I only write reviews when the service is truly excellent, and I cannot say enough good things about the UPS Store at 5627 Telegraph Avenue, under Highway 24. I arrived with a heavy load that I could not carry into the store. A staff member came outside with a hand cart and helped me bring everything in. They also helped me print my shipping labels and tape them onto the boxes without charging me the extra $5 for printing and $1 for tape that so many other stores charge. The staff is friendly, helpful, efficient, and genuinely takes care of business. They also have better hours than many other UPS locations. I will gladly pass other UPS stores to come here because of the way I am treated. Thank you to the entire staff for providing such outstanding service! read more

Extremely kind people and great service. I went there because my daughter needed passport pictures quickly. In and out in less than 10 minutes. She is really shy, but they were so nice to her and after we left, she said, "Those people were really nice, weren't they?" While I was there, a man came in to drop off a package, but it was supposed to be dropped off at USPS instead. I hate UPS with a passion but this is the BEST UPS store around or maybe ever! People running this store are so friendly and they actually care and like their job! They are open on Sundays when all other shipping services/stores are closed (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.). I've been here many times on Sundays to drop off packages. They were always reliable and pleasant. Recently I came here to take my passport photos when both the post office and Walgreens failed me. And this particular UPS store was there to rescue and took great passport photos in minutes without having me jump through hoops or going through passive pain and aggravation. If all UPS stores could be like this particular store, then they'd be much less hated by customers like myself with a passion. If all shipping services could be like this particular store, then this world would be a much better place with more happy shippers and recipients. read more

Impressed by the kindness of the employees, their efficiency, and the entire operation of this UPS. Polite and quick service. They have some limited supplies here, but not many. Really useful that there is a notary here - make sure to call for his hours as he's not there 24/7. He does seem to be on site fairly regularly (daily?), which is helpful. Super clean during C19, spraying surfaces, glass shields, masks, the whole nine. Hopefully all the precautions will be unnecessary very, very, very soon... I needed to return a package I ordered via Amazon and it was due on a Sunday. (I really did cut it close, that's on me...) The El Cerrito location was much closer to home but I ended up here because that place couldn't handle that simple transaction I needed done. It was annoying that Hubbers and I had to make this extra drive, but we didn't really have a choice. I was lucky to get one of two parking spots, but fear not! Street parking is also available. I was greeted immediately soon as I walked in. Told her my issue. "Sure, no problem..." Scanned my QR code and was outta there in less than a minute. (Not exaggerating.) It took me longer to park the car! I believe the receptionist/cashier's name was Monica and she was friendly and lively - the complete opposite treatment I got from the El Cerrito location. So glad they have locations open on Sundays. Will definitely keep this spot in mind should the need come up again. read more
