Hot weather but underground parking and restaurant validated we didn't have to pay $ Ordered small cobb salad $14 and fish & chips. Both were ok i really liked the fish & chips for $24 it had three long pieces and the fries were great. Giving 4 stars because we waited a bit to order etc seemed to have the weekend football crowd. Table was dirty too. Enjoyed getting out and giving patronage to the Paseo businesses.

Amazing happy hour deals! I saw so many TikToks raving about how good the happy hour deals were at Yard House! Parking was pretty easy! There's a parking lot dedicated to the big shopping plaza that Yard House is located in. They have a 90 minute free parking with validation. My group and I went around 3:30 and there were a lot of people seated and waiting for seats. Although their restaurant is pretty big, the hostess did mention that they only had 3 waiters working so a lot of sections were closed off. We were seated within 10 minutes of waiting. We browsed the happy hour menu and ordered pretty quickly after sitting down. Our food all came out one by one. It was pretty decent for the price. We ordered 3 appetizers and the total came out to be ~$35. Appetizers: Poke Nachos (7.4/10): There's a good amount of tuna fish layered on top of the nachos. I really liked the wonton chips they use for this dish since it's a lot lighter than a regular tortilla chip. There's three different types of sauce that they drizzle on top for the nachos. There's a good amount of sweetness and spice between all the sauces. I just wish there were more fish and avocados. Chicken Tenders and Fries (7/10): This one is just your average chicken tenders with fries. It came with 5 tenders and a small basket of fries. The dipping sauces included ranch and honey mustard. This wasn't the same honey mustard I was used to and it had a sour taste to it. The chicken was crispy and had good seasoning in the batter. The fries weren't that good. It was soggy and didn't have any crisp to it. Chicken Nachos (6/10): This one was a heavy on the stomach dish. There's two different types of salsa, cheese, beans, and then a scoop of guac and sour cream in the middle. They used a tortilla chip instead of wonton chips for this dish. Everything felt like a mouthful.

This was our first time at the Pasadena location. Looks like they are reviving The Paseo. We just before 5 and the place i was hopping. We had zero wait for our party of 5. This was our first time trying the happy hour menu and OH BOY! our faves was the Poke nachos, sliders, Pep pizza, wings and Brussels sprouts. The price is right but it was the service that took it over the top. Ashley and Jonah were the absolute BEST. They validate for the first 90 minutes. We're returning real soon.

Yard House Happy Hour is a go-to, but the real hack? Reserve ahead. I booked a table online while my girlfriend and I were en route, and it paid off, we walked past a growing wait, checked in, and were seated within 5 minutes. Peak efficiency. We went all in on Happy Hour: Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds, Classic Sliders with fries, and the Spinach Artichoke Dip. The lineup is clearly built for sharing, and for the price point, it delivers. The cheese curds were a standout, crispy on the outside, gooey inside, while the sliders did exactly what you want them to do. The spinach dip was solid and one of our favorites on the Happy Hour menu. From the regular menu, we added the Spicy Jambalaya and 10 Crispy Traditional Wings (Buffalo + Lemon Pepper dry rub). The wings were the better play here, crispy, flavorful, and well-sauced. The jambalaya had good heat, especially alongside everything else. Service can make or break a busy Happy Hour, and Kat absolutely held it down. She struck that perfect balance, attentive without hovering, quick with check-ins, and helpful when we had questions. It felt dialed in, which isn't always a given during peak hours. The vibe is classic Yard House: high-energy but still versatile. You've got sports fans locked into the TVs, date nights in the mix, and groups celebrating, it somehow all works without feeling chaotic. Is it groundbreaking? No. But that's not really the point. Yard House knows its lane and executes it well. If you time it right and come for Happy Hour, you're getting solid value, dependable food, and a lively atmosphere. Would I come back? For Happy Hour, easily!

midweek lunch date with an old friend

Just had a nice lunch here with a friend from out of town. I had the poke salad, and while it was tasty, it's not filling (especially for a $24 price point), so just be aware of that if you're starving like I was lol. It was on the salad menu, but saying the toppings were on a bed of lettuce would be giving the dish too much credit. It was more like a handful of lettuce underneath and that was it. My GF got the ahi salad off the salad menu and hers looked like an actual salad with plentiful lettuce. Only reason for the 4/5 is all of this! I tried one of the 7% "sour" beers on tap, not sure what to expect. I thought maybe sour meant kombucha-like aftertaste. It was KIND OF like that, but in a good way, not in a vinegar tasting way. It was actually really good, so def recommend trying a sour beer if you haven't before. It had the perf amount of sweetness. I find many cider beers to be too sweet for me, so was worried about that as well, but it was perf on sweetness level.

First time visiting the Yard House location in Pasadena with my boyfriend and it's officially our favorite. We'll absolutely be back soon! It was busy (as expected), and we waited about 20-25 minutes after checking in, which honestly wasn't bad at all. The vibes were welcoming from start to finish. Huge shoutout to our waiter TJ -- attentive, friendly, and just a great overall vibe. Service was incredible. Even after we paid, he made sure we knew we could still reach out if we needed anything. That kind of hospitality really stands out. We ordered a few items to share: truffle cheese pizza, fried calamari, Parmesan truffle fries with a side of blueberry ketchup (because I'm legit obsessed), and a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious, filling, paired nicely and the portions were solid. I was pleasantly surprised our bill wasn't higher considering how much we enjoyed everything. The Parmesan truffle fries + blueberry ketchup combo was the star of the show for me personally. Although I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the truffle cheese pizza even regardless that I'm not the biggest fan of mushrooms. It had a tasty garlicky sauce and the bread was so soft and warm. Fried calamari was decent, but some pieces were a bit chewy and salad also needed more dressing, other than that no real complaints! I also asked for some blueberry ketchup to go and TJ hooked it up with a generous container -- really appreciated that! My boyfriend ordered the House IPA and was even given a complimentary sample of the Belgian IPA, which was such a nice touch. Can't wait to come back during their happy hour deals! p.s. they do validate parking.

The Service: Sara was our server. She is awesome!! Super attentive and super patience waiting for us to order. Great customer service! The Food: They were prepared quickly. Fresh ingredients & plating nicely. I really enjoyed the grilled chicken & avocado burger. The Parking: Plaza parking structure. They validate parking, 90 minutes free. After that $1.5 every 30 minutes.

Had a good experience dining at the bar. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a crowd at the front waiting to be seated & the hostess didn't seem enthused, didn't make eye contact, was painfully slow & even tried to seat the party behind me despite me being next & standing directly in front of her. Weird. Even the other party told her I was next. So I informed her that I just wanted to sit at the bar & she said it was open seating. Thank goodness because standing there waiting & not feeling the slightest bit welcomed was unacceptable. At the bar, I was promptly greeted by Adam & ordered the sliders & fries. To my surprise, they were half off for the Happy Hour special. My order was delivered in under 10 minutes & was tasty. I'd return to this location but most likely not during the 4 o'clock hour on a Wednesday.

This review is for the service. The food was great, as per usual, and I consider Yard House to have one of the best happy hours, especially for food. My friend and I sat at the bar and we had awful service. Our server hardly ever came to check on us and we had to flag her down several times when she walked by when we wanted to order more or get a refill. She wasn't very friendly and almost seemed unhappy to help us. She never returned to close us out to where another person did since we were waiting awhile. He was really nice. Despite it being busy, we saw the others check on their customers regularly. Otherwise, the ambiance was fun for the World Cup Game!

Stopped by Yard House for lunch this afternoon and had a solid experience overall. We were greeted by the host and seated immediately, and our waitress was awesome very helpful with recommendations while we were picking out appetizers. The only thing that threw me off was when I was getting ready to pay the bill. I used the table kiosk to check my summary, and I noticed a $2.99 charge for video games. The device hadn't even been used until it was time to pay, so it was strange to see that automatically added to the total. Overall, a pretty good visit, but if you're paying on that device, make sure you check your bill to ensure everything is correct before you finish!

We were greeted with warm smiles, which made us feel welcome right away. The restaurant itself is small, cozy, and comfortable--perfect for a relaxed meal. We ordered the Tom Yum Tofu Soup, Papaya Salad, Pad See Ew with fried tofu, and Thai tea. The food was surprisingly flavorful and absolutely delicious! The Papaya Salad was fresh with a nice balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors, while the Pad See Ew was packed with flavor and had perfectly cooked noodles. The fried tofu was a great addition and complemented the dish well. The Tom Yum Tofu Soup was comforting and aromatic, and the Thai tea was a refreshing way to round out the meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and delicious food made this a spot worth returning to. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Ordered the Angry Pork because obviously I enjoy a little risk in my life. At first I was like, "oh this is mild, how polite." Five minutes later it turned into a full personality shift. That slow burn creeps up and suddenly you're sweating but committed. No regrets. THE PET dish (yes, that's actually what it's called, no I didn't question it) pumpkin, eggplant, tofu situation was ridiculously good. Super aromatic, layered, one of those dishes where you keep going back for "one more bite" like a liar. Then the vegan drumsticks. Look... why did they nail the texture like that? It gave McDonald's nugget energy in the most nostalgic, slightly concerning way. I don't know how to feel about it but I finished them, so there's that. Service was fast, efficient, not trying to be your best friend. Honestly, respect. Menu? A full novel. You will not read all of it. You will pretend to skim and then panic order. It's a fusion situation but leans Thai, and somehow it all works. Price point is definitely on the pricier vegan end, but portions are shareable so you can justify it to yourself. Also get the fresh coconut. They literally hand you a coconut with a straw like you're suddenly on vacation. Overall come hungry, bring friends, and prepare to be emotionally manipulated by how good vegan food can be.

Of course, I went in because I already know the quality of their food. I always find their noodles fresh and chewy, and the dishes are rich in texture and flavor. But this time, since I was by myself, I didn't order a noodle dish because I was just by myself. So, I ordered the beef roll, which is also to die for! Just really enjoy their food overall. If you've never tried Noodle Street before, definitely check out their menu and give their noodles a try. This particular location was clean, the staff was nice, and the wait wasn't long when I arrived. I would definitely come back again! I'd like to add one more detail. While I was waiting for my food, one of the staff members, possibly the manager, Justin, came over and asked if I'd like to have a small bowl of broth on the side. I said yes and was impressed by that offer. Why? This young man understood that I had ordered only the beef roll, which is a dry dish. Having a little warm broth on the side made it much easier and more enjoyable to eat. I had water, though, but I personally never drink water before or after my meal, so the broth was definitely a perfect complement to the beef roll. This is the first time in my Noodle Street eating history that I've been offered something simple to enhance my dining experience. A small gesture that I think is worth mentioning, as it showed that he was attentive and had very good common sense when it comes to customer service. Thumbs up to him, and an extra star from me for this location.

The french fries were super crispy and tasted great, and the same can be said for the onion rings as well. Overall, Veggie Grill by Next Level is a wonderful vegan spot to grab a meal and definitely someplace I'll be returning to in the future. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the place itself is super clean and spacious as well. Can't wait to come back!

So good!! I came here for the first time to try the DineLA menu special. I chose the bun bo hue…read more(spicy beef soup), crab and pork eggrolls, and passion fruit tea. A great casual place for pho with very quick service. A lot of people were here with friends or meeting with family. The food was all very delicious. I will say the bun bo hue was not very spicy even after I added all of the chili paste and I am usually only able to handle medium spice. I could have asked for more but it was fine because the flavor of the broth was so good as it was. Don't forget to add a little hoisin sauce, sriracha, and lime of course! The eggrolls were crispy and the crab and pork flavors didn't overpower each other. The sauce added a nice tartness. The passion fruit tea was sweet and flavorful, it is house-made. Don't expect passion fruit seeds in it as some places have though. I will most likely be back :-)

05/16/26 Saturday…read more Stopped by around 2 PM and it was quite empty so they allowed us (4) to be seated while we waited for another friend to join us. Upon entering, it felt a lot more modern and hipster than the Nha Trang in San Gabriel which feels more like a hole in the wall place. I had just gone to the Nha Trang in San Gabriel the weekend before so it was quite the shock to see all the items $2 higher. The Bun Bo Hue here doesn't include the blood cake for free like the one in San Gabriel. Instead, it costs $1.50 extra. However, they offer unlimited noodle refills here but you can't take any of it home. Do note veggie refills cost extra too. The noodles here are thicker than that in San Gabriel. They were chewy. I would say the broth seems more salty and a little less flavorful, maybe because I didn't add the chili sauce on the side. I do like that they put it on the side since I don't handle spice well. The highlight Tom Hoa Tien (shrimp and taro egg rolls). They were so crispy and fresh. The shrimp paired really well with the creamy taro. The sauce was a nice touch too though it tastes great without as well. Service was good, but I would've preferred if they offered some more napkins. Also, it was unclear if we could take home the soup (with some leftover noodles) if we got noodle refills without being charged since they mentioned we'd be charged if we take it home. In the end, we ate all the noodles just to be safe. Street parking is limited in the area. We parked in a nearby paid parking structure (Play House Parking). Overall, I much prefer the San Gabriel location.

And it's not easy to make a new family favorite - a place that appeals to multiple tastes and priorities. Great taste - amazing spices and seasoning; all the meat is tender; the curry entrees come with a heaping personal bowl of rice; the naan is excellent, flaky and fresh right out of the oven; the prices are good compared with other similar restaurants I've been to; the staff are so friendly; I like the unique Nepalese decorations; I like how the ambiance is usually chill, not too busy; and the location is very convenient - in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, walkable within all the other sights and parking structure. Some dishes our family enjoys: -Samasa Chat: I like to call this "Nepalese loaded nachos" - it's got a few triangles of fried, flaky dough (samasa), topped with a tangy, richly spiced chutney of chickpeas, diced onions, and some crunchy bits. Lots of fun textures, flavor, and a nice small/medium-sized shareable appetizer. Just fyi, there is more of the chutney than the dough triangles. So we end up eating the extra chutney with the naan :) I did like Samasa Chat as an appetizer more than Vhel Purl, just my preference.. the latter seemed saltier and I do like the fried dough pieces in the former. -Paneer Tikka Masala (ofc chicken is good/classic too) - omg this sauce. It reminds me of Italian vodka sauce bc both combine the tang and body of tomatoes with a creamy base. Whenever I order this my family members are always dipping into it during the meal :P Paneer is fun if you've never had it - it's cheese, but honestly the texture feels like firm tofu. -Lamb Tikka - comes out on a sizzling plate, and the portion of meat is pretty decent for a single serving. The lambs are cubed into these nice chunks, tender, with a ton of flavor. -Salmon Tikka - same presentation as the lamb. The salmon is super tender, less salted than the lamb, but still flavorful. We've been consistently happy here! Thank you :)

What I didn't like was the wait time. Waited over 30 minutes for the food to come out when there were only two sets of customers. The music they had on was some kind of religious chanting on repeat. It was nice at first, but it got old fast. Overall I have mixed feelings about dining here.
