Honestly it's a choice you can make. Grab a plate charge by the plate. Don't understand what we ask or say, we got a first cub didn't realize it until my drink was half way gone. When asked about the dirty cub didn't replace it or care to. The place is run down and needs a whole work up remodeling. The food isn't bad but not the best sushi we've had. Your choice if you'd want to eat here or not. Half the time there isn't anyone at the front to seat you, or always one person in the kitchen. Sushi Hana is better than this place. Service was okay, but I had to push for an order and condiments, server was clearly ready to just dip after setting down waters; bonus she was on her phone when I asked her when the place closed, we returned 29 minutes lateral after shopping shes still on her phone the entire service never checked on us at all. Maybe this counts as a caveat but based on other reviews its inline with what has been said. Came in 1 hour before closing and ordered everything " fresh " since there were barely plates left on the belt. Food came and all the rice was extremely mushy but just enough texture to be formed into shape and held together by mostly soggy wet rice, also rice was unseasoned. Fish was on the verge of being fishy and honestly everything was nasty. We 3 plates of our food hoping just the first 2 of our plates were made poorly out of the others, my hunch was prove wrong, and we left 15 minutes later with no togo boxes. Customer beware. Sushi might not match the color of the plate listed on their pricing menu, resulting in you not receiving the right pricing you were expecting (it will be higher). Even after calling out their price discrepancy between the bill and pricing menu, they were unapologetic. Food is good / fine, no complaints on that front. read more

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in when I went to the mall. However, last time I went (after not having been there in a couple of years due to the pandemic), it was just not clean. The covers to the sushi on the belt were slightly sticky/tacky. The bathroom had no soap (how do employees wash their hands?) and it just generally had gone downhill. If I could give zero stars I would. I tried to give this place a a second chance with my daughter. But after COVID and coming back you would expect places to be cleaner than ever. Our drink cups had black and brown on them. All of the toppers that cover the plates had dirt around probably just thrown in the sanatozer but no care in scrubbing them down. Belt sushi is a very interesting experience during COVID. Mioga at the mall was actually a very pleasant experience. Service was quick and attentive. The sushi was good but there are better options out there when they are making it fresh to order. It was still a $45 tab out the door for two people during lunch. I guess that isn't super unreasonable? The deep fried rolls such as the Vegas were excellent since all the sushi was made on the spot. I thought it was a bit overpriced compared to other belt sushi, but it's in the mall so maybe more cost there? Our party of two walked out of the empty restaurant when the hostess told us the tables are reserved for three or more people. We were literally the only customers in the restaurant and she wanted us the two of us to sit at the "bar" style seating. In more detail, after we waited at the front stand for a bit, the hostess came over and motioned for us to take a seat. She didn't take us to a seat. She just motioned towards where the seats were... but when we walked past the single seats to a table, she told us the tables were reserved for parties of three or more. The restaurant literally had no other customers in it, zero, but she couldn't have cared less about us. When I said that we'd just go somewhere else, the hostess said that was fine and walked away. Ofcourse, be selective in what you order because its just a fast sushi spot. If you're looking for a 5 star fancy dining, this isn't the place, but something quick, filling and cheap , this is. The sushi was great, considering it's mall sushi. My only thing with this place is the portioning. This place used to be one of those revolving sushi places where the plates were super cheap, but you get like 2-4 small rolls per plate so you can get a lot of variety. Since they stopped doing revolving sushi because of Covid, they have a similar pricing and portion structure, but you have to individually order each roll. So if you're going there, you get seated and order a California Roll and a Philly Roll to start off and you then have to wait 10 minutes for a dinky plate with a half portion of sushi, then wait another 10 minutes if you so decide to order more. I think they should just double the price and give full portions, or at least the option of ordering a full portion. Besides the annoying price structure, I really enjoyed it there, I just wasn't willing to wait for more rolls. read more

Hot food off the conveyor is Luke warm at best so I wouldn't grab from there again. When I give into this craving I know going in i am not going to have the best Sushi I have ever eaten but it do expect it to be fresh and there to be a variety of many different types of Sushi and Sushi Rolls. I took my family to Sushi Mioga with that expectation but unfortunately it just didn't make the grade. Nothing bad but nothing great, same rolls rotating continually developing that not so fresh look. I was also disappointed in the lack of variety. To give them the benefit of the doubte they did have many signs showing a good variety of choices but sadly a good portion of them were missing. A sushi place ran by Chinese people that isn't the best sushi in the area, but I go there when I decide to see multiple movies on the same day at the nearby AMC Theater. For some reason, this Sushi Mioga never has happy hour when their other locations do. One of my favorite rolls is one of their cheapest ones, the roll with just tempura fried jalapeños and cream cheese. I also really like the Boston Roll that has lobster salad in it.
