We loved this throwback restaurant. The prices were good and so was the food. My hamburger was huge but it was really good and I finished it all. The kids had chicken strips and French fries and loved them. We got a hot fudge sundae for the girls and I had to taste it of course. It was crazy good. The girls ate the entire thing. There was tons of memorabilia all over the walls with statues of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe inside. The service was great. We spilled some lemonade and the waitress was so nice in helping to clean it up. It's a very fun restaurant.

Stopped in due to the name and photo's found online. The atmosphere did not disappoint! The place is very nostalgic to wander through and look at! But, don't go for the food. We had the Saturday all you can eat fried catfish. Worst catfish I've ever had, and I've had a lot. I don't think they know what seasonings are. We sprinkled on lots of salt and pepper to try and get something to taste edible because we were both starving. The pinto beans tasted like ranch style beans. The coleslaw was just off. I only had one bite and it tasted like it was going bad. The tastiest thing was the hush puppies, which I assume were frozen. Definitely stop in for the cool decor, but just have some ice cream and go somewhere else to eat.

    Retro fun atmosphere

Food was absolutely amazing! Ambiance is fun oldies retro and they nailed it. Service they are so nice smiling and want to be here. No bad attitudes here 10/10 would recommend

First things first, DELICIOUS AS HELL! Second, the service was great, we went here for my little brothers birthday and had a blast when the original Scooby doo intro played! There's all you can sing 50's music that fits the vibe in every way, not to mention miss Monroe with the classic fan pose in the middle of the diner. Prices are quite decent too. Recommend if you want to go somewhere for a themed part, girls night out, bachelor/bachelorette part, or even just to have fun with the family! The workers are even in theme with the restaurant, it's awesome. It's super colorful inside like one of those I-spy books you'd read at recess in fourth grade.

My monkey was attending church camp so we drove 2 hours to drop him off. On the way there, I saw this place and the old time memorabilia caught my eye. A few days later we picked him up and he was out of the movie Nel he was speechless, burnt, and full of bug bites but THAT appetite was still there. We stopped at the restaurant and sure enough this 80s kid went Back to The Future. The servers were dressed in 50s motif and very friendly. You are totally consumed by the posters, black and white TV's, life size statues of Marlyn & Elvis. Monkey aka Nel ordered chicken strips, Mother of mokey Raspberry chicken our little rhino had kids portion chicken strips and my big belly saw the all you can eat catfish so as Betty Boop said boobo bidup CATFISH it is for me. Our server was nice and efficient with providing us with information from the menu. The portions size are awesome and worth the price. The chicken strips were huge not your regular processed size with easy breading. The Raspberry chicken was delicious according to monkeys mom. The catfish had no flavor but with pickled jalapeños and tartar sauce it made it tasty. It was all you could eat and bringing the portions took time (insert the look Lurch gives in the Adams Family) We had room for something sweet so we shared a warm apple pie and brownie Sunday which were scrumptious. The apple pie is made in-house in a warm skillet. We drove back 2 hours satisfied and Nel fell asleep in the car on the way home. If you are in the area and you are looking for good eats and nostalgia in mind Yesterday is for you. The cost $64.74 plus tip

The whole restaurant had really cool decor. I was in town for a birthday trip. We actually ate there twice. Their Brownie Sundae was pretty amazing too! We were there. The customer service was beyond excellent everyone was so friendly. I will definitely return if I ever visit that town again!

Truly authentic 50's American diner from the decor to the food! Fantastic food! The Tuesday special was"Mom's meatloaf" and it was as good, even better than my Mom's meatloaf! And all the fixins too. The best part was their special apple pie with brandy butter sauce. WOW! And we don't really like apple pie! The root beer float was just like I remember them. The service was very friendly and personable. We told them it was our first visit and everyone was actually excited to introduce us to the best items on the menu. I will return as often as possible to try everything!

We dropped by here based on local residents that said they have great sandwiches. It's a quaint little mom and pop style sandwich restaurant. They also serve burgers and tacos. So I ordered the cheeseburger on sourdough (it seems they make their own buns) and my friend ordered the Linda's signature turkey sandwich. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended tater tots for my buddy. My burger was good. Doesn't appear to be a frozen Pattie. I liked everything but the only downfall was the bun fell apart too quickly. However that same bun tasted really good. I want to come back and try the sandwiches next.

They also have three pool tables and TVs. The menu is extensive and the prices reasonable for BBQ. Seems like a favorite of the locals. I though they would be playing C&W, but they had 60's and 70's music on. The squeeze and I split a two meat plate with brisket and sausage and two sides, cowboy cole slaw and Rooster Tails (Deep fried onion petals). The brisket was moist and very tender, with a slight smokiness. The sausage was deeply smoked, sliced in half and charred a bit on the flattop. The slaw and Rooster Tails were really good. A nice slightly spicy dip was served with the onions. Good BBQ sauce for the brisket, and they also had a wall of pain with some choice hot sauces on it. I didn't partake, since I have a flight to catch in the morning. They brought a second plate for no charge. The squeeze had a canned IPA and I had a Shiner Bock draft for libations. We really enjoyed the meal. Morgan was an excellent server and didn't try to shoo us out even though more customers were coming in. Very friendly welcome when we walked in the door. The nice lady at the counter walked us through the process and explained the menu. In order the fish and shrimp combo with tater tots and it came with a "salad bar" and pinto beans. The salad was really fixings for a sandwich or burger and some sauces. My Wife ordered their famous cheeseburger that appears to have won "Best Burger" many times by the plaques on the wall, and their onions rings. Everything is made fresh so we waited about 15 minutes while sitting in the dining room with a great view of Lake Bridgeport. Food was delivered and it looked great and smelled good. My fish was crispy, with a cornmeal batter that was seasoned very elk and it tasted GREAT! The shrimp has a panko breading that was crispy and cured my craving for fried shrimp.Tots nice and crispy, maybe just a little too crispy, but they were very good. Large portions for sure. Our appetizer was a jalapeño sausage, wrapped in bacon and topped with melted cheese. Wow! Excellent pop, not too spicy and the flavors melded great together. The cheeseburger was a short rib grind burger patty, thick and full size. Taste was excellent but the firm texture of the short rib meat may surprise you. The star of the burger was the bun; jalapeño bread reminiscent of a Shlotskys sandwich bread but nice and soft. I could eat just an order of those buns. Overall food 5 stars. The dining room a solid 4 stars as it is showing it's age but we will visit again the get of their great, well priced food.

The kitchen seemed to be in a state of chaos with several people screaming at each other. As it was us and one other couple, there must have been tons of call-in orders or something... but we seemed more like we were in the way, rather than they appreciated our business. The philly steak grinder, unseasoned with a 1/2 melted piece of provolone thrown over the top (see pic), which would rate a 2. This location is attached to a gas station and the menu board was all scratched, so it looked sketch. But our order was correct and the food was warm so no complaints there. My husband and I both ordered the chicken sandwich. The breading has a certain seasoning in it that reminds me of frozen chicken you get from Walmart except this chicken also had a weird shape. It was not just a chicken patty-shape, it had knarls and kinks in it. Our sandwich was made with potato bun which is my fave which hosted a horseradish/mayo-type sauce on it, but I didn't like the way the flavor of the sauce clashed with whatever seasoning is in the breading. I am going to feel confident in assuming the chicken is not breaded in house but rather are trucked frozen so the taste cannot be changed though. No biggie, I can always go somewhere else for my chicken sandwich cravings after all it IS called BURGER king. My deduction of a star is due to the actual taste of the food as it wasn't my preferred taste, even though the fries are great! But customer is on point.
