Amazing food, great customer service, the best sweet tea and a perfect atmosphere for lunch after Sunday church service!!!!

If you are ever in Boyd this is a must try. Good ole Home cooking and very affordable. We got lucky and could still order breakfast at 11:15(stops at 11:00) because it was slow I got a scrambler (eggs, bacon, hash browns),on top of a biscuit with cream gravy. We also got a waffle 2 eggs and bacon and a breakfast sandwich on Texas toast. Husband got catfish and 2 veggies.. we all left very full and the whole bill was only 25.00!!

Seemed to be a well reviewed establishment and not too far off the Hwy headed to Ft. Worth. The food (breakfast) was delcious. Service was exceptional. All left very happy. Refreshing place and can't recommend it highly enough.

They immediately sat me and asked me what I wanted to drink. Then my very friendly waitress Luisa came and gave me the full run down on the menu. I decided to do the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and the broccoli and rice casserole. My favorite thing was the broccoli and rice casserole. It was so yummy and the corn bread was incredibly moist!! Everything was a 5/5. The service. The food. The ambiance. I will 100% be back if I come through the area and would highly recommend it!

Once we all arrived outside the restaurant, we were welcomed in by a very kind gentleman. After we were all seated, the sweetest server Olga quickly took our drink orders and returned for our food orders. It took a minute for everyone in our group to decide. This place was packed and booming. The majority of our group went with Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes, and numerous different sides. I had a side salad with ranch. It's was huge and I shared it with the GRANDdaughters. This place was serving both breakfast and lunch, and seems to have a great following with the locals. Olga took amazing care of us and was very attentive to all her tables. The food was a hit with everyone. Enormous plates full of food we definitely needed to-go boxes. Do not leave because the parking lot is full, there is plenty of ample parking with a waiting area inside. It's a long drive from Oklahoma, lol, but I hope to return soon. #FtWorthTexas #TarrantCounty

Like others have mentioned, I could cut the Chicken Fried with a fork. Great crust, great taste,…read morewith great gravy. The Green Beans were perfect for green beans. And the Home Cut French Fries were as good as they come. On a downside that wasn't their fault... Getting out of the parking lot is a nightmare. If you have to go North, you're probably ok. Going South, East, or West is impossible... To turn and go East, you have 40 or 50 cars bumper to bumper waiting to make a left at the 287 freeway. Because of lane closure, going West forms one lane, to the left, still blocked by the same 40 or 50 cars bumper to bumper. To make my point better, the 40 or 50 cars waiting in line to go West, then South on 287, affects all three directions. East, West, and South. I was optimistic to make a right, then get on the access road going North. My plan was to exit soon, then make a U-turn. However, I was almost in Wichita Falls before I found a way to do this, and even then, I had to merge in traffic going 80 mph, from a stop sign crossing the medium... No acceleration lane at all... A dead stop, then an immediate left turn onto the freeway.

Worst breakfast and it was a one and done. I ordered the…read morechicken fried steak with the gravy on the side. Came out to me with gravy all over it. Had absolutely no flavor at all in the breading and the meat was rather tough. My husband ordered the French toast which tasted just like bread and nothing like French toast is supposed to. His order came out wrong the first time as well and he had scrambled eggs when he ordered over easy. Sat with no coffee for way too long! No apologies or anything taken off our bill!

I might try them again another time and see if I have a different experience. I saw that they had a $17 buffet on Tik Tok so I decided to check it out with a friend. A lot went wrong that was out of the restaurants control- they had no idea that someone posted them and were not prepared for the sudden influx of people. We waited and waited and waited to be seated and then had to wait again for the buffet line ( over an hour and a half before we were eating). They had two servers for the entire restaurant and those women were hustling. The restaurant has a tin roof and with all the people going in and out and the hot grill at the back, I felt like we were eating outside. Everyone was sweating. It.was.so.hot. When we reached the plates for the buffet line , they were all greasy as if they hadn't been washed properly. The food wasn't bad, but the best things by far were the pancakes and French toast made to order . I also liked the cheddar sausage and biscuit. The people are nice, the food is decent and worth the price , but the long lines, the heat, and the greasy plates didn't allow me to really enjoy my meal.
