I rented backpacking gear here for a Havasupai trip after calling ahead because I hadn't backpacked…read morein years and wanted guidance on what equipment I needed. When I arrived to pick up my reservation, none of the gear had been prepared. I spent over an hour in the store while employees searched for equipment, including the cookset I had reserved. I was eventually given a Jetboil stove and separate cookset, but no one explained any compatibility limitations and the only instruction was provided after I specifically asked. On the trip, while boiling water for dinner, the stove caught fire and we extinguished it immediately. When I returned the gear and explained what happened, I was told I would be charged for the damaged equipment. The most disappointing part of the experience was the interaction with the owner. Rather than discussing what happened professionally, he told me he couldn't believe someone could be "so stupid" and that the employees were all laughing at me in back for not knowing that I could only use one of the two pots they rented me with the stove and said I should have Googled it before renting it (not that the brand or model was listed on their website). Mistakes happen. Had this been limited to a reservation mix-up or equipment issue, I probably would not be writing this review. What turned me away permanently was the way the situation was handled afterward. As a final note, the store called me three days after I returned the equipment because it had not been checked back into their inventory system and they wanted to confirm I had actually returned it, so their inventory management issues didn't seem like a one off.

I love that they carry some of our favorite brands like Vuori, Patagonia, North Face, Hoka, New Balance and Birkenstock. They also have a limited selection of energy fuel (ie: gu, gummies, etc...) + sunscreen, lip balm and small sporting accessories. The prices are not cheap, however... unless you luck out and find your size and style on a sale rack. On a recent visit with my daughter, we purchased 3 pairs of shorts. One on sale and the others pretty expensive. Hopefully they will last a long time!

There were two customers ahead of me. I looked at a few items in the store and was helped in about five minutes. I was measured for an insole. Staff heated the insole. I then stepped on a piece of equipment that would mold the insole to my foot. Staff were super helpful. She had me try on some slight compression socks. Once the insole was ready as well as my results, staff got me a pair of shoes. She placed the insoles inside and had me try them on. They felt so good. I was on a time crunch so I had to leave shortly after that. Staff sent me the foot evaluation results to my email. Interesting process and good to know the results. Shared parking lot.

WARNING to all veterans and buyers considering Haley Strategic Partners…read more For over a month, I have been fighting Haley Strategic Partners to get a refund for a significant purchase that has been "stuck in transit" since early March. Instead of honoring its responsibility as the seller, HSP Customer Service has repeatedly hidden behind the carrier's slow claim process, refusing a refund until the package is returned or the claim is acknowledged. The hypocrisy is staggering: after a month and a half of fighting with them they offered to reship a replacement (acknowledging their liability for the loss), but refuse to refund the exact same amount of money for the original purchase. Haley Strategic Partners markets heavily to veterans and first responders, yet this is how they treat their core customer base. A company that claims its principles are "forged around the warriors we serve" and offers MIL/LE discounts is actively choosing to place the entire financial burden of a shipping failure on the customer. This demonstrates a complete lack of integrity and respect for the people who buy their "premium gear." My patience is exhausted. Since HSP explicitly stated they "will not be issuing a refund... at this time," I have initiated a full chargeback with my bank for non-receipt of goods and am filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and state consumer protection authorities. Don't waste your time or hundreds of dollars on a company that will abandon you when their system fails. Haley Strategic Partners lost a customer for life.

I'm so glad we chose not to buy from a bigger sporting goods chain like Dicks and came here. We had a very good personalized 1 on 1 experience with Dylan and Tanner who were very knowledgeable and helpful with helping my son choose the right glove. They have a great selection of bats and gloves amongst other baseball and softball equipment here. The store is just big enough without being overwhelming. I can't thank Tanner and Dylan enough for the wonderful experience. They also have glove break in service which is normally $60 but $30 if you buy the glove from them. Since we are out of state they said they could keep the glove and complete the service which is 5-7 days and then ship to us. 10/10 recommend!!!
