Last year, I decided to create a website for my jewelry business. It was a long time coming, but something that had to be done. After a long search online I came across Cider and spoke with their representative. The process was quite smooth, many relevant questions were asked and after a short while a bid was presented to me. The proposal included not only website design and development but also included a recommendations to integrate a CRM system into the mix. This is something I didn't think about, but was a great proposition as managing the incoming customers and automating communication with them was something I wanted to do for a long time. For the task we choose Salesforce.com and Cider helped me in sourcing the relevant licenses for my employees. We integrated the system with my Quickbooks and setup all the necessary communication mechanisms to ensure I am able to stay in touch with my clients. The overall project took about 4 months which included developing the WordPress site and integrating Salesforce into the mix. I reached out to Cider after doing a search on Yelp for a mobile app dev shop. After reaching out to a few companies, I settled on Cider. Liked their approach and an option of a Discovery phase for my idea. They didn't try to sell me on diving straight into development of the idea, but instead offered a 3 week long prototyping phase. I spent a couple days per week discussing the product with their designer and at the end got a packet with a clickable prototype and other documents outlining the product. Even though Ilya told me this was a little out of what they did, he would give it a stab. Their team was on the project quickly from start to finish and had the whole thing done in just a few days. I already had the design and they were just going to implement it but they went way past what we had submitted. This is a 2 cd project and I have my hands full with my upcoming show and everything that goes with it. This was something I didn't even have to think about, which was a huge relief.
