I love the area all my mail gets sent there reasonably price $2 a mail and I received all my packages without my packages being stolen

fast and friendly notary service. Charges $15 per page. Also can help with copying and converting documents to PDF. Nice to check that I received the PDF in my email before letting me go. read more

Having a package shipped to you and porch pirates are one of the plagues that you have dealt with in the past. Well, these fine folks are the answer and the best solution. Having a $40k package sent to a secure store with kind and knowledgeable staff will set your mind at ease. Highly recommend. read more

This is my neighborhood everything: notary, receiving PO Box and parcel service, and sending prepaid shipments via all carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx). I'm absolutely willing to wait here, because compared to Piedmont Systems, the official post office a few blocks down is a circus. I've even bought a few cute masks and greeting cards from local artists that Ann has displayed on the counter. Not only do I feel better supporting a local business, but I've felt more safe here during the pandemic despite the small space thanks to the responsible mask use here and the limits on customers waiting inside and outside. Thank you, Piedmont Systems! read more

Came here on the recommendation of a long-time customer. Very friendly and went the extra mile to complete multiple projects. Quick service and fair price. In a nice area. read more

This will be my go-to notary from now on. I did only have one page....so not a big deal, but still... I called ahead and the notary (Ann?) let me know she'd be there until 5pm. I got there at 11am, parked right in front, and went right in (no other customers were there at the time). The whole transaction took maybe 8 minutes, start to finish...and mostly because I had to initial a bunch of pages after she did the notarization. The bonus is that it needed to go out fedex so I just handed her the sealed envelope and boom! Truly convenient (and all covid compliant with sanitizer and masks and rules of only 2 people inside etc). read more

From copies to faxes to package receipt and sending, I'm grateful for Piedmont Systems offering a wide variety of office support services. Thank you Ann, Diana, and the whole team! read more

I have supported this local business for many years now. Great stop to make copies, mail service, quick office supplies, notary, etc. I also receive mail here. Prices are fair, convenient location and friendly service. Highly recommend. read more

Came in to get something notarized. Super friendly and quick transaction, and only $10 a pop (compared to $15 each I paid a couple weeks earlier.) Highly recommend! Support local business! read more

Had to drop something off hours and they accommodated. Much appreciated. Not promising they can do this for everyone but little things like that are great. read more

Hours have become too limited. I used to really like doing business here but haven't been able to for a while because they are always closed. If you have a M-F job, don't even bother trying. read more

Great friendly service. Good value to send packages for safe delivery & pick up at a low cost. Also a convenient location.

Great packers. Awesome customer service. Good packing tape to sell if you need some and are working with your packages at the USPS next door. read more

No nonsense, no BS. Skip the big boys and support this small, local shop. Get your business done quick, get out and be surprised when you see how cheap. Also a great place to have your packages mailed to thwart the porch pirates. They will even call you when they arrive. read more

Ann is very nice and easy to work with. We needed a last minute notary and she was very accommodating and professional. I would recommend her to anyone. read more

Great friendly and fast service! Parking is easy but its metered. The woman at the front was patient and super helpful to get me the printing/scanning services I needed. I will be back! read more

Awesome mom & pop mailing/copying/faxing facility! Friendly, down to earth folks working there who give great advice on how to keep things as inexpensive as possible. Best reached on foot or a bike as parking is pay/display street and not great, but totally worth it to deal with that detail- it's really the best option by a long shot! The post office is horrid, ups is expensive, Kinkos blows, etc etc. Look, no one lives a mailing/copying/faxing chore, but you feel like someone's really on your side here! They help you instead of swindle you! read more

A wonderful small business. They do all sorts of business services. I went for the notary and stayed for the copying. Folks were friendly and efficient. Be prepared for a couple of things: parking is hard, and the space is tight. When a lot of folks are there, it is a squeeze. Prices are more than fair. Certainly patronize them, especially over the "carrier" stores. read more

Nasty, nasty women, both! I was patiently waiting outside as requested. A man walked up & inquired about the wait time. Just then someone inside said they were telling me something. I stepped inside & they told me to wait which I said I was doing. The one with long, grey hair was rather brisk & nasty as she raised her voice at me. When I asked her why she was yelling, the other one got into the act. It was so bad the gentleman behind me said he was surprised by their outbursts, & he apologized to me about their behavior. I did not, nor will I ever, patronize this business. Who are they to treat to patient, calm customers that why?! Take your business up the street to the always nice people at the copy center. read more

Love these friendly people in this neighborhood shop. Super helpful and friendly folks. I had no wait and walked out minutes later with no problems and a smile on my face. In the world of e-commerce and needing to return things, it's great to have a partner in it all. read more

The lady who usually works here never smiles at me when I come in...and was pretty rude today. I walked in first and she had me scoot over to give a lady her packages. I honestly do not know how this place as 5 stars. She might not like people of color. Having a scowl when a customer walks in is not a good business practice. read more

I love this neighborhood shop. I'm always surprised by how frequently I need to do some physical mailing/faxing/notarizing, etc., and when I do I'm always so glad that this place is around the corner. They are efficient and friendly, with very reasonable prices and good service. read more

Never will I ever go to UPS to get my forms notarized. The lady behind the counter is pleasant and efficient. The cost is $10 and it's quick. I will return for future notarizing. read more

It's always amazing to me when someone can so gracioulsly smile while charging me just fifteen cents for a transaction. You certainly can't make payroll on two printed pages, but you certainly can make a friend in doing so. Great shop, friendly service, good member of the community. read more

Stopped in again recently for another notary signature. Still available, professional and affordable. Thank you for continuing to be a great local business! read more

Good service, I went hear for a notary and it was a good experience. Happy to support local business.

I use this place for copying / shipping needs and have for almost 6 years. Ann is a great help and the other staff is also great. I feel that it is a place that is easy to make it "your place." Almost any time you may need help, I find that Piedmont Systems is able to provide suggestions or ease the process. Overall, Piedmont Systems is a wonderful locally owned business that, unlike my experience at other copy shops, is never stressful. Even during peak hours, it's often not too long of a wait and they have a LOT of boxes, tubes, paper, etc in stock. PS! PO Boxes are also priced at a very affordable rate. read more

Easy and fast printing and scanning services! No muss no fuss and cheap too. Kinkos, Office Max, and any other chain retailer can suck it. This place is fast and easy. Very DIY. Get in and get out. Best you can ask for. read more

Since I moved into the neighborhood nearly 30 years ago, Piedmont Systems has been my go to shop for all things secretarial. Ann and Diana have helped me in all sorts of ways: not just doing as I asked, but volunteering information and advice. Once, when I was under extreme emotional and time pressure, Ann spotted an error in my paperwork and prevented a disaster. She is an extremely valuable neighborhood resource. When there's time, chatting with her upgrades my day. read more

This place is a favorite. The staff is very professional, efficient, and helpful, and the pricing is inexpensive; a combination that is truly a rarity. The owner gave us a break on something that we had made the mistake on, something my husband and I genuinely appreciated, and she did not have to do at all. It is this way of doing business that keeps customers loyal and returning, which we will whenever we our in need of their type of services. read more

Prices for the services are very reasonable. I started doing business with Ann eons ago. She is very efficient!

They are amazing I go here mostly every day to pick up the mail for the office I work for they are the nicest women I have ever met. I love coming here. Keep up the good work read more

Had a friend mail me a package and chose for it to come here. I was unfamiliar with this place so when I got the delivered notification, I called to ask "is this a place I can pick up packages? I had one delivered here". I was told no and that caused a whole fiasco with me filing a claim with Fedex which lead to me not coming to pick it up until the last day before they return my package to the sender. When I came in the owner, Anne, was rude and basically didn't care about the issues her company caused me. She's more concerned with her business not being confused for a UPS/Fedex drop off point (idk how that relates to me picking up a package I already had delivered though). I will not be coming back or advising anyone I know to use this place. read more

Great services! Saves me many hundreds of dollars on buying print cartridges. Thank you.

I have been going here for years - just did not get around to writing a review till today. Ann K who owns it has been doing for 34 years. I have been coming here for the last 16. There was one time, I forgot to bring cash and Ann helped me without charging me ! When I reminded her the next time, she just shrugged it off. In a nutshell, if there is anything that can be done around notarizing, printing, copying and any and every aspect of this, Ann has it mastered. She does it competently and so very nicely. Coming here is time efficient, $ efficient and just a joy. Thank you Ann. read more

Always give excellent customer service. I will not go anywhere else. I make all my copies, faxes, and use there computer.

WHOAH. Better prices on multiple signatures on notarized documents than anywhere else in the a East Bay. Super friendly staff who helped solve multiple problems for us (they were able to scan and email our docs so we didn't need to make a second stop to fedex them later). Absolutely the best. read more

These guys are great. Early hours during the week! Drop off for UPS before i go to work. Yay!

This is the place on Piedmont Ave. to do business with...EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Locally owned. If you have to choose between Piedmont Systems and the UPS store...PIEDMONT SYSTEMS...all the way.
