A big thank you to the people at Graphic Affect Branding (GAB). Our group, the Club 49 Tailgating Crew, was looking to have a new logo designed and T shirts as well. GAB was able to work with us as we brainstormed ideas on a new logo. It had been many years since we last updated our logo or had any shirts made. We sent some photos and some ideas and they came back with two versions of a logo. Both were really good. We decided to have shirts made and also some pullover sweaters made as well. I called Graphic Affect Branding requesting embroidery for a baby blanket. I spoke with Edgar and he stated they would be able to help me with this one off order. I dropped off my blanket and was able to choose the color of the font and communicated via text to choose font style (since their computer was down when I was there). When I picked up the blanket, I realized I made a mistake in communicating a small number detail and they quickly redid that number embroidery with no questions asked. I lack much creativity when it comes to designing jackets but luckily the guys here knew exactly what to do to execute an amazing vision. Edgar was amazing and patient. I needed 2 EMT hip packs embroidered with my and my friends name on each them. I went to the shop, played around with colors and deciding how to go about things and then I had to wait until I got paid. I'm sure Edgar thought he lost a customer. I followed through with the packs. I was quoted a 2 week turnaround time which sucked but I understood that it was in the queue to be done and the timing depended on what was ahead of my project. I was amazed when I got a call and text message saying my packs were done a week early. One of the packs was a tricky one to embroider on and so I knew it could be a problem. Despite the fact that this wasn't a huge order, Al and his team could not have been more accommodating and helpful. I wish I could give five starts but not this time... I placed an order to get visors embroidered, and by the time I was suppose to pick them up, they said they haven't even started yet... I understand that they had other projects going on but I really wish they could respect the due date that we planned out. Also, before I went in to place my order, I called them to ask about pricing. Edgar said he would charge me $10 for embroidering each visor (I got 6 visors embroidered), but when I came in to place my order, he charged an extra $50 on the whole order because of digitizing. I don't know a lot about embroidering and printing shirts and whatnot, but does digitizing really cost that much? I was pretty upset because he never told me anything about an extra $50 for digitizing. Good thing I had enough money that day to pay for that extra $50, since they want you to pay the day you place the order. Besides all of these conflicts, the visors turned out really nice, I'm very impressed! Edgar apologized to me for not being able to get them done in time, I really respect that.
