Ski Pro in Desert Ridge is your one stop shop for all things winter and ski in the desert. Every time I have been there, the stock is low but the workers are always kind to help and lend an opinion and advice. The prices are comparable to any type of ski store or item and the variety of brands is always great. It's always busy, as ski stores are few and far between in the area. Ski Pro should be on your next stop when going skiing or heading to a colder destination. read more

This place is a joke. We rented ski boots for my son and the buckles kept popping open during his skiing. I informed the manager, and was told that I should maybe invest in buying a pair of boots to avoid this problem. Far be it from me to offer unsolicited advice, but maybe, just maybe, they should rent better equipment. Good luck to all ski renters, I hope you don't get those boots. read more

We came in a few Saturdays ago needing guidance purchasing outfits for my husband and teenage daughter to learn to snowboard in Colorado during winter break. Efrain was amazing! He was friendly, easy to work with, knowledgeable and patient with the many questions and concerns our family voiced throughout the process. And he did a great job of outfitting them both. Our trip was a wonderful succuss in large part to Efrain making sure they were both warm and comfortable all day on the slopes. Ski Pro is affordable (as much as ski gear can be), helpful, and a quality shop to get you skiing/snowboarding in style. read more

Excellent store, excellent service, excellent pricing! This store is new. It was located in Scottsdale prior to this year. It is huge and has yet it plenty of space to navigate! There is an excellent selection and the prices and service are phenomenal! read more

It's so nice having the new location for Ski Pro Desert Ridge! Having a full store on the north side of town vs the old outlet store is so much better! The seasonal selections are vast and super high quality gear. Ski and snowboard gear during the winter and water sports for the summer. Their ski and snowboard rental department rocks, they offer new gear for rentals and the team members that work there are equally amazing. read more

Nice selection and fair pricing . Staff is friendly and helpful. Would shop here again

Staff was friendly but it really feels like there's 15 employees standing around doing nothing at all times. Was told my snowboard wax would take 15-20 mins tops, and after waiting 30+ mins I went to check on it only to find that no one had started on my board yet. Super frustrating since they weren't busy, and the same employees were standing around still doing nothing. Probably won't be back read more

Service is fabulous, friendly, knowledgeable. Was there this past weekend for stuff for trip to Antarctica. The salesman (Jake) and manager were extremely helpful and knew exactly what I needed. I will definitely return for my upcoming ski trips. read more

Tom and Andy were absolutely amazing. We have always rented gear and were possibly ready to purchase our own. They made my husband and I confident and excited with our purchase. With spending so much on gear, it was awesome to have two people with so much knowledge to help make the best decision that was truly personalized to us. read more

Showed the display helmet to the cashier and they told me there was a 10% discount, I showed him scratches and stains on the helmet. He grabbed someone to see if the price was going to change due to the damage. She grabbed the helmet, went to the back and spent 8 minutes cleaning it. The finger smudges were gone but unfortunately you can't clean sharpie and scratches off a helmet . She also walked right past me and didn't even glance when I respectfully let her know we were standing else-where by offering a friendly "hey how's it going", which was incredibly rude. You guys could have sold a display helmet to a local read more

I went to Ski Pro at Desert Ridge and got fitted for ski boots. Great experience. Huge selection and Tom was able to narrow it down to just what I needed. The service was top notch. Tom thank you, you're the best! read more

Love this new location, much closer for us that live on the north side of town. We took our ski's in for service and waxing for the end of the year, Everyone we met was so helpful and friendly, I have to give kudos to Pete on the rental and service area for helping my husband out with a small adjustment of his ski boots. Sometimes it's the littlest thing that you recognize about a business. This newer location is clean well organized with some great merchandise, looking forward to shopping here in the future read more

After the first two lack luster young kids I finally had the pleasure of working with Chuck. He was very helpful showing me what was available for my harder to fit feet for ski boots. Ski Pros need more Chucks....heck the world needs more Chucks! Good dude and knows his gear! Thank you Chuck. read more

My family and I went to get some new boots and skis at Ski Pro in Desert Ridge. As we waited to be serviced, a man by the name of Tom was there for the rescue. His professionalism and thoroughness were remarkably noticeable, and his humor throughout the entire fitting was excellent. This is the spot to receive wonderful customer service, and employees who are well-rounded and knowledgeable about their occupation. What a pleasure to have stopped her today! read more

Best selection, service and prices! There is truly a wide variety of selection for ski/ board for men, women and kids. We also shopped during a store wide sale and found great deals. The store is extremely clean and well organized. read more

Tom helped me select pin ski boots and have them mounted. Was able to price match as well. He's been in the ski industry for a long time and really knows his stuff! I'll be sending all my friends. You could teach a masterclass for ski shop employees! Thx Tom. read more

Excellent inventory and sales staff. However, upon spending $450 on a pair of skis the manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful when the item rang up cheaper than they had marked it. Good luck selling more skis in the desert with that attitude read more

Do not rent skis from this location the ski rental process takes more than an hour just to pick up your skis even after you had paid for them and gotten measured the week before. there was only four people in front of us more than an hour. Lots of frustrated and angry customers. Spoke to the manager Gina who was rude and unhelpful. Simply said this is the method here and did not attempt to help speed the process up by helping take care of customers. She also spent significant time wandering around the store floor and the lineup was 15 people long. read more

I have been visiting the desert ridge location on a monthly basis sometimes even twice a month ever since they opened. I used to have to make the long trip to the Phoenix or Mesa location but the ski gods answered my prayers and blessed me with a ski pro closer to home. Whether you are a beginner looking to get in to snow sports renting gear, or getting your very first set up or even a long time skier/snowboarder looking to update or maintain your gear the amazing team at desert ridge ski pro are here to help answer all your questions and help anyway they can. Often times ski shops can be very intimidating because it is often a new hobby for many of us Arizonans from the valley but with employees like Jeremy and Julian and the rest of the wonderful ski pro team they make you feel very welcome and are willing to answer all of your questions and be of assistance any way they can. Wouldn't trust anyone else for all of my snowboarding needs. Keep up the great work Ski pro desert ridge has truly made me a loyal customer and I plan to be so for a very long time read more

I went in to purchase a set of skis boots and bindings the other day, not knowing exactly what i wanted. Pete came over and offered me some help, and needed up getting an awesome setup thanks to Pete! He answered lots of questions for me and got me going in the right direction! read more

The manager Gianna is great. She is super sweet and helpful in trying to make recommendations based off your needs. Unfortunately I purchased a one piece snow suit for over $500 and after one day of skiing in Big Bear they ripped at the seam. I was told to take pictures and email them in so they could contact the specific manufacturer for a warranty plan. It's been 5 weeks now and I have heard nothing. Frustrating as I'm going to ski again this weekend. I'll pop into one of the flagstaff shops with used ski gear bc honestly what I've purchased their second hand has held up. One of the other managers or employees, I believe Gianna's boyfriend, said they were unable to exchange or refund bc they were more of a "'mom and pop" which confused me they are a franchise with several locations around the valley. They could definitely learn something about customer service from a retail store like Nordstrom. read more

Ryan was amazing, took his time helping me and was just over all made our experience 10/10

I dropped of my snowboard for a "full tune up" which consisted of sharpening the edges and a hot wax. The staff was very friendly and my board was as smooooth as butter and the edges were nice n' sharp! Zero complaints here. read more

Kyle and Adriana were so helpful in helping be find the night board and bindings. Will definitely go back to them next time I need help.

I am beyond impressed. I bought the seasonal rentals for both my kids but, as 12 year old boys do, my son grew...right out of his boots. Before we ever actually hit the slopes. We went in this morning (Friday of literally the busiest ski weekend of the year) and they did not have any youth ski equipment in their rental inventory that would work for my son. The manager took a brand new pair of boots from their sellable inventory and converted them to rentals for us. That was customer service beyond my wildest imagination. Thank you Ski Pro for making our snow day AMAZING tomorrow. As if I wasn't already, I am a customer for life and would recommend Ski Pro to anyone and everyone looking for equipment or rentals!! read more

Easiest ski rental ever. Don't know why you would want to rent on mountain and face all that madness. Pick your skis up here the day before. Great staff. Easy process. read more

The staff is super helpful and all their gear is dope- tons of cool snowboards and clothes. Check them out for rentals!!!

These guys are great. Was able to get some last minutes equipment for a trip to Utah and their selection is incredible

Rude staff. Sales are misleading. Many other options that are better priced with better customer service.

Best ski and snow sports shop in the area! Purchased skis and boots for myself and wife here. Very knowledgeable staff. Sean will fit you to the perfect skis or snowboard depending on your ability and riding style. He knows a lot about all the gear! The back shop is also great for a quick wax or tune up on your gear. Quick turnaround time. They also sell everything you need here for the snow. Jackets, boots, helmets, goggles, and all the accessories. They also rent gear and sell lift tickets at discounted prices. Highly recommended! read more

Lots of helpful people eager to get you the right equipment. They have a great selection and if you show up here without a single ski or snowboard item, you can leave with everything!!!! Skis. Snowboards. Boots. Poles. Jackets. Helmets. Goggles. Everything! I shopped around and they have everything at a great saving. So if you shop around you will see they have at the outlet the best equipment just last years models. Mostly new stuff but some used. I mostly like how they respond. You tell them the type of skiing or snowboarding you do and they find the right equipment for you and in your price range. Enjoy! read more
