This was my first time going here. We went as a party of 7 for my goddaughters inauguration lunch. We had about a 20 minute wait they text you when your table is ready. I had my count wrong of people we had so we needed a different table. Our server made sure we were moved to a bigger table. We got a few appetizers. Spinach dip (which my god daughter loved) calamari, and onion rings. Everyone seemed to enjoy. For entree I just got chicken tenders and fries because I had another dinner later but they were pretty good. One of us got steak and shrimp. She let me try it and it was delicious. Went for Happy Hour on a Tuesday and while it was pretty busy inside, the bartenders made sure I was taken care of. The chicken nachos came out fast and hot. Went here twice so far: once for a large party going away for 18 people and then happy hour for party of 3. Both of those times, the service was courteous, helpful, and effective. The music can be a little loud (for us above 30) but still good ambiance and the tables/bathrooms have always been clean. We got too much food to split between three people but everything was flavorful, came out at the right temperature, and generally tasty. We got the boneless Korean style wings, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato fries, chicken nachos, queso dip, bbq chicken pizza, and two pints of beer each. Last time, I tried the Korean tacos which were equally on point. I like this place even if it can be busy during happy hour on a Friday. We will be back ! read more

The lavender didn't have an artificial taste which I loved. To eat I ordered the poke nachos which were flavorful, but they did forget my avocado. I enjoyed the jambalaya. You can order it with spicy rice, jasmine rice or noodles. The fish sandwich I would stay away from. It wasn't bad, but it was my least favorite thing we ordered. This is really a 4.5 review. First time at this location. Sat at the bar, it wasnt full as I went around 1-2pm on a Monday. The bartenders and bar-back were friendly and were sure to check in regularly. The black orchid cocktail was fruity without being too sweet, i would definitely get that again! They were passing out complimentary chasers of a pineapple cider. It was so good i got it as my second round. Pineapple was undoubtedly present, there was a slight tang/sourness to it which i enjoyed also. For food, I thought the bacon and bleu burger could have benefitted from the freshness of lettuce/tomato, but it was cooked perfectly medium well, juicy though could have been seasoned a bit more instead of relying on the blue cheese/bacon topping. Side broccolini was good! The tacos (vampire and baja fish) i ordered on a whim stole the show. Really flavorful, fresh, and balanced. I've been to this Yard House about 4 times this year and my experiences have ranged from 5*s to 4*s to 3*s now back to 4*s. I come every other month to get my favorite dish which is the Jambalaya & my favorite cocktail, the Lavender Drop. 3 out of my 4 times here I've had great service. On 1 visit, I had something that looked like raw chicken in my jambalaya but the manager took it back to the chef who said it was kimchi (?sigh) It was comp'd and another was brought back out so because the manager resolved, I felt okay to come back again. What also varies each visit is how the Lavender Drop is made. Sometimes the bartenders will make it just right;other times it's too heavy with vodka and less lavender. It's not meant to be a sweet drink but it's also not to be saturated with straight vodka, rosemary & a square ice cube. This recent visit I came with 2 guests and we were able to be seated within 5 mins on a football Sunday. Our meals came out promptly and my appetizer of the garlic edamame was delicious. Our server was a pleasure so will be back. Side bar: please bring back the mix of r&b and pop music and blacken the jambalaya. We came to Yard House for dinner on a weekday. No wait and they gave us the option to either sit inside or outside. Gracie was our waitress. She was very attentive and when they were out of the beer that we wanted to get she gave us a great alternative for a recommendation. Very friendly service from everyone that we encountered. If you can come during their happy you must. They have great deals on both drinks and food. We got half off for our flatbread, apps, and wings. We also ordered their half yard just because how often can you order something like that?! They have a great selection on beer and there food was great for bar food. I'm here to really shout out my bartender, Bria. I am not great with deciding on drinks to get because I am very particular about sweetness and the type of liquor. So I opted for wine (I love wine). I asked to try the Pinot Grigio and she gave me a taster. I asked to try the Sauvignon Blanc because I wasn't loving it. Brea asked what I was looking for in my wine and began to share the different notes and weights of the wine and I thought that was exceptional service to receive at a sport bar atmosphere. She was also very attentive and patient with our ordering of food (which I was also indecisive about). The wine I ended up with was the KJ Chardonnay. It was crisp, bold, and refreshing. Now for the food. I ordered the sliders which were decent for what they are. My boyfriend ordered the Steak Bowl and it was AMAZING!!! I helped him finish it. I had a watermelon margarita and my friend tried one of the mules. We both really liked our drinks. My other friend said that the sweet tea was on point. We had the Ahi Tuna appetizer, the chicken nachos, lemon pepper wings, and sliders (not pictured). The nachos were so good and are definitely an entrée or shareable for the table. The wings are easily top 5 of my faves. They were a good size, crunchy, and still flavorful. A definite must try. And.....everything we ordered was half off since it was happy hour. I did not have very high expectations for a beer/restaurant mecca inside of a mall next to a casino, but I'm honestly impressed. The food was delicious, service was fast, drinks were well-poured, and the beer list was overwhelming (in a good way). We'll definitely be back. PROS: -They're used to being swamped. Well-staffed and well-oiled, it's clear that Yard House is used to the bustle of peak hours. We were passed between multiple staff members with ease, and our quoted wait times - even at peak dinner times on weekends - were less than 15 minutes. It was impressive. -The pretzel here is absolutely delicious. It was especially delicious the one time it came out piping fresh, but it was always really good and well-salted. None of us left the Yard House hungry. -Tons of beer on draft. I mean TONS. The menu itself sorts the beers by type and name, but you'll need to access their tablet to get full descriptions of the beer. It does include ABV easily referenced on the paper menu, though. This gets especially important with some of the tripels they have here. -A great variety of seating. There were some booths and some armless tables and chairs. There was a little bit of bar stool seating. They also have a covered outdoor patio which was really pleasant with nice weather (though not the most exciting to stare at a parking lot). -All the parking you could want, really. It's a mall. -Service was great every time we went. Our water glasses were rarely empty, and our servers checked in for more drinks before our drink glasses emptied out either. -Bathrooms were clean too. Even during peak hours. CONS: -Yard House uses those on-table tablets for paying your order and ordering beer. On one hand, it's pretty neat because it lets you scroll through colored photos of the beers and their descriptions. On the other, when you order a beer with your server, they simply pick up the tablet and scroll through it themselves to place your order, and it takes noticeably much longer than ordering a beer anywhere else. I liked it when my server was elsewhere and I wanted to order another drink; it felt jarring when the server was present at my table. -Not Yard House itself's fault, but the software on this tablet needs to be clearer. I would have loved to use the tablet to order a flight of beer, but as far as I can tell, the tablet only allows you to buy a full, standard glass of any beer you choose. For a restaurant that prides itself on variety, this makes flights inaccessible with the current ordering system. -Aforementioned tablet has games you can pay for on it. I'm always surprised these games aren't free; wouldn't you want people staying at their table to play and drink? read more

The restaurant is inside of the Arundel Mills outlet mall. It's really a sports bar. Quite noisy although we did go there on a Saturday afternoon. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating, and seating that actually is inside the mall like you're sitting right next to, the stores in the mall. The type of food is basic American pub style food. Nothing really stood out for me. The staff was very friendly. Our server was very patient and wasn't too overly attentive or under attentive. I could tell that the ambience was more for the younger crowd. we tried several types of food and none of it was awfully bland or bad tasting. I wasn't crazy about the cauliflower rice that came with the cilantro lime chicken. Didn't seem cooked at all just chopped up cauliflower, but the chicken though was tasty. All in all I had a good time trying something new and different. I eat there again, but there are places that offer the same type of food the same type of atmosphere at the same price point or lower. I went on a Monday night at 10 pm. I ordered an espresso Manhattan, Parm Truffle Fries, Lettuce Wraps, and the bread pudding. The Espresso Manhattan was definitely one of a kind and I enjoyed it. My Truffle fries were good but they were fried to hard and also cold. The Lettuce Wraps were great. The bread pudding was just okay. It was missing the spice. It reminded me of a croissant French toast. I ended up sending it back but keeping the ice cream. The service was great! I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. One of the best happy hour places in the area with plenty of indoor and patio seating. They are able to combine tables and accommodate large parties. Happy hour is from 3-6 PM, Monday to Friday. Not only do they have an extensive happy hour menu, but their happy hour deals are also really affordable. They have various appetizers that are half off and $2 off any beer, wine, or cocktail. The appetizers all came in really generous portions and did not disappoint. Highly recommend getting their poke nachos if you eat raw fish. Ordering was also super convenient since each table had its own tablet and the waiters came by often to check on us. I have tried all of their boneless wing flavors, and my favorite is the lemon pepper dry rub. I have found that some people sleep on the dry rub flavors because they think it will be less flavorful than the sauces. I'm here to tell you that you HAVE TO try the lemon pepper dry rub wings! Been coming to this Yard House for about four years. Usually get calamari and ahi tuna. Ordered calamari and was very disappointed. I was told they changed their supplier. A lot of batter and very small pieces. Some of the dough was under cooked. Got a replacement. However, the calamari was very small. Less than a size of a dime. A lot of dough pieces which didn't have a good flavor. Bring back the old supplier. Also, noticed the ahi tuna amount was less. I got five pieces. I've been to this Yard House a few times and they are always nice and accommodating. This time I had my partners son with me so they made sure we were where he could see baseball. The look and feel is one of a nice tap-house restaurant. Not fancy but a nice place to hang out for a decent bite and a drink. It is a little dark just in case that is the type of thing that matters to you. The little guy had the sliders appetizer which actually came with fries! I had a bite and they were very good. Not super thin so you get a good value!! I had the house salad with grilled chicken which was tasty enough but was hoping for some more greens...little lite on the amount of greens. Flavor was full though and the chicken was prepared well. The dressing I used was a vinaigrette which had a nice citrus note to it. I did have a cocktail, I went with the traditional Irish Coffee, Jameson, and whipped cream on top...prepared very well and tasted awesome! Yardhouse food is always amazing! I visited last night, and got the lemon drop martini from the bar, alongside my cousin who I finally got to try a french75 and she loved it! It was a nice time, but everyone seemed so over it and ready to go. We arrived at 9 lol, left around 945-10. Ambiance is sports bar restaurant style. The food could of been better as I think they put too much garlic in my lobster garlic noodles -- I didn't realize until I got home, since we all placed our orders Togo and just went to the bar to get drinks while we waited on our food to be prepared. Yard House is the new area hot spot. It's located at Arundel Mills and it stays packed. Today my wife and I had lunch here at around 11:30 a.m., and still the seating was limited. We've tried to come here on 3 separate occasions for dinner, but the wait is always about 45 minutes and parking near the restaurant is highly unlikely. However, I'm not docking any points from it just because its popular. This place prides itself on its wide selection of beer, and great food. In my personal opinion it did not disappoint. During our visit we had the Wisconsin Cheese Curds which were really good. Both of the sauces that came with them were delicious, and even better dipping them together. I ordered the Korean BBQ cheesesteak, it was decent but i'm all about my Korean bbq. It was a decent attempt. but I wasn't blown away. My wife enjoyed her Poke salad, and of course I had try try my hand at a 1/2 yard of beer. Overall I really liked this place. I can see why people flock to it, and to be honest I'm already planning coming back this weekend as I write this review.
