Our new go-to belt place. The portions of what we picked off the belt were a bit larger than most of the other places I have been to around here. Everything I tried was nice and fresh. I didn't see any fried items on the belt but the place was pretty dead when we were there. They do have a few things you could order but I'm weird about just picking from what's on the belt. I was asked by 2 different employees if I wanted to order anything so it's not like most of the places I have been where you have to flag someone down and hope they speak English. So where is everybody? We have been here twice now and both times it's been pretty dead. A lot of the places around here never turned the belt back on after the pandemic. To me, picking off the belt is the best part. Over time, we have tried almost all of these type places in the area and this is as good or better than any of them. If you are at all interested in this type of food, I urge you to give them a try. read more

Went for lunch ordered a couple of Rolls and took a few off the belt had a King Lion Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll,Volcano Roll and some Tuna slices all items were very fresh and good definitely will be back. read more

I was with the party of eight, Olivia. What do you mean "Speak up?" We went in and said we were there for happy hour. How loud should we have said that? Too bad the restaurant lost good customers arguing over what they said was two minutes after we went to pay. It IS the principle of the thing! If a restaurant advertises outside for Happy Hour from 2-4, then they should honor it! And they did not! Beware if you eat there. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but I'm massively disappointed. The eel in the caterpillar roll tasted FISHY. Like, bad fishy. The Tuna Lover roll was extremely bland. I didn't like the Mango roll, but that was mostly personal preference, and me not liking it was my fault for branching out and trying something new. Three stars, because their Thai iced tea and boba is delicious and the portion sizes are massive (including the filling on the inside). These are some of the biggest pieces of sushi I've ever eaten, and you have to take multiple bites to eat them. Unfortunately, I think they're trading larger portion sizes for quality. Shame. I would gladly pay the same price for smaller sizes I could fit in my mouth with higher quality ingredients. read more

Food is ok. Just like any other sushi bar but service is terrible. The restaurant offers happy hour from 2 to 4 PM which makes it worth coming to, however, I've seen the staff argue with a customer over arriving two minutes earlier than 2 PM-after it's time to pay!. If a restaurant is so stingy and doesn't value their customers enough to not argue over two minutes it's not a place I'd want to return to. I'd rather take my business somewhere where customers are valued Arguing with customers is a big no for me. Treat your customer well and they will return and everyone in the restaurant is happy. Argue with a customer over two minutes and make everyone there know you are is embarrassing. I won't come back. read more

We had a large party of eight and we planned to go for happy hour...so we told everyone to meet at Yi Sushi at two. We all gathered outside and my cousin had to use the bathroom so she went in at 1:58. The rest of us walked in and over to the table and were pulling plates off the belt at 2:00. When we went to pay, the manager would not give us a happy hour discount because my cousin walked through the door at 1:58 & Happy hour starts at 2:00. I will never return!!! If you have ever tasted real authentic sushi, or even decent tasting sushi or raw fish, I would honestly avoid Yi Sushi. For credibility we are from Hawaii and Japan. We know what yummy sushi and fresh raw fish tastes like, and for cheaper than this place. We ordered these nigiri: salmon, fatty salmon, seared salmon, baked mussel, and yellowtail. The fatty salmon tasted the best out of all, but we didn't come here to eat salmon belly only. We had to return the yellowtail because the fish had no flavor and honestly tasted bad. The server seemed confused when I asked to return the yellow tail because of how bad it tasted and took a minute to take the plate away. The quality of the fish tasted very cheap. The salmon Kama was fried with a batter that was too salty, and the batter resembled a fried chicken-like coating. It was not real salmon kama. The ambiance was alright, it seemed like they copied a restaurant in Hawaii that we are fans of. The music was okay..None of the dishes we had reminded us of home. It has been a real struggle finding something that is even close to what we are used to. read more

A great sushi option for the Salmon Creek area! Compared to the other sushi places close by, the rolls and nigiri are big and I don't feel like I'm paying $2.00 for a tiny bite of sushi.
