Not a good cheese stick. You could tell the meat they use was good, but it was so skimpy. The sandwich was all bread. I had to take off half the bread and eat the sandwich open face style just to be able to taste the meat. Also, the meat was so over seasoned with seasoned salt. You can barely taste the real meat flavor. And then they just put the cheese on top of the sandwich so it didn't really melt, which was awful. I had to take most of that off. The fries were hot so that's a good thing, but they weren't very crispy. They could be cooked longer. I will say the girl working at the counter was very friendly, but I don't think I would ever go back here. $23 I expected a lot more. This family owned establishment is operated by a husband and wife who truly care about their customers. Be aware they close the restaurant on Saturday and Sunday. Good news they serve food from a mobile restaurant on Saturday and Sunday if you're craving a sandwich and some fries. So I just tried out this restaurant today. I ordered three steak sandwiches and one meatball sub (68.00) . I knew I was in for a big disappointment when the lady handed me the bag and the entire order felt like it weighed maybe like 1.5 lbs if that. Well of course when I get home, the sandwiches are the size of what you would expect to get on the kids menu. I will say the food does taste good but the portion size is absolutely ridiculously small. Nowhere worth the $16 per sandwich. The nachos were ginormous and packed with meat!! My son was obsessed with the pizza steak and the original, was as always, a hit! But let me tell you about the steak sandwich and rocky rolls!!! Holy smokes!!!! The flavor that was packed into each of these was out of this world!! The meat on the sandwich was cooked to perfection and piled high! I have no idea about another post regarding a lack of meat-- I call BS!! This thing was loaded down meat; the amount of meat made the bread roll it sits in look small. And the garlic sauce, it added a fantastic compliment to the overall flavor. They may consider selling it in buckets lol!! They may sell as much sauce as steak! Now, the rocky rolls are a cali in a roll- they are two nuclear bombs of flavor!!! The juxtaposition of the meat and crispy egg roll wrap was balanced and added a texture that took the roll to another level. Definitely a delicious experience!! The way the chef cooks, you can taste the love he puts into his food, it's not like some other restaurant that cut corners or haphazardly through things together- these are well thought out and prepared with care! I was impressed with the food, the amazing service-provided by Brittnie and the cleanliness of the restaurant! They have the coolest steampunk mural and sturdy wood tables and metal chairs.
