Because gluten-free rolls are smaller than their regular rolls--which are huge--they put as much cheesesteak as would fit on my sandwich and served the rest in a small bowl on the side. That way, my portion wasn't smaller just because I needed the gluten-free option. I really appreciated this thoughtful touch. At most restaurants, the gluten-free version is smaller even though I'm paying the same price--or sometimes paying extra for the gluten-free bread. Not here! It was wonderful to feel like I received the same generous portion as everyone else. I will definitely be back!

That's what I was going to order so I left. I recently gave them another shot and what a regret that was. Came in and the owners and their entire family were there ripping bags of chips, using foul language, talking about personal subjects not appropriate for a restaurant, etc. I felt like I was in their living room rather than a restaurant. Also, one of them kept on going in and out of the front door every 1-2 minutes wearing a hoody in a way that made me nervous like I need to keep a watchful eye. He was constantly engaging with all the "off" street people and even invited a homeless person inside to go through the garbage to collect recycling. All the while the owners are all there, chilling with their family, and not really caring about cultivating a comfortable environment for their dine in customers, I had enough. To add insult to injury, they got our order wrong. I got up, left, and will NEVER come back again. The worst dining experience of my life

Absolutely rude of them to be that good. The cucumber salad was there to make us feel like responsible adults for approximately four bites before we went back to the sandwiches. My daughter has apparently been sneaking off to this place her ENTIRE time at school here and said NOTHING. Not one word. Total gatekeeping. I was excited for this one, but it ended up being way too salty. The Porker was definitely the standout. Every bite was flavorful, and the sauce was really good. I'd recommend this one.
