My hubby and I had lunch here on a hot Tuesday afternoon in June. We were nicely greeted and sat near the bar. The manager took care of us and took our drinks and food orders. Our first dish that we ordered was chicken nachos and it was huge in size. Next our waiter came and dropped off our drinks. I was so full from eating the nachos that I didn't have room to finish half roast beef sandwich and fries. The service was great and I got 3 refills since the soda price $3.99 to get my money worth. 90 min Parking is not free anymore so we had to pay $4.50 for 1 hour parking. Just left the yard house and the service was not good at all. I ordered the whiskey salmon plate it was raw and under cooked. I mentioned to the waiter about how bad my food was and she said she was going to let the manager know. When the manger arrived to the table he saw the Salomon was not cooked all the way and he was going to take it to the kitchen and see what he could do for my order. However, the manger never returned to check on me or help with customer service as to reflect removing it from the order. For the prices yard house is charging uncooked and raw food. This really is a shame to see how the food and service has gone way down! BEWARE of this place. I HOPE the door closes soon if this is what type of service and food and high prices. Is being charged! Happy Hour (3-6) is what not to miss! The salad is so big that I can't finish! The garlic wings has options for sauces. Parkings are free if validated at the counter. Came here before my son's graduation today to grab a bit to eat with the family and was disappointed. It's been a while since I was last here but the menu has changed significantly. My favorite appetizers use to be the chicken lettuce wraps, however they are missing the third dipping sauce which unfortunately was my favorite. They only had the peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. Also no more Enchilada Stack which was one of my old go to entrees. Lastly the BBQ chicken salad wasn't like I remembered it, but granted that could just be me misremembering since it has been such a long time. Service left a lot to be desired as the place was empty but our food took extremely long to come out and we only had one check-in visit from our waitress, which was too bad because our glasses were like 90% ice and our drink were gone after just a couple of drinks. I came here for happy hour with my friends which lasts from 3-6 pm and it was pretty worth for the price. We ordered appetizers and a pizza since they were half off and they mostly turned out really good! My favorites were the poke nachos and the chicken lettuce wraps. The Long Beach tea was not bad, but it wasn't that strong. You could definitely taste the rum in it but it was still pretty weak. Some things I didn't like were that the calamari was a bit too breaded and didn't have a good texture, the poke nachos didn't have much fish, the onion rings were pretty mediocre, and the bread for the spinach dip was kinda bland. I've always ordered from the brea location and have never had a problem before. This is my first time coming to the Pasadena location and I will never be back. $14 is not worth what I was given. My husband and I ventured into Yard House for a low key date night after a day of being tourist in LA. The greeters were warm and welcoming. They offered us seating. We mentioned that we preferred booths and they gladly put us on a waitlist and provided us with temporary seating at the front. The manager approached us and gave us contradicting info, removed us from our seating, and extended our wait time. At this point we wanted to leave but it was late and nothing else was open. We were disappointed with the service of the manager. Our waiter was great! Super helpful with our menu. He provided drink options and offered to return a drink that we didn't like. I can't quite place why I enjoyed my experience at Yard House so much, but I had a great time! Nothing was especially above and beyond, but everything was great nonetheless. My fiancée and I came around 5pm in order to catch the last part of their happy hour. They have some pretty great deals, especially on drinks. I wasn't planning of getting a drink, but after seeing their extensive list of beers and $4 off half yards, I said screw it and got a half yard of a local brew. It was huge! Very fun presentation lol. I enjoyed it all. We also ordered their onion ring tower (happy hour pricing), the pretzel, traditional caesar salad with chicken, and two Baja cod tacos. It was a lot of food, but all of it was good! I really enjoyed the onion rings, and the pretzel complemented the beer perfectly. My one gripe would be that the red salsa on the tacos tasted more like marinara sauce than salsa to me. Not a deal breaker, but a little weird. Had a quick lunch at this location for the first time post pandemic. It was spacious and not crowded, and service was good. Our waitress Sammi was friendly and the meal came out a little slower than expected. We ordered sandwiches and later the brookie dessert. The four cheese dip was really good-warm and cheesy-highly recommend. The house cheesesteak was OK. Hardly any melted white cheddar and the diced ribs were a little dry, but flavor wise, it was Ok. The turkey club was alright and the truffle fries were a good accompaniment. The brookie was not warm, so we couldn't distinguish the cookie flavor from the brownie. Anyway, after we pay for our order and leave a generous tip, we head over to the bar to grab one last shot to go., the short bar tender w piercings, feels like one of our IDs looks fake just because one of the members id photo was taken a decade ago so obviously, it looks Different? Lol so she like wants to get a raise or something.. so she goes to her supervisor and says " Omg this does not look like real"""" so the supervisor pulls one of our members to the side AFTER we had already been served and paid for the check..and says "this doesn't feel real" lmao ok mind you ...we had already been served, ate , got more than 4 alcohol drinks ,everything ..but this Lil bar tender Lil lady decides the Id "doesn't look real" SO the supervisor denied our friend a drink at the bar lol. Watching people drink the half yard made it look difficult, so I would recommend the medium. So this was my first time visiting Yard House, staff was really nice from the point that we were checked in to the point that we paid. Our server was friendly and our orders were correct. The food itself was a little underwhelming. I ordered a steak with some broccoli on the side. The steak itself tasted like it was dipped in butter. Only flavor that radiated was salt. The broccoli also tasted like it had been dipped in butter. Ambiance is fine, they have a lot of TVs which are great for watching games. TBH probably wouldn't visit again because of the food. I came here Friday night around 10pm. There were no available booths, so my party opted to be seated at the table. Service was very slow in the beginning. I waited about 10 minutes before someone came over to get our drink order. After this, the waitress came over frequently to refill water. I got the roast beef dip with sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. It's $1 more for sweet potato fries. They gave generous amount of roast beef and plenty of au jus sauce. I also ordered a cup of tortilla soup. It was awful. It wasn't close to a tortilla soup. It was creamy and very salty. It was not worth $3.95. There's plenty of underground parking. Soo, I've been coming here for years, for my birthday with large parties, and occasionally with my girlfriend, but it holds a close place to my heart because it was me and hers first date. From appetizers to full meals to items al la Carte as well. The big plus aside from the food is the numerous options of beer that's on draft & at your disposal. Service here is mainly the only chink in the amor. You never truly know what you're going to get. Sometimes, I get outstanding service and others my server/bartender seems like they hate their job. On this occasion our server was really nice. She was helpful & came to help us when needed. Ive eaten a ton of the menu items from yardhouse overall but this time got some apps and wings because we were on a timed schedule. Not pictured started out with the tomato bisque, which i LOVE! Creamy, and silky soup that taste amazing. Pro tip- add some fresh cracked pepper for a nice touch. (Ate it too fast for a photo haha) what is pictured is the poke nachos for starters. Fresh cubed ahi tuna, crispy wonton chips, cut nori, thiny sliced Serrano peppers, and the best truffle aloli, topped with avocado chunks. Flavor is fresh, light, bursting with umami. Second was the firecracker boneless wings but Those were okay, honestly not great. The sauce was way too sweet and thick, not really spicy at all, and could of been a thinner sauce to be a bit more enjoyable. We had a large party of daughter's graduating from Art Center in Pasadena. We ate across from the convention center which was convenient. Ordered quite a good bit of appetizers including Parmesan garlic fries and Buffalo wings and Korean chili wings (no picts here they ate before I could get a picture). Some had a burger, fish and chips, the volcano tacos, personal pizza(which my son was disappointed with because it smelled of stale sausage and he felt some of the items weren't really cooked). I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fried onion rings. The only thing was that they tried to fit 10 people into a long booth and two of us are on the larger scale. I could not understand why we weren't seated at a table near entry and easily set up. Instead after complaining they cleaned the table that was dirty from a party of 12 and sat us there.
