Please spare yourself and do not ever eat at Sushi Mioga (inside the vancouver mall). This was our first time eating here and definitely last! First of all, the employees have horrible customer service!! They truly don't care customers it's all about the money for them. I cannot believe how rude both of the ladies were, (the front greeter and the cleaning lady). I was trying to place an order and no one would come up and take my order. I had to wave them down. Also no one ever offered to refill my water. Second of all, the sushi is old, cold and not good! I regret even eating here. Please save your money and time! The bathrooms inside the restaurant are dirty, not well kept up. They do not lack staff since they had 4 people working during lunch hour.

Zero stars but I can't do zero.. the older lady that is the only nice employee here.. everyone else is rude and will question you over and over again about what you ordered.. also rushing to get out of the building.

    "Fresh"

The restaurant was literally empty when we got in. We asked if the Susi is fresh and they lied on us saying that yes they are fresh. We left hungry and sick after 1 plate No music in or something, completely silence Ambiance 0 Don't recommend

I had a great experience with Sushi Mioga. They were really helpful and nice when I phoned in my order. I ordered seven different rolls. They were each four pieces, and as described online. I liked them all, especially the Sushi Express roll! All seven rolls came to $24. Very affordable takeout sushi!! And it was tasty and fresh!! I definitely recommend Sushi Mioga! Especially if you're looking for something for everyone.

The man is unfriendly and the sushi is warm. If I get sick I know it's this shite. The first plate was okay and the second was questionable, the third trash. Edamame was luke warm!!! Lmao how is this still in business?! Help me understand. The woman that just came for her pick up order, told that man thank you and he turned his head!!!

First I would like to say the waiters got in my personal bubble to many times. I felt very uncomfortable. Secondly the fountain drink cup was dirty. Lastly the calamari was over salted and to much batter. Left feeling sick after eating spicy crab roll. It's unfortunate because I truly miss sushiland. I would have a have it a 3 star but my experience here was terrible. Good luck truly dissatisfied.

If I could give zero stars I would. I tried to give this place a a second chance with my daughter. But after COVID and coming back you would expect places to be cleaner than ever. Our drink cups had black and brown on them. All of the toppers that cover the plates had dirt around probably just thrown in the sanatozer but no care in scrubbing them down. We had to walk up and leave. Not acceptable especially in the mall they should take more care of cleaning.

Example of the rainbow roll. Tuna has weird brown spots and tastes disgusting.

I don't go to the mall much, but this is definitely somewhere I'd eat again! I especially loved the New Orleans roll and sweet potato roll!

Super cheap prices and a large variety. We order the Philadelphia roll often and the pork gyozas which are very good.

A Sushi-Fueled Saturday Success!…read more We walked in on a chill Saturday afternoon--party of four--and scored front-row parking like sushi royalty. No wait, no fuss. Service? Super speedy and genuinely kind. A+ hospitality. Let's talk food (aka the stars of the show): Caterpillar Roll - Fresh, light, and beautifully presented. The kind of roll that makes you feel like you're eating healthy... even if you follow it with fried gyoza. Spider Roll - Crispy? Yes. Flavorful? Yes. But the flavors blended into each other a bit too much--more "symphony" than "solo act." Still enjoyable, just not a standout. Clam Miso Soup - A delightful surprise! Big, juicy clams swimming in a savory miso bath. A must-try if you're into seafood. Regular Miso Soup - Classic, comforting, no complaints. Fried Gyoza - Golden, crispy, and flavorful. Honestly, I could eat a whole plate solo and call it a day. Shrimp Tempura - Massive, crunchy, and satisfying. You'll want to share... but you won't want to. Seahawk Roll (aka Volcano Roll?) - Came in HOT (temperature-wise and vibe-wise). Bold flavors and satisfying heat. Crunch Munch Roll - Smoked salmon + shrimp = interesting combo. Tasty, but the smoked salmon kind of hogged the spotlight. Final thoughts: Everything looked great, tasted fresh, and came out quickly. A few rolls were more memorable than others, but overall it was a win. We'd definitely return for another round--especially that clam miso soup and shrimp tempura!

We walked in and noticed that no one looked familiar except maybe one sushi chef. The conveyor was organized with didn't rolls grouped together with a little sign. We took two seats at the conveyor and started into some California rolls as a warm up. As we plowed through a few plates we were starting to look at each other, something wasn't quite right. We love good conveyor sushi and usually this place is our top pick, it's just usually fresher and bigger than other places, but today, and recently, some of plates that used to have four rolls have three now, the rainbow rolls didn't look as vibrant in color. The taste was just flat, not bad, but different, it wasn't up to the usual Sushi Tsunami standards, and hasn't been the last few times. I have a feeling they have changed hands. It was a Tsunami of mediocrity. Plus side was the service was still good and the amount of rolls on the conveyor was plentiful. Handicapped parking was great and the servers offered to let us sit where ever we wanted so I would be comfortable. Props for that. I hope that someone from here reads this and tries to get the standards and quality back to where it was before, because this place was head and shoulders above the rest, now it's about the same.

When we asked if they had a kids menu, she said "our portions are so small it'll be the perfect size for a kid" uhm that's definitely not a selling point. Not going to pay $11.50 for a Bento if I won't be full. We all just decided to try somewhere else. The food did not look appetizing.

Had dinner at Oishi Sushi. It was busy!…read more Service was excellent. The food was delicious. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is that we've had better spider rolls and salmon at other local Japanese restaurants. What really stood out was the bento box selections. I should have selected teriyaki beef instead of the salmon. The salmon was overcooked. Hard, and not very tasty. The salad dressing had no taste either. I am accustomed to delicious ginger dressing for salads at Japanese restaurants. The tempura was delicious. My husband said that he's had better spider rolls elsewhere. To be fair, we've lived in areas that have superb Japanese food (Hawaii, Guam, and the Bay Area in California). And my husband has traveled to mainland Japan and Okinawa. He's a military veteran, and so is my dad, so we've lived in several states, and overseas. Sooooo... for Southwest Washington, Oishi Sushi is definitely worth trying, for lunch or dinner. CHEERS!
