100/5. I am a pretty tough critic with food and especially matcha. This is the best matcha in the desert. They use ceremonial grade and it is amazing. Just about everyone in line orders a matcha. The breakfast burrito with avocado was perfect as well. Service 10/10, so kind. Ambiance is 10/10 too especially on a Sunday with the fair happening. If you like matcha and great food it is a MUST! read more

My husband and I loved this place. My fellow Yelpers never disappoint. It's in downtown La Quinta where the staff are friendly and the service is quick. We came right after a night of work and there was less than a 5 minute wait. It's one of those places where you order at the register, hand you a number and bring your meal to you. The presentation of my avocado toast was not only appealing but tasty. I enjoyed my huckleberry scone and my husband loved his breakfast burrito. They made our mimosas the way we like it; with a hint of OJ. The area is super cute and quaint. If I didn't live in the LA county, I would be a regular here. First off, we arrived while they were getting ready to close and on a slow day. Without hesitation they took our order, offered to go box but welcomed us to eat inside. Without hesitation they served us all on to dine in instead and said they wanted to give us the full experience. All staff so sweet and kind. Cafe was clean and very well kept. This is a great spot! La Quinta doesn't have a lot of high quality coffee, but this place has both delicious coffee as well as good food. Indoor and outdoor seating options, as well as great location in old town if you want to walk around. BONUS: I'm always looking for good scones, but I'm usually disappointed because they are so dry. I was in Indian Wells for a night and looked up the best brunch places in the area -- I'm so happy we decided on "Yes, Please." The location in Old Town La Quinta is ADORABLE, the food is PHENOMENAL (my sister said the buttermilk biscuit was better than our Tennessee grandma's), and the staff is EXCELLENT. Since you asked me to change my rating, I will because I do still love Yes Please but I still stand by that people do need to know that you guys unfortunately sell out of almost all your biscuits and scones and other pastries by 9am (when I have been there lots of times). I'm just giving my review that if you make more, I know a lot of people would be less frustrated when they get there and everything is sold out. We love it a lot and want to keep coming but it's starting to frustrate our family and friends when we come back empty handed multiples times in one week. But I'm glad to know we can order the day before. We will try that. We are so excited to be a member of the Old Town community in beautiful La Quinta. Our menu is in the middle of changing for the season but not to worry, we have kept the favorites like our Breakfast Hash and our Hollandaise that is served with our popular, very flaky house-made buttermilk biscuits. YAY Please come in and try our new huckleberry scones, warmed up and drizzled with a citrus icing. Have that with a nice hot latte made with Joshua Tree coffee and let us know what else you'd like to see on the menu.

What began as play as a child has become an actual dream come true. In my youth I played restaurant and as a second career in my twenties, I attended the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and enjoyed a well-round career in the hospitality and food service industry. From a 5 star 5 diamond hotels and high end dining, commercial food research and recipe development for national companies and most recently, owning and operating a custom cake, dessert and catering business in the South Bay and Beach Cities in Los Angeles. In hind site it is waaaaaay more than coffee and I want to come back for a meal. Took my mom and my wife here after lunch for a coffee and dessert, they sat us in the "Harry Potter" table and that was a nice treat. My mom got some elaborate pistachio iced latte and it was a really nice treat, especially in the heat. I got the tuxedo cold brew and that was also a great afternoon treat drink in the heat. My wife went with traditional coffee and it came in a side pot and was also really good. I ordered the cinnamon twist to enjoy with the coffee and expected a simple twist. This came warm and sticky with wallops of whip cream and was really and amazing dessert. After sharing that we went with the suggestion of the waitress and got something that had peaches and strawberries and was heaven on a plate. Im not even sure what it was but by then realized that everything here was excellent. My only regret is we came after lunch and now wish would have came here for lunch too. Next time I want to try the meals. The staff all worked well together and ran the place well with great energy and very helpful. As I get a bit older adding "clean bathrooms" is getting more important and they take good care of those rooms too. If your in the area know they have EXCELLENT coffee and much MUCH more.

We will stop here sometime soon, and again on our AZ-CA CA-AZ adventures.

I have dined regularly at Yes Please since it opened, and I LOVE the food! The breakfast choices are amazing. If I am hungry, I get the Eggs Hollandaise on a house made biscuit, which is crazy good! The best I have ever had, bar none. I also love the breakfast burrito; it is by far the best I have had in the Coachella Valley! When I just want a cup of coffee and a pastry, there is no better place to go. The Joshua Tree coffee is perfect. I take advantage of the free refills when I dine in. The scones are the best on the planet, never have I ever tasted one as good as these. The croissants and pain au chocolat are house made and so delicious. I am usually a black coffee kind of guy but I have tried a lot of their specialty coffee drinks and they are always super tasty. My personal favorite is the Iced Horchata Latte, but they are all really good. I often come in for lunch and love the options. I don't know where to get a Banh Mi sandwich in the valley other than here. They do a fantastic job with theirs; I have ordered it many times. I also love the tuna salad sandwich on a croissant with avocado, but frankly all of the options are outstanding. At this point I believe I have tried everything on the menu and LOVE it all. The patio is well shaded, with fans and misters so it has been comfortable dining outside even during the heat. What I really love is the service and atmosphere at the cafe. They are dog friendly! I often bring my dogs and when I do the staff quickly brings out a bowl of water for my girls. The servers are always friendly and attentive. The deserts are off the charts crazy good. Cookies, cakes, 7-layer bars, and all of the other treats are house made and insanely delicious. I waited over 30 minutes in line under the scorching 90+ degree heat just to order a single matcha latte. When I finally reached the front, I was told it would take an additional 20 minutes just to make the drink -- a total of nearly 50 minutes for a single item. I completely understand and appreciate when a spot is busy -- that's often a good sign. But when the line is that long, especially outdoors in extreme heat, there should be some effort from staff to inform customers about wait times or potential delays in advance. Unfortunately, there was little to no communication, and staff seemed disengaged and uninterested in helping manage expectations. As someone who's lived in the desert for years, I get that festival crowds like Coachella can be overwhelming. Still, it felt like a missed opportunity for the business to provide even minimal hospitality or customer care during a hectic time. I'm not asking for miracles -- just some basic acknowledgment and communication to make the experience a little more bearable. read more

I had the pleasure of trying out Yes Please, in Old Town La Quinta, a charming modern trendy and small sandwich cafe right in the heart of Old La Quinta. During my visit, I decided to sample their Tuna Salad Wrap and their Avocado Toast, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only were both dishes reasonably priced, but the quality of the ingredients truly stood out. I devoured both meals in one go - I was exceptionally hungry that day and running on empty. It's worth noting that in many retirement areas, including this one, there tends to be a noticeable lack of salt in the dishes. While it's true that many people over 65 are on low-sodium diets for health reasons, it's essential to strike the right balance. Overdoing salt can be problematic, but going completely salt-free isn't necessarily the answer either. read more

What a rich and creative atmosphere. Very clean crisp eating area. I had the Eggs Hollandaise with eggs, out of this world! Ingredients are a hidden treasure. They are normally made by using a muffin but Gina the owner who, by the way has a sweet heart, uses a biscuit to build upon and the rest is a treasure chest full of herbs, spices and a avocado to give it that California flair. This was the only item I ate so far, can't wait for Lunch! It's a little pricey but I will cook at home for a week and indulge myself at the end of the week at this end of the rainbow boutique restaurant! At over 16 dollars for a sandwich, that's unacceptable. What's crazy is this is not complicated. Anyone running a restaurant should know the difference between good and bad bread. Putting something like that out just shows nobody is paying attention or nobody cares. Super disappointing. I would not go back and I would not recommend it.

We shared the sampler and it was enough to tie the 5 of us over for a couple hours for dinner. You cannot miss the marketplace. It is to the right of the check in area and near the Mexican outdoor seating. Plenty of seats available outdoors and al Fresca.

It would seem like the place has been quite successful. The owners recently announced they are planning to open a second location in Palm Desert. BUT, I just learned recently that Les Filles charges higher pricing than their posted prices if the customer uses a credit card AND rather than break out those additional prices on the receipt, the upcharge is automatically included in the item price. Not sure why they do this but the I experience that practice to be deceptive. I am not excited to go back to Les Filles or recommend it to others. Buyer beware!!!

The baristas were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They greeted everyone with a smile and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. You don't see that kind of hospitality very often anymore. The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were just as impressive. We tried the Honey Cake and the Bird's Milk cake, and both were fresh, rich, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they don't cut corners when it comes to quality. As an Armenian, I left with an even bigger smile knowing this place is Armenian-owned. It honestly made me proud to see a local business representing our culture with so much class, warmth, and professionalism. It's a beautiful reflection of Armenian hospitality.
