Had a support arm break off on an aluminum boat tower. First took it to the boat dealer but they weren't equipped to repair it. Next tried to JB Weld it myself but it didn't hold. Finally decided I needed to find a specialist, called multiple highly rated mobile welders and left messages but they never called me back. Mark answered on my first call in the morning, made time for me to bring the boat by in the afternoon, and Shane was able to complete the repair in less than an hour. Mark did a great job for us refurbishing and reshaping two large metal fireplace chase covers on a large residential roof. He galvanized several areas of heavy rust and then applied several coats of protective surfacing to help resist harsh, but expected weather. He also welded an arched lattice area on the underside providing rain to run off the surface, our largest concern in the project. Over all, it was a great job with very quick, necessary follow up when we requested it. I would recommend Duran Fabrication to those who need smaller work done like ours. When I encounter an exceptional business, I want to tell others. Duran Fabrication is an example. I had a very, very small job - cutting a 3" x 5" electronics heat sink into two pieces: one 3" x 3" and the other 3" x 2". This is something most businesses would dismiss as unworthy of their attention or charge an exorbitant fee to perform. I called Duran Fabrication and spoke to the owner. He said, sure - drop it by the office and I will have it done the next day. No charge, just write a Yelp review about your experience. When I came to the office, he looked at the piece and said, "I should be able to cut that with some tools I have in the garage." And, he did. So, not only did he cut the piece for free, he also did it while I was waiting. Now I am not suggesting Duran Fabrication will do things for free - after all it is a business and they have to make money to remain in business. However, firms that concentrate on helping their customers solve problems are worthy of praise, and Duran Fabrication is in that category. read more

I don't generally write reviews, but Mark really helped us out and was great to work with. We were selling our house which was missing an electrical subpanel cover for a 70s subpanel. After talking to many electrical supply and salvage places we were left with the options of buying a whole new subpanel and going through a lengthy, expensive permitting and installation process, . . ., or fabricating a new cover. The first fab places I called had secretaries and project managers and didn't want anything to do with it unless I wanted a thousand of them. I found Mark, he answered the phone himself, he was happy to do it quickly and for a reasonable price, we arranged everything in a couple of minutes and a couple of days later we had our subpanel cover.
