After UC Berkeley shut down their most reliable embroidery shop, I was scrambling to find a place to get my grad stole embroidered. I'm so glad I found Graphic Affect! After calling in for a quote, I came in with two other graduating friends to get our stoles embroidered. We were immediately greeted by Edgar who helped us throughout the entire process. With each of us, he walked through how to get the best results with what we wanted written down on our stoles. He was so accommodating and helpful - we definitely could not have figured out all of this without his input. For what I had embroidered (7 lines of texts split between two sides of my stole), I paid $40 - which was so much more affordable than quotes I received elsewhere! Edgar told us he usually has a 2-week turnaround time but because we needed the stoles at the exact two week mark, he was able to accommodate. Picking up the stole was just as convenient and we are all so happy with the results! Edgar and the Graphic Affect team were definitely worth the commute from Berkeley to San Jose! read more

I went here to get my graduation stole embroidered. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They told me that they were busy but would get to my stole in time, which was a day before I needed it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I call them the day that I need my stole and they hadn't started on anything yet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They asked me when I needed my stole as if I didn't already tell them the week prior when we met.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My stole would not have gotten done on time if I didn't call them asking for the progress on my stole. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one reached out to me like how the boss told me he would.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The stole looks great but the fact that I gave them my money and promises were not made disappointed me. After my company went through a rebranding, the bigger online embroidery company could not match our logo colors. After a quick call and email exchange with Edgar, he was able to provide a swatch using the Pantone colors given. Upon approval, he got started right away and far exceeded the delivery time. So my wife asked me to get her a pink hoodie with 'California' on the front on my visit to the Bay Area. Oh, and she'd preferred to have it embroidered rather than printed. No problem - I checked the usual tourist spots. No luck. I realized I would have to get a hoodie custom embroidered so I bought one from Amazon and set out to find a custom embroiderer. Did I mention I needed it under a week ahead of my return trip to MA? I contacted several embroiderers I found on Yelp. No one would do a single hoodie, much less do it in the short timeframe I had. That is until I came across Graphic Affect. I dropped off the Amazon hoodie on Thursday and they promised to have it done by the following Wednesday. I dealt with Eileen and Edgar, both of whom are awesome! I asked if they could do the embroidery in script, maybe like the Coca Cola font. The result was terrific as you can see from the attached pic. I got an email on Tuesday that the job was done a day early. What an awesome company! Thank you Graphic Affect. I had to get a uniform shirt embroidered for the Rose Parade. I drove all the way from San Francisco. All the embroiders in the city, in town, down to San Leandro, Hayward, and San Mateo on Yelp with decent reviews couldn't help me. If they weren't open, then they had a message or sign on their door saying will be back open after Jan 6. The few that were open said I could drop it off and pick it up in a week. Hahaha In a week??? Please, I only have three days! So I finally drove to my last option on Yelp with great reviews, but I didn't want to drive all the way to San Jose, especially after driving around the Bay to numerous dry cleaners and tailors to get work done. They answered the phone and said they'll be there for a few hours, and said they'll help me out. I got there, I was detailed in what I wanted, and they delivered with excellence, and didn't disappoint, and didn't overcharge with any rush fee and thanked me for volunteering with the Red Cross. An exceptional company that was totally clutch in a mandatory embroidery of my last name for the Rose Parade after Xmas before New Year's Eve. I think it was on a Friday. Received it back in less than an hour of drop. Went to grab a bite to eat, and got a call that it was done Son! read more

I'll start with saying if I could give 6 stars on here I would! And take shouldn't be taken lightly because I am a perfectionist and can have OCD at time, and I am ALWAYS over the moon happy with my work with Graphic Affect. This business is 100% my go to for all my custom work, and should be yours to, here why... Working with Edgar and his team is always a great experience from beginning to end. I estimate to use their services probably 7 to 10 times a year and every time the work is flawless. I can count on them for creativity and professionalism. I can be pretty demanding with crazy ideas (sorry Edgar), but Edgar always delivers over my expectations. I've had so much work done here, but here's a short list of some: Screen print T-shirts, marketing material, large prints, event programs, pens, race metals, embroidery on hats/bags, large event seating charts, custom cut charger programs, and sooo much more! Honestly, my family in the central valley Merced and friends in San Diego even do all there work with GAB and ship it because they are that good! Their service is also very speedy they always give accurate estimates but they always over deliver. I would like to add that they know their stuff (they are truly experts) you know if you have an idea and it's not going to work on material the material you wanted, they will help you figure it our and be honest with you before hand. For example, if you're trying to get something embroidered on a specific type of sweater and maybe there's a zipper that is going to prevent it in the middle, they're will tell you and be really honest with you that's it not gonna work the way you want, tell you the reason why, but offer a solution or different idea that will work. They really know their stuff, and I trust their opinions every single time and have never been disappointed. read more

Under-promise, over-perform! Eileen and Edgar are wonderful representatives of Graphic Affect. Both were easy to work and communicate with on my embroidery job. I had an initial expectation of about two weeks (I can't remember from where) once I approved the artwork. My first job took three business days, and my second job took four days. Also, the initial setup charge, which included digitizing non-original artwork, was very inexpensive. I whole-heartedly recommend Graphic Affect! read more

So glad I found Edgar and Graphic Affect. I wanted some personalized embroidery additions to my husband's Giants camp shirt. Edgar not only accepted my small job, but also offered input on sizing, color and placement as well. After a short discussion, the plan was in place and the result was perfect. Seeing that Graphic Affect also designs, makes and applies vinyl decals for business vehicles, I then asked Edgar if he could apply some large vinyl decals to my car. I didn't feel qualified doing it myself. Once again, Edgar did a great job. He offered his ideas on placement, which I decided were better than mine. I love the result. Looks so good and I'll never mistake my silver Prius for wrong one. read more

Edgar and his team, what can I say: Professional, great work and wonderful people. Edgar made my wife and I feel extremely comfortable from the first moment we met. Because we were unsure how we wanted our garment embroidered (color, position and size), Edgar took the time to assist us. After we decided, he ran a sample on-the-spot, to see how it would look. I am sure he could not do this every time, but it was a nice touch! We decided to pivot all our business from two other shops to Edgar and team. He has already done t-shirts, jackets/vests and backpacks for me and my team. Edgar has put our design on items we purchased (vests and backpacks) and we have also bought units from him as well, t-shirts. There was no comparison in work product. This review is long long longgggg overdue! IM SO SORRY EDGAR! But here is your long awaited review that I promised! First off, let me tell you how grateful I am for Edgar. It was prime time for letters (christmas time), yet Edgar made everything possible for me without a glitch! I was stressing out to the max, due to my procrastination (a super bad habit which I should really fix..) AND my other source flaking on me, trying to find a place where I could order my two pbabies their 6 sets of letters. Keep in mind that I only had A FEW DAYS left until their installs.. I frantically searched far and wide, scrolling through pages and pages, calling at least 10 embroidery places to see if I could place an order.. no luck. BUT! Lo and behold, my last and only hope, Graphic Affects! I explained to Edgar my situation, concerns, and my dramatic stressed out story over the phone.. and he said to stop on by and he'd help me in anyway possible that he could. HALLELUJAH! Praise the almighty lord and his baby Jesus. I WAS SO RELIEVED! Once I got to his office, I showed him pictures and color ways of exactly how I wanted it. However, me being a girl and all, I was questioning myself on the color ways and asked for his opinion on everything as well. He helped WITHOUT any hesitation at all! My what a sweetheart. I wanted quiet a bit of customizations, such as a Switzerland flag on the left chest (he didn't have a template for it but he customized one for me anyways), which I thought was super awesome!! Keep in mind again... It was prime time and he was backed up on orders, like baaaacked up. And he did inform me on that but I continued to tell him how desperate I was for these letters because I wanted my kids to have it in their formals day. He reassured me that he'd do that best that he could and he would have it by 2 o'clock the day of, which was perfect (he actually finished my letters by 12 o'clock instead of 2!!! 2 HOURS EARLY!!!)! AND he didn't even charge me a rush fee!!! ON TOP OF THAT, he even validated my 10% off yelp.. Sorry Edgar! Money was a struggle when I had to buy my kids so many things! But super glad that you were very accommodating and sweet throughout our whole transaction. All in all, Edgar is a very delightful, responsible, and meticulous person who will not only get the job done, but excel in his work. I have never been more satisfied with my sets of letters that I've ordered than I was with Edgar's in regards to pricing, material, and service. GET YOUR EMBROIDERY DONE WITH EDGAR!!! It'll be one of the best decisions you've made yet. Thank you again for all that you did for me! A big thank you to the people at Graphic Affect Branding (GAB). Our group, the Club 49 Tailgating Crew, was looking to have a new logo designed and T shirts as well. GAB was able to work with us as we brainstormed ideas on a new logo. It had been many years since we last updated our logo or had any shirts made. We sent some photos and some ideas and they came back with two versions of a logo. Both were really good. We decided to have shirts made and also some pullover sweaters made as well. The embroidery came out great. The pullovers make us look like an Olympic team walking into the stadium. We are already looking to have more stuff made at GAB, as the options are endless. Graphic Affect branding never disappoints! I needed my graduation stoles embroidered and they were so responsive and kind! Even though they were super busy and had many other graduation orders, they still kept up their quality and customer service! It is pricier than other embroidery places but it's worth it knowing they won't botch it like other places. When it came time to order graduation stoles, I knew exactly who to go to. I needed 12 graduation stoles embroidered, each with different wording. Although his shop is small and tucked away off the side of the road, don't let that fool you. Cam is incredibly genuine, detail-oriented, and takes pride in his work. He asked plenty of questions to make sure he fully understood what I wanted and even created a quick mock-up when I dropped off the stoles so we could visualize the final product. During the embroidery process, he also called to confirm the wording and placement one last time to ensure everything came out exactly as I envisioned. His turnaround time was quick, and he called as soon as everything was ready for pickup. I would recommend bringing your stoles to him as early as possible during graduation season since he has many orders to complete. I paid half upfront when dropping off the stoles and the remaining balance when I picked them up. The embroidery only costed me between $12-20 per stole depending on what was embroidered. The embroidery itself was excellent. The stitching was clean, professional, and didn't warp or distort the fabric at all. Even the backing was trimmed neatly, so it wasn't uncomfortable to wear. Overall, I highly recommend Cam's embroidery services, especially for graduation stoles. He's located just a couple of miles from the SJSU campus, making him a convenient option for students looking for high-quality custom stoles at about a fraction of the price of what the university charges.

The other person was so flaky and unprofessional, I called him twice and he never called me back. I was so frustrated and decided to look at another choice. I found SilkScreen on Yelp and contacted Tony about my project. I will admit that I was slightly skeptical about all the rave reviews, was it too good to be true? No, no it wasn't, Tony really is that GOOD! I called and explained my situation. I had a finished graphic, I needed 35 shirts and I needed them as soon as possible. He was so polite and so professional. Tony asked me to email him the graphic and we could look at it right then. I emailed him, he looked at it and he told me that he would get on it right away! He suggested different color shirts, within the range that I gave him , and showed me a proof. It was perfect! Within a week I had my shirts delivered by Tony and they were exactly how I envisioned them. He included care instructions and I learned a little more about the screen printing process.
