We visited Yardbird in Washington DC the first time. We knew going to Dallas for the long weekend we would absolutely be visiting the Dallas restaurant. Is it a bit pricey, yes but we don't splurge like that often, so worth it to us. The food did not disappoint, I had the Nashville hot chicken. Extremely tasty! We also tried the monkey bread, so good. However, our server Mac made everything better than it already was. She was great! An amazing waitress and an all around nice person! We will absolutely visit again and will certainly ask for Mac!

Overall: 3.6/5 [dine in] We had a party of 9 for Sunday lunch and the service was a bit slow with the food taking a while to come out. The place is beautiful though and was giving elevated casual vibes. Lewellyn's Fine Fried Chicken ($40): Comes with half a bird, mashed potatoes, and a side salad. We swapped the mashed potatoes for crispy brussels. They weren't very crispy but had a generous amount of spiced honey glaze that made them sweet and yummy. The side salad was good. The fried chicken itself was just okay though. There was a lot of meat, and it wasn't dry but the flavors were lacking and the skin wasn't as crispy as I was hoping. I ended up eating mine with a lot of hot sauce. Deviled Eggs with Jalapeno and Bacon Jam ($18): Pretty average. The bacon jam leaned too sweet and overpowered the eggs so you lost any savory flavor. Smoked Sausage ($9): A huge sausage link cut in half with incredible flavor. My friend let me try her sharp cheddar waffle and it wasn't bad but just too subtle for me. It did taste better after air frying it since it crisped up on the outside. Yardbird Hashbrowns ($10): A bit pricey but worth trying at least once. Two thick slabs of hashbrowns that were super crispy and looked and tasted completely different from your typical hashbrowns. Perfectly seasoned too. The dipping sauce was the only miss since it just didn't complement them well. My husband and I shared, and the food was very filling so we had leftovers.

Met some friends here for brunch while we were all visiting Dallas. Like many places in this area (Arts district, near downtown district, Deep Ellum), parking can be tricky. If you look closely, there is a sign on Pearl Street to a parking garage for the businesses in these buildings (Perrys, la Madeline, Yardbird). Take a ticket and head down to level B2 to park. Bring your ticket with you so that it can be validated by your server. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully warm and elegant. We started off with the skillet cornbread. It was corn kernels and jalapenos in it, topped with some whipped butter. The portion size of the chicken and waffles is definitely meant to be shared (or for someone who is extremely hungry). It's half a chicken (4 fried pieces) and a full-size waffle -- comes with a watermelon feta salad. The shrimp and grits were extra buttery and topped with a fried egg. The crispy brussel sprouts have a hint of sweetness and smoky char flavor. And the creme brulee waffles are 4 mini waffles, topped with a custardy filling and a torched sugar topping. It was surprisingly not overly sweet as we expected.

This was a top spot truly enjoyed our brunch experience. OMG the food was delicious and the service was also awesome. I will remind you that this is a little expensive so if you come here, be prepared to drop some big dollars. I think we had three people in our party two adults one child and our bill came up to $300. However, the food was all well worth it and this is a great treat and the portions are very large and fulfilling enough to take home so overall top-notch you can't go wrong here.

Yardbird is situated in the heart of Dallas, within walking distance of some of Dallas' main attractions. We stopped in for a brunch and were pleasantly greeted by the host. The interior is spacious, fun, and modern, with a fantastic looking bar. Our server explained their specialties and frequently stopped by to check on us and fill our water. We started either the biscuit donut bites, which were generously dusted with cinnamon sugar and had a fantastic chocolate dipping sauce! My fave plate was the server rec of chicken biscuit sliders. The biscuit is delicious, fluffy, and moist. The chicken was AMAZING!! Super juicy with a great flavor. The brine in the chicken was fantastic. Fries were hit and perfectly crispy as well!

Gravy Train Biscuit Sandwich

We went for Sunday brunch due to a recommendation from a family member. Apparently, it was a very off day. 1)We asked to sit inside since it was hot outside. After being sat, we commented how stuffy it was...later we we told it was due to broken air conditioner which had been an issue the last couple of days. 2)It took a bit of time for our coffee and they didn't bring gingerbread snaps with coffee (would not have known this if I hadn't been told about it from someone who had been there). 3).staff informed us the crème brûlée waffles were delayed as they had to Re-set" them 4) again...asked for coffee several times but did not get it from our server 5). We ordered 2 of chicken and biscuits, (one with scrambled eggs other was sunny side up), we received one with the scrambled eggs other and an incorrect breakfast sandwich 6. We sent back sandwich and got the other chicken and biscuit with egg cooked incorrectly. Gravy was heavily salted on both 7. Again, refills on coffee were not provided even after requesting. So, what went right... 1). Chicken was crispy and great 2) crème Brûlée waffles were decadent 3) shrimp & Grits great gluten free option 4). Didn't have the lobster Mac & cheese but table next to us said it was good and great presentation 5). Coffee was good when we got it and little ginger snaps were tasty 6.). Manager met with us when we asked to speak to her, she was pleasant and comp'd one meal and gave us a coupon for 15% off our next visit It's a bit pricey but I'm willing to give it another try. Nice ambiance jut too hot.

Stopped in again with my son today for lunch. Like always the place has an amazing ambiance great for a date or girls night out. For lunch there plenty of seating and no reservation is needed. We were greeted by our server almost rapidly and he quickly brought out water. Not long after placing our order or lunch entrees came out and was so enjoyable. Tons of flavor and very easy to consume most of the food in a matter of minutes. Lol. It's just so good. Can't wait to get in here again.

I stopped by Yardbirds yesterday after going to the Big3 basketball event downtown with friends. The ambiance at Yardbirds is amazing. It's a southern upscale vibe. Our server was attentive and on point. We started out with a cool nonalcoholic beverage on a hot summer afternoon, the Passion Fruit Breeze. It was the perfect blend of passion fruit with a hint of basil and lemon and topped off with ginger ale. We decided to share family style rotisserie chicken, hot chicken, green, Mac and cheese and deviled eggs. The hot chicken was the best. It really wasn't too spicy but had a nice flavor. I really wasn't sure about the rotisserie chicken after seeing it, but it was actually tasty. It's not as good as the hot chicken but it is good. The rotisserie chicken comes with blackened green beans. Those green beans were delicious. They were spicy but not too spicy and very delightful. The greens were the best side. The Mac and cheese was basic and I would not order it again. The deviled eggs were ok. Overall Yardbird is still a great option and go on open table to book reservations.

Delicious food. Amazing happy hour. Nice patio. Great location. What more do you want?!? I stopped by here for happy hour with a friend and we had a great experience. Their happy hour deals are actually legit! I loved their cocktails and that they don't skimp on the fancy ice or barware just bc it's during happy hour. Their food is actually tasty and the patio is set up nicely for some good people watching. The location is also super close to downtown, uptown, and Klyde Warren park so it makes for a great meeting point before / after events. The old fashioned was tasty and the popcorn shrimp and wings are can't miss items. Highly recommend yardbird and it does not give off chain vibes (I've been to another location in Miami and they have one in Addison also I believe).

I hadn't been to this location in years, and it didn't disappoint now that I've returned. Food was good- chicken and waffles: better than the average find around town; greens: very tasty; mac and cheese: ehh, not bad, but not my fave; biscuits: delicious with the apple jam as always. (I've been to the Vegas location more than the Dallas location) The server was nice and attentive. I'll visit again sooner than later.

I came here with friends for brunch on Sat am. Our sever, Andre, was great. My friends were a bit obnoxious and asked a thousand questions but he remained patient and friendly. The food was decent. I really liked the chicken biscuits. The fried green tomato sliders were pretty good. I'm not sure how I feel about coming back here, but I am glad I tried it out.

He literally told me, "If a drop of rain comes, then I'll give it to you." It had rained for much of the day, and multiple customers were asking about the same promotion. If the requirement is that rain must physically be falling while you order, that needs to be clearly stated in the advertisement. Otherwise, the promotion feels misleading. I've been to Parliament several times and have never had a bartender interpret the rainy-day happy hour this way. I ended up ordering a smoked Old Fashioned from another bartender I've had before, and it was great. He was friendly, engaging, had great energy, and even did tricks while making the drink. I still enjoyed my cocktail, but it would've been nice to have the option to order from the happy-hour menu as advertised that day. I'm including the Instagram post for reference. I'm very disappointed as I've never not had a good time at Parliament. I really think that the owner should look at the Times stamps around 930 to 10:15pm part night and see the difference of business and traffic flow from when the taller bartender with the glasses versus the shorter Bartender with the glasses was at the front as it was instantly more business. Oh and lastly, I left my Betsy JOHNSON purple umbrella. I'm so sad and they don't have a number to call.

We checked in with the host and were quoted a 30-minute wait, which ultimately turned into 45 minutes. That said, once we were seated, the food came out pretty quickly. The Fried Brie is always a 10/10! The blueberry compote pairs beautifully with the brie, and I love that it's served with sliced baguette on the side. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe with added shrimp, while my husband went with the Bowen Cheeseburger. Unfortunately, the shrimp was extremely salty. I love a well-seasoned dish, but there's a difference between flavorful and overly salty. The seasoning completely overpowered the shrimp, so I ended up picking it off and enjoying the pasta on its own. The Bowen Cheeseburger was excellent, as always. Just keep in mind that you can't request it medium-rare since it's a smashburger. For dessert, I ordered a slice of cheesecake, which comes with the same blueberry compote served with the Fried Brie. It was delicious and earned a solid 9/10 from me! Overall, the food was great, as usual. Aside from the overly salty shrimp and the longer-than-quoted wait, we enjoyed our visit. I'd absolutely come back, especially for that Fried Brie!
