Faced with a time crunch, I looked on Yelp and luckily came across the many good reviews for Ryan at CC&R in the Outer Sunset. In addition to building custom computers, Ryan also does hardware repairs and fixes programming issues. Ryan was able to quickly accept my laptop at 8pm, and spent the night and the next day diagnosing and fixing the problem. His hours are flexible and he doesn't drag out his work over several days. I was very impressed at the speed with which he was able to work on things, and the completeness of his work. In addition to fixing a software bug issue, he did a diagnosis of the health of my drives, my virus software, and recommended a switch to a free program, which he did for me. The cost of his help, considering the level of attention and speed, was quite fair. It should be noted that Ryan is a local college student. I'm quite happy to be helping someone who is working his way through school. I appreciated his help so much that I created a Yelp account just to leave a good review. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

She asked specific questions to help focus the work and make it more accessible to my target market. I provided her with some of my self-created rack cards and postcards as a starting point, and she was able to keep what was good (colors, text, logo) and completely re-vamp and improve the rest so that it included amazing infographics, pictures, and drawings. I never would have been able to design something like that on my own, yet I still see my personality shining through in what she created! The process seemed fairly simple, I think partially because she was really clear about what she needed from me, and what she was going to create herself.
