Excellent and friendly, efficient service. Good staff-client interactions. Owner very friendly.

I have a mailbox there. Great service. Text or email notifies me when a package has arrived. Convenient so I've no need to be at home, or risk 'porch pirates' stealing package deliveries. Nice people working there. Good to chat with when I'm there to pick up mail. read more

We've had a mailbox here for 6 months and just renewed for another year. You Send Me is a really fantastic small business for our community! They accept all kinds of packages from all mailers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) - an incredible boon if you're like me and are enrolled in one too many wine clubs! Finally adult signature is not an issue. All of the employees we've worked with have gone above and beyond too. Once we stopped in right after closing to see if a package was small enough to be in our mailbox. It wasn't and as I was whining that we'd have to come back for our package, one of the staff in the back said he'd grab it for us and brought it outside. He didn't need to do that, and we would have come back the next day! But it meant a lot to both of us that he heard us chatting and wanted to help us out, even as he was closing up. We also recently had to get a bunch of things notarized and once again You Send Me had us covered. We were able to get all four of our documents notarized at once quickly and efficiently, while making some pleasant conversation with the staff. Everyone who works there is such a gem. I'm glad we have this in our little north Berkeley enclave. read more

Over the past six months or so, I've been impressed by You Send Me's personañl, friendly and knowledgeable service. Most recently I needed to send a time-sensitive legal document to Spain via UPS. When UPS somehow routed the delivery to France (!) instead, You Send Me arranged for me to get a full refund promptly and smoothly. While I'm actually a fan of the US Post Office for routine mailings, You Send Me is now my go-to place for anything out of the ordinary. read more

This place rules. When Mailboxes Etc got bought by UPS and Kinkos got bought by Fedex, suddenly it seemed like all the places where you can get help shipping things were tied to a shipping vendor. It's a breath of fresh air to find this tiny independent mailboxes place. They're not owned by a big corporation, so they can ship via any carrier and the staff there are super helpful and nice. It's great to be able to just show up with some stuff that needs to get somewhere and have their help getting it there. They solve the problem. read more

I have enjoyed using the services at you send me for many years. It is very convenient and I like supporting an independent business. I did have an experience recently, which I would like to forewarn people about. I had to send some important documents internationally. I was advised to send them either DHL or FedEx. I looked to see if you send me provides those services and indeed they did. So I went there. I was absolutely floored when I learned that to mail The documents would be over $500. It was hard to believe, but I just assumed this was these were the facts and so I proceeded and forked out the money. I was so preoccupied with my shock over the cost, that I later went onto the DHL website and realized that if I had ordered a pick up, or created my own label at home, the cost would've been under $200. I wish they had told me this. I could've created the label at home and just dropped it off there. I called today and they did agree to give me some discount coupons, but these will not make up for the $300 difference. I will continue to use the services there, but will never make that mistake again, and just wanted to warn people to be careful. I am amending my review. After speaking with the manager and his delving into researching the situation, he credited me close to $200. What he learned was that if you send in your own envelope and put DHL label on it It is unbelievably cheaper than if you use one of their envelopes. I am very appreciative of his giving me a partial refund and still providing me with the coupons. This is good customer service and I believe they now know that this is an important issue to consider. read more

Very hospital. Have multi services, mail, ups, FedEx pickup s plus notary public. Good hours and very convenient in north Berkeley

Courteous, friendly and my go to place for shipping. They have Notary at least 5 days a week, and a very dog friendly store! Always give treats to the pups! read more

Teresa was friendly and I got a very good value for my money when I needed an advance care directive notarized Saturday! They've got alot of supplies and machines in a relatively small room, but it's quite safe and not cramped much. Unless they held a sumo wrestlers' meet-up there, but I'm not expecting that! Definitely a GOOD place to ship stuff and get notary services, etc.! read more

These cheerful folks go beyond good service. I must fetch mail for an elderly friend in some arrears, and they're cool with it .. Convenient for the area, a stop along the way to local shopping .. read more

I called for a Mobile Notary Teresa came to my home on time so fast so efficient they are the best. I'm in a wheel chair so it's hard to get around I've called her twice already she is so sweet and patient as my wife is not mobile either. I highly recommend her for Mobile Notary!!! read more

Always friendly and efficient. It's small, so sometimes you have to wait outside, but the atmosphere is neighborly.

This is my absolute go-to for anything difficult, or precious to send. They are extremely creative in making protective packaging as well as sorting out impossible return items. We have happily used them for decades. Their service is also efficient and friendly. Cheers! read more

My solid go-to for shipping, packing material, stamps, notary service... All the things. Everyone is so nice. "Friendly" is not the right word. These folks are in the capital-S Service business. Every time I go in, I feel like I have been treated well. It's like a spa for the soul. read more

I have been a customer since they opened decades ago. The previous owner was excellent but the current team is just as good. Gets lots of customers but the owner and staff are never flustered, always pleasant, helpful and kind. Go out of their way to be helpful. Reasonaby priced. Very knowledgeable and patient especially with seniors who are not as tech savvy. So lucky to have them in the neighborhood. Beverly Cheney read more

I'd do 0 if possible. When I brought a large item to be shipped, of course I wanted not to pay the highest price. So the novice clerk sent it parcel select without mentioning that it would take 4-5 weeks!! So now this package is in postage limbo and the person who gave me $1575 for it is angry and I'm fuming. If he had told me what the shipping time was I'd have willingly have paid more. Never will use them again. read more

These people are the kindest and quickest! They have a such a sweet and coherent, welcoming energy that is utterly bizarre to find in the world of "packaging, shipping, notary and mailbox rental services." I try to do everything I need to there. They also have a much-deserved tip jar! read more

My favorite place for Notary they also do Mobile Notary. The lady there Teresa speaks Spanish very helpful and efficient, love this place!!

I write this as I stand in line to pickup mail from our mailbox - 24 minutes and I'm not even close to the front of the line. If you want to spend half an hour every time you just check the mail, this is the place for you. I have no idea why this place is popular. The owner is crabby (probably from dealing with people like me all day, who have been standing in line for an interminable amount of time). The post office makes this place look bad. read more

This place is a gem! Paras and Valentina were so helpful with sending a relatively large package, and made the whole process streamlined and easy for me. I'll be bringing all my packages here in the future! Thank You and I'll be back whenever I need to ship anything! read more

Always friendly and super helpful--and a much better experience than waiting in line at the post office. A great local business we've used for years without any complaints. read more

I'm so glad I found this place! I really appreciate Connie and the team. Since my office in LA closed I'm doing a lot more shipping of stuff there and back and I always feel like Connie is going to help me get it in the right sized box, she does a great job with the packing, and she steers me right when choosing which service to use and when it's going to get there. I've seen the young people on her team do some pretty hilarious things to help customers, from running up the street to another UPS dropoff spot, to jumping over a railing to get back to work at the end of a break. It's a nice neighborhood spot and I'm grateful to have it. read more

Superb notary experience. Was directed to the back where I was helped at once. Through and quick. In and out in no time at all. Extremely reasonably priced. Woman who rung me up was great. Nice staff all around. I saw lots of customers being helped with various questions. I'd never been here before and wow was I impressed. This is a top business. read more

You Send Me is the absolute best place to ship anything anywhere! They can package about anything you can imagine no matter how awkward. They are extremely knowledgeable about how and with what carrier it's best to ship whatever it is you're shipping. I am always totally confident in their recommendations and have never had any issues whatsoever. My mother wouldn't go anywhere else and when I'm in Berkeley neither will I. If you want to support a local business you'll be glad you did at You Send Me. On top of it all they are so pleasant and willing to take the time to explain and do whatever may be required with a wonderful attitude no matter how busy they are at the time. I highly recommend them! read more

Outstanding service, super convenient, and just the nicest, most helpful people who work here.

My elderly aunt had the most awful experience at this place. It was during the shelter in place, and she worked through her fear, put on a mask and gloves, and went and stood outside the store, waiting her turn. There was, however, a blazing sun, and she was very uncomfortable. (She is 82) She politely inquired how much longer they thought it would be (a single customer was being helped, slowly for at least 15 minutes). The young man behind the counter snapped at her, saying "It is going to be a long time, so you are going to have to have to wait and have patience." His tone was so rude she told me it literally took her breath away. So, she left, went home, got online at usps.com and sent her package via Priority International. It was half the cost of DHL, and took all of 6 minutes to print out a label, and no rude people to deal with. She will never go back there. Try online, avoid these people!!!!!!!!!! read more

I've been using this local business for ages and have always received excellent service. unfortunately, I tried to use their notary service today and was told they no longer have a notary at this location. They very nicely directed me to their "sister" location someplace in downtown Berkeley (which I avoid like the plague because parking is impossible). I am disappointed . Please update your website and Yelp posting to remove notary service at this location. read more

The pricing is a bit erratic and sometimes high. However, the people are honest, trustworthy, friendly, and helpful. During the pandemic they have stayed open. This is a great little spot in the neighborhood for shipping, and minor office-type needs like printing. With Peet's across the street, who needs to pay for a co-work space? read more

I've used You Send Me for years. Working with Connie was great. She understood customer service. Well, Connie retired and when a package came up missing what I got was, oh, are you sure? And, Amazon sometimes delivers our packages next door. Just why did you sign for it and then not take responsibility for that? I'm so disappointed and would not recommend this place anymore. Speaking with the new crew reminds me of a little kid covered with cookie crumbs blaming someone else for the missing cookies. Giving excuses for a job poorly done seems like a way to lose customers. read more

The new people at this beloved place, now under new management, are great! The service is still wonderful. I bring everything I need to mail here, and they pack it for me and mail it. When I need a new roll of stamps, they have them. They have gotten me through many a Christmas, moves, notaries - you name it. Their cheerful great service makes these chores pleasant. read more
