Such good coffee! I also got the breakfast sandwich with the biscuit. It was good but definitely very rich I don't think I'd get it on a biscuit again. But the coffee is amazing. My husband and I loved this place. My fellow Yelpers never disappoint. It's in downtown La Quinta where the staff are friendly and the service is quick. We came right after a night of work and there was less than a 5 minute wait. It's one of those places where you order at the register, hand you a number and bring your meal to you. The presentation of my avocado toast was not only appealing but tasty. I enjoyed my huckleberry scone and my husband loved his breakfast burrito. They made our mimosas the way we like it; with a hint of OJ. The area is super cute and quaint. If I didn't live in the LA county, I would be a regular here. Great little coffee shop/bakery right by La Quinta where we were staying. The blueberry scone was the best scone we had ever tried, coming from 2 people that really don't like scones. This is a great spot! La Quinta doesn't have a lot of high quality coffee, but this place has both delicious coffee as well as good food. Since you asked me to change my rating, I will because I do still love Yes Please but I still stand by that people do need to know that you guys unfortunately sell out of almost all your biscuits and scones and other pastries by 9am (when I have been there lots of times). I'm just giving my review that if you make more, I know a lot of people would be less frustrated when they get there and everything is sold out. We love it a lot and want to keep coming but it's starting to frustrate our family and friends when we come back empty handed multiples times in one week. Placed an online order on 5/18 at 9:25, got confirmation and that it would be ready between 10:20-10:45 am. I didn't get my order until 11:50. Not only that but I ordered a numeric latte with 2 shots of espresso and they forgot the espresso and I ordered turkey sausage in my breakfast burrito and they gave me bacon. We are so excited to be a member of the Old Town community in beautiful La Quinta. Our menu is in the middle of changing for the season but not to worry, we have kept the favorites like our Breakfast Hash and our Hollandaise that is served with our popular, very flaky house-made buttermilk biscuits. YAY Please come in and try our new huckleberry scones, warmed up and drizzled with a citrus icing. What began as play as a child has become an actual dream come true. In my youth I played restaurant and as a second career in my twenties, I attended the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and enjoyed a well-round career in the hospitality and food service industry. From a 5 star 5 diamond hotels and high end dining, commercial food research and recipe development for national companies and most recently, owning and operating a custom cake, dessert and catering business in the South Bay and Beach Cities in Los Angeles. I came with my wife and some company after Coachella, and everyone enjoyed their meals just as much. It's always a good sign when the whole table is happy. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service kept everything running smoothly. Definitely a spot we'd come back to for a solid breakfast.

The really disappointment came from three guests next to us that had a speaker phone FaceTime going for over 10 minutes. We asked them to stop, as did another guest. They asked why and continued. We asked the server, who just apologized to us and the other guest. We didn't want an apology, we wanted them to stop. My feeling is that the owner's skill is the food but not managing the environment. Additional focus in the dining room would raise the level of the experience. I've had better experiences elsewhere, so not sure I'd return.

Most important is the warm red wine and the shift in happy hour prices to "only if we have a bottle already opened" where you only find out if you won the happy hour lottery when you get the check. My question is, if the Meiomi wasn't already opened, why wasn't it chilled? Bottom line, hoping they go back to a more hospitality vibe and focus so we can come back and enjoy the lovely atmosphere again soon.

Ironically, many of our Irish friends said that they never thought of Aspen Mills for Irish Soda Bread. Post Covid-19 Pandemic, I've put a real premium on businesses that excel, particularly, small businesses; I so wish success for Aspen Mills Bakery. The staff in the Palm Desert bakery are consistently kind and friendly. The bakery is immaculate (it's inside Clark's).
