We sat outside on the patio, which offered a fantastic fall vibe with the turning leaves and people strolling by enjoying the weather. We started with the Dirty Fries dusted with Cajun spice, which were decent, though fairly average. For entrees, my wife ordered the Savannah Style Shrimp and Grits, which were rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. I had the Shrimp and Scallops, and it was easily one of the best-looking dishes ever set down in front of me--it looked straight off a magazine cover. More importantly, it tasted just as good as it looked, with both the shrimp and scallops cooked to perfection and boasting great sear marks. Having never tried okra before, we also ordered a side of Garlic Okra out of curiosity and were pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was. Our server, Deyan, delivered 6-star service from start to finish. If you're anywhere near the area, Juniper on Main is an absolute must-try

The booths aren't the most comfortable, but the overall atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. The $5 Coronas are a great deal, and my go-to order is the Juicy Special. It has a little kick to it, so if you're sensitive to spice, keep that in mind--but I think the flavor is worth it. I especially loved the lobster, sausage, black mussels, and frog legs. Everything was flavorful, and the seafood was delicious. There are some good deals on the menu if you're looking to keep the cost down. However, if you're dining with your partner and both of you order lobster or other premium seafood, plan on spending around $100 or more. For me, it's worth it for a nice seafood dinner. Don't worry if cracking the seafood seems intimidating--they provide scissors and seafood tools at the table to make it much easier. And don't forget to put on the plastic gloves and apron before you dig in, because things can definitely get messy! If you're looking for a casual spot with a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy great seafood and actually have a conversation, Juicy Seafood in Castleton is definitely worth a visit.

It took some time for us all to order and start getting our drinks. However, the food started coming out pretty quickly. I ordered the Plant Power with cajun seasoning at the medium spice level with a side of boiled eggs. It was so delicious! It came out piping hot and covered in seasoning. The plant power comes with a generous amount of corn, boiled potatoes, and broccoli. The boiled eggs were overcooked, though, and they were too hot to eat for awhile, though. They burned my fingers! I loved the flavor and didn't think it was spicy at all, though. I was worried that the veggie plate would be underwhelming in comparison to the seafood boils that everyone else ordered but I think I actually enjoyed it the most lol Since they knew we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, they gave a gift card for $15 off his next visit. They also have a neon lit birthday sign and our server lead us in singing the Birthday song -- if you don't like that kind of attention, don't tell them lol

At the door we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. When we said outside, the hosts squabbled with each other in front us about where to seat us. We were sat and waited about 5 minutes before we saw our waitress. When it was mentioned it was my girlfriend's birthday, it wasn't even acknowledged. But, we ordered and then waited....the food came 50 minutes later, with the lesson just about to start. We had also mentioned we were there to dance. When we asked if we could maybe move inside so our guests could see the lesson before dancing, they instead offered to put the food under lamps. We opted to eat it as we had waited so long for it. Before my meal had come I had finished my water, but the waitress was nowhere to be found to bring more water. When she finally did show and we asked for more, she seemed annoyed and brought two pitchers to leave with the table. The food itself was ok. I tried my girlfriend's dish and it was admittedly pretty good, while mine was just ok. That could be a personal preference thing. Given the poor service, prices, and the fact that regardless of service, they automatically charge all tables 20% gratuity, I don't think we'll be eating there again.
