I've eaten here twice, and left pretty satisfied both times. The first time I ate here, I ordered the poke nachos which were definitely tasty! Instead of regular tortilla chips, the nachos were made with crispy wontons cut into triangular shapes. Definitely get this if you like sushi grade tuna! The second time I dined here, I ordered the firecracker wings with a side Caesar. While it could've used a tad more dressing, the Caesar was good. The firecracker wings were also good, tossed in some sort of Asian-inspired sauce. This is an appetizer dish and came with 10 pieces, so I was pleasantly surprised with the portion, as this was my main course. YardHouse is also known for its variety of beers and drinks (duh), and they even have a nightly happy hour during the week. Happy Hour with co-workers...2nd time we've had it here and I'm really not sure why we keep having it here. There is nothing special about this place. I arrived around 4-430pm and they were already seated, the waitress, Amy was prompt in asking for my drink order but I hadn't had a chance to look at the menu yet. I ended up ordering a pomegranate mojito which was tasty, very sweet. Almost kool-aid like but perfect, just the way I like an alcoholic beverage. Our waitress left for the day so our new waitress was Josslyn, who was friendly as well. I also ordered the fried mac& cheese which is a new item on their menu. It took about 30 minutes to come out and featured two sauces and I didn't like either so I asked for marinara sauce to which I was told "we have pizza sauce." They weren't ball shaped but rectangular and huge which I also didn't like. The flavor was lacking but the crunch was nice. Seemed like they just threw some noodles and cheese together and hoped it worked. I also got the dessert trio which featured creme brulee, a peach apple pie like thing and a chocolate like souffle. The very first time I went to Yard House I did not care for the food. It was extremely bland/no seasoning. I finally decided to give it another chance and it is much better now. My co-workers would go for happy hour and to do their going-away or retirement parties. My friends and I go here pretty often now. Nice ambiance and music. I cannot count how many times I have been here now. I do enjoy most of the food appetizer and entrees. Those Poke Nachos are delicious. Ahi tuna with the spicy kick. WOW! Love them! I'm late with this review! My first visit was in April and my server was Lorenzo! He was amazing!! The ambience, the music, the food was great. There are options on the menu for everyone! I ordered the Pepper Jack burger was amazing. I ordered it medium well and it was slightly over that but the flavor was there! There were so many layers of flavor, from the burger to the jalapeños to the pepper jack cheese and the aioli! Every single bite had me crying out in disbelief that it was that delicious! The fries were cool too. I recommend trying the flight with either the house beers or the more pricey flight where you choose your beers. Why this place won't except reservations is beyond me. No one, myself included, want to see a party of eight or 10 with a bunch of little kids whining and screaming because they have to wait an hour to be seated. Then once you are seated, the service sucks. We tried this location because the food was fairly good at a different location but the service and the wait time was awful. Sadly, this location has the exact same experience. The food isn't bad but the wait time and the service literally sucks! I'm sorry, but this chain is so poorly run at every location. Super crowded on a Sunday night. Really cool environment with outdoors seating and plenty of bar space with TVs decked out in each corner and around the bar. Menu was extensive and sounded delicious but maybe i should have known better in ordering a crab cake. It was a waste of $27. Flavorless and not made well whatsoever. The potato things on the side were burnt, not sure if this was on purpose or not. It was 4-5 actual potato pieces and then just burnt crisps & shreds of skin. Usually only go to Springfield Towne Center to shop at Yankee Candle, but decided to try the Yard House since they have so many beers on tap. Consensus after eating here was go here for the beers. Although the Manager was very accommodating when my lobster angolotti came to me at room temp. He had the kitchen make a whole new dish and it came out super hot. The sauce could've had a deeper lobster flavor though. The pasta itself was lovely. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken with traditional pickles and hot honey sauce. Was disappointed that it wasn't bone in chicken, but boneless chicken breasts. The chicken was a tad bit on the dry side, but was saved by the hot honey sauce. First time reviewing despite coming here multiple times over the years. Came here during MNF happy hour where they have 1/2 price off certain apps and all pizzas until the final play as well as $2 off drafts until 9PM which explains why it took 35-45 minutes for us to get seated. Our waitress was super friendly and let us get one round in before the drafts went back to regular price. Unfortunately there were a lot of drafts that were gone by then but we were still able to find something. We also ordered chicken nachos, a carnivore pizza, boneless wings, and calamari. The food came out pretty quick and was better than I was expecting. Seemed better than the microwave food bars at least. Love the beer selection here and the food isn't too bad either. My sister ordered the Sesame Chicken and Noodles but it came out with one shrimp on top. The dish isn't suppose to come with shrimp and my sister's allergic to them. The servers immediately took the dish back and made my sister a new one in about 10 minutes. They also offered her a complementary soup or salad while she waited for her meal. When the new dish came back it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fantastic and the noodles were cooked very well. In honor of my brother's birthday, he got their House Honey Beer and a Peach Cobbler with caramel for free. The House Honey Beer was really really good and the Peach Cobbler was amazing! My friend had had a good experience here in the past, so he chose to have all of us gather here for his birthday dinner. His wife made reservations for 12 of us the Wednesday before (the reservations were for a Saturday). Some of us showed up before the birthday boy about 15 minutes earlier than the reservation time. Luckily, they had open space to accommodate our large party anyway, and since we'd arrived earlier than the supposed reservation, our seats were ready by the time birthday boy arrived. Our server was friendly, but we went large spans of time without seeing him, and couldn't tell if it was because they were busy or not. The menu, while it sounds nice, is all over the place. You can get a Cuban sandwich, Wisconsin cheese curds, AND pork lumpia (soy white truffle sauce? My aunties would be shaking their heads.) all in the same menu? The cheese curds and pretzel appetizers tasted fine, but my husband wasn't in love with his Cuban sandwich. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, but they brought it to me with fake chicken. It tasted fine I guess, but it wasn't what I wanted. They brought my friend the wrong kind of salad, and like me, she didn't want to bother having them change it. When it came time to settle the bill, we requested split checks at the beginning of the meal. Many of us had the wrong things on our tabs. I had another person's beer on my tab (and I don't drink beer so I know for sure not mine). It was honestly easier to have them Venmo me the difference than to have the server fix it. Came here with a large group (10) on Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. The appetizers were pretty good (2 poke nachos and 2 wings with different sauces for the table), and I think everyone really enjoyed their food. One of our table got the Beyond Burger and it didn't come out with the tomato, but our server (blonde woman, wish I caught her name) quickly brought it out and even offered to remake the burger for her which we declined despite the thoughtful offer. I got the large mac and cheese and thought it was a bit strange because the menu lists the large as being ~800 more calories than the small, but my serving size was definitely the same as another person in my group that got the smaller size. That being said, the dish is super heavy regardless so I'd recommend just getting the smaller size since it'll fill you up anyways for a cheaper price. Lastly, I would just like to reiterate how good our server was. She checked in constantly and consistently to make sure everyone was happy, dishes were cleared, and drinks were refilled. Man, this place has a consistent crowd! Early on a Friday afternoon we scooped up a pair of bar seats! The 3 stars are for the awesome staff! The greeters are always friendly! Our bar server was great! She was always checking on us! The food quality has actually gone downhill in my opinion. Last night we started with the Moo Shu Eggrolls(chicken breast and yummy veggies!). They actually came out pretty quick! Anddddddd is this why the inside of the egg roll was COLD. The chicken was already cooked but the egg roll was COLD. Finally, Springfield got something good! There aren't too many places to grab a drink here. It's not even just for drinks, they are a full out restaurant with plenty of beers to try a flight with. The food here isn't just your typical bar food, it actually all tastes good and they have healthy choices with meat alternatives for the health conscious. I love their happy hours, both right after work and super late at night, which are perfect for killing time before the movies next door. There really isn't a bad thing about this place, the ambiance is perfect and the service is great. People love it so much and can get a little packed so you may want to get there early for good seats. I love just about everything on the menu and I've been here plenty of times, but I'll post these two pictures of food that I recently had and loved.
