All I had was a photograph of a bathroom cabinet from a magazine that I wanted in my house. These folks looked at it, scanned it, assigned measurements to it, mocked it up in their CNC software, came out and remeasured my bathroom because they justifiably didn't trust my monkey ass to do it right, and made me a super dope modern maple bathroom mirror and cabinet with LEDs behind it. A few weeks ago I was making a new threshold for my front door which needed to be 3 inches wide to fit properly but could only find 4 inch wide boards. I didn't have a table saw to correct the width so I googled "hayward woodworking" and found "Neal's CNC"which wasn't far from my home. When I got to the shop I saw a fellow standing outside and asked if he worked there to which he replied "yes I do I'm the owner" and introduced himself as Gerald. I showed him the piece of wood I had bought from Home Depot and explained what I was trying to do and asked if he could help me to which he smiled and said "sure". Within 15 minutes I was on my way back home ready to install my new 3 inch wide and beveled threshold. Thanks to Gerald and his shop "Neal's CNC" my project is now complete. This shop is great...super friendly and helpful...a pleasure to work with them and above all the craftsmanship, the quality work is superb. I was able to just describe the type of cut out I wanted and they were able to help through the process of the computer design (as I am somewhat clueless on how to do that) and it was exactly what I wanted. They took time and a lot of consideration to make sure the design was correct and then further helped me pick out the appropriate materials - they can cut almost anything and up to super large size materials so the options were plentiful. But they talked with me about what the project was ultimately going to be (a large scale art installation) and considering how I was going to use the materials, how it was going to be installed, etc they had great suggestions and helped me determine what would be the best material to use and what would be cost-effective for my needs. The final result was precise and exactly what I was wanting and with a pretty fast turn-around time. Super friendly customer service, really professional work, precise and great product. I absolutely will be going there again and with all they can do the possibilities are pretty endless for what can be produced. Absolutely highly recommended!!! read more
