst ups store ever! Was a customer for a few yrs. always the same story, ask them to forward our mail and put us on a forwarding plan every month. The first month they would forward then nothing for months until we called and emailed multiple times, finally they would forward again. After months of not getting our mail I went into the city to pick it up and see what was going on. Turns out they had canceled our account months before and "said" they emailed asking to update payment. They had our credit card on file to use for payment, our physical address to forward, our phone numbers and our emails. We had no response and did not know this was happening. I was there first thing on a Saturday-- I had three large packages to ship and I needed help- I don't usually ship items- so it was really nice to have the manager (owner?) being so nice and assisting me. There were other patrons and he would help them in between my paperwork- but never at the expense of me or making me feel I wasn't still a priority. A nice balance I rarely see. I just relocated to this area of the city and I'm so pleased this location is both convenient and well-run. read more

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I visited today to send boxes across the country. Both employees (woman with brown hair to shoulder and gentleman with brown hair) I dealt with were incredibly helpful and quick! The gentleman (I think his name is Rojillo- forgive me if I'm wrong) couldn't have been more helpful and friendly while taking his time to make sure my boxes were secure and wouldn't rip in transit (I didn't do a great job packing them). The kids who work here are super nice and helpful. The store is tidy and clean. You can make copies, get something notarized, ship things, have a mailbox, buy office supplies, use a computer, and probably some other things I am forgetting. I'm giving a lot away here, but what the hell... The Investigator and I went in first thing this morning to have Angela notarize our Domestic Partner paperwork. She was efficient, alert, and best of all she congratulated us... Wha? OMG, so nice! She doesn't know us, she may not be queer, we would not have thought any less of her had she not said a word, but she did and that made my day. Additionally, this is the only mailing-type place for miles near my office and they have given me consistently good service over the years. I have to go here because all other places offering notary services are too far. I have been calling this place since last week and the manager, who also wears the hat as a notary, is always out or gone. Just this morning I called and he just stepped out. I was told he'd might be there in 15mins, so i timed my arrival to be 15mins later; NO, the manager was NOT there! i will go back later BUT i am not happy. later i intend to email UPS to let them know of this constant absence. either he is there, or not there. this is not the professional manner in which to run a business. okay, he's a manager BUT.... but I really feel sorry for the store employees who have to constantly tell clients the manager isn't in!! read more

I gave this store 5 stars because of Angela. I sent a very valuable package to my sister and was worried about the package sitting around, ... no problem ... Angela changed the pick up method. Then today I received a call from Angela to inform me that the package had been picked up. I was floored, she remembered, she cared. I visited this store on Friday July 30 at 11:30. Line almost out the door, only one associate working, who was very slow and had no idea on how to multi task. Waited 10 minutes to move up 2 positions. 4 customers who came in behind me saw the long line and just left. The customer who was in front of me told the associate he was a mailbox customer and just wanted to pick up his package which he said was delivered at 9:45. The associated pointed to a large pile of packages and told him she hadn't had the time to process them yet, he left very angry. Store was very cluttered and dirty, retail supply cabinet was almost empty. Will never visit this store again, I'm guessing the only way this store stays in business is due to it's location, can't imagine this store ever having repeat customers. read more
