This yard house doesn't disappoint. Great friendly staff, good food, a variety of different seating options, and multiple tvs showing different sports. There was a 25 min wait when we went and they send you a text when your table is ready. We had a high top table and I loved that the chairs actually had backs to them (it's the little things for me). So many drink options and a great menu with variety for whatever you're in the mood for. We order the calamari appetizers. It was good but the calamari pieces were on the small size and breaded heavily. It was still tasty. I had the Korean tacos and substituted the rice/beans it comes with for fries. The tacos were 10/10 for me. Would order again. Fries were nice and crispy. We also order the buffalo pizza which looked delicious as well. Great portion size for individual pie. A club sandwich with sweet potato fries. Simple but good. And off the kids menu the Mac and cheese with a side of fruit. My kid devoured the Mac and cheese saying it was the best they had from a restaurant. The kids meal came with dessert. It was ice cream sundae with Oreos. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We visited on a recent Thursday evening. This location is within the mall but offers outdoor seating although I am not sure if there is a stand alone entrance. We were greeted right away and did not have a seating preference since the weather seemed a bit unpredictable. However the outdoor seating is more like open air seating with a full roof and enclosed area to enjoy your meal while avoiding direct sun, rain etc. we also felt like we were still a part of the restaurant not put in a separate area away from the crowd. We had access to sports on the TVs. Our waitress Steff was very personable and immediately identified us as mother and daughter. She was engaging and fun and checked in on us often. I started with a Woodchuck Blueberry cider and we both had water which was kept refilled throughout our meal. For appetizers we selected brussel sprouts and an onion ring tower. Those were very plentiful dishes but we continued on with entrees of sliders and fries and a crunchy ahi tuna salad. Both entrees were yummy with the onion rings tasting fresh and crisp and the Brussel sprouts crispy and flavorful. The sliders were without cheese upon the request of my daughter but are on the menu as cheeseburger sliders. They were the perfect size and the French fries were good and sampled even though we had the onion rings as well. The tuna was cooked perfectly and the crispy salad it sat on made for a great taste combination. The pace of the meal was just right and we were not rushed even after we had finished what we could eat. We left with three boxes (only finished the crispy tuna). We were greeted so pleasantly. We were seated very quickly, and it wasn't very crowded, but it was a nice amount of people. The waitress was very attentive, and the ambience was very relaxing ; a nice late night vibe. The food was pretty decent each one of us cleaned our plates! My girlfriends said that their desserts were subpar. The bread pudding tasted a bit eggy for her taste, and the Oreo brookie didn't have that much Oreos in it. This visit was especially meaningful as I brought my disabled mother for her very first time at Yard House after attending my son and daughter's four-hour graduation ceremony. Unfortunately, the experience did not go as we had hoped. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated, which was particularly difficult and uncomfortable for my mom due to her condition. Once seated, we received our beverages fairly quickly. However, it took an hour just to get our order entered due to a system surge that caused their entire ordering system to shut down. It then took another hour and a half for our food to arrive, which was extremely difficult for my mom to endure given her disability. To their credit, the food was hot and delicious when it finally came out. The manager came around to explain the situation and advised that everyone's bills would be adjusted as a courtesy. Our bill was cut in half, which we appreciated. Still, we left feeling disappointed. Yard House has always been our family's go-to restaurant, and we were excited for my mom--who rarely gets the chance to go out--to enjoy a nice meal. Unfortunately, this visit fell short in several important ways. I truly hope Yard House puts a stronger backup plan in place for situations like this in the future so guests, especially those with disabilities, aren't left in uncomfortable and stressful circumstances. read more

It has been some time since I visited Yard House. This time I thoroughly enjoyed everything ordered. I had the crispy Brussels sprouts. It had a nice crunch to it. There are peanuts on top, so be aware if you're allergic. The sauce paired with it was a great compliment. My friend ordered the calamari. She seemed to enjoy it. My entree was the spicy Jambalaya with spicy rice. It was amazing! There was a cream sauce over it that had the right amount of flavor. It wasn't spicy to me, but I am used to spicy food. Our waitress, Amanda was pleasant and thorough in explaining the offerings and checking out our bill at the end. I will say, the forks here are HUGE. It felt awkward trying to eat with them. There was a basketball game playing, so it was pretty loud in there. Nothing too crazy, just people excited about the game. Pretty good service overall, I went there around noon and there wasn't many people. Espresso martini was perfect! The cheesesteak was delicious!!! This location is located inside of the Anne Arundel Mall. It was very busy but I was seated immediately. The restaurant was dimly lit with a variety of music playing in the background. My waitress was friendly. She took my order. I decided to have the 20oz bone-in ribeye which was accompanied by mashed potatoes and broccolini. Everything tasted pretty good the steak was cooked as I requested, medium rare. My only concern was the amount of salt used for the mashed potatoes and broccolini. One of my favorite inpromtu spots to grab food. For a bar, Yard House actually has good food. The Arundel Mills location is a fun, clean, and decent location for mall goers and movie goers the like. They have healthy options for health conscious dining as well as delicious fried appetizers. I went with grilled salmon cooked medium, with a ginger glaze on the side . Huge delicious sautéed vegetables and I opted for a side salad. It was delicious. Yum.... and more yum lol My friends enjoyed their meals as well. The atmosphere can be a little loud at times but it's expected to be loud at a sports bar. Loud music, and TVs blasting, low light. Kinda gives the vibes of a lounge. My server was very accommodating and attentive. They have friendly staff and if there is ever an issue with the food , they are happy to fix issue right away. Food here is the perfect elevated American bar food. I come here for work lunch and dinner dates. Highly recommend hitting the Monday-Friday 3-6 happy hour for half price apps and pizza. I hate having to write this review lowering my stars. I think that this spot is good for small tables. Every time we go there with a larger table there is always an issue with people's food. It is definitely to be expected with larger tables. The wait was about 1.5 hours before we could get seated. There was a lot of confusion with the online reservation. Again, a long wait is expected for a large party. We ordered our drinks and food and our servers were great. We got our drinks rapidly and they were good. I ordered the mule and it was perfect. I ordered the steak bowl and asked them to make it really spicy and they definitely made it really spicy. It was really good and really filling. I love everything about it. It tasted really fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly and it was very well seasoned. I also ordered the cheesecake creme brûlée because I've never tried that before. The cheesecake had a nice flavor and texture. The sugar part was a little too burnt to me and caused it to have a very bitter flavor. Two of my friends food didn't come out even after I finished all of my food. One of them ordered a burger and when it came out the fries were cold (though flavored really well) and his burger had two pieces of unmelted cheese on it. My partner ordered the orange chicken and it had pepper flakes in it making it pretty spicy. The menu didn't mention that and he doesn't eat spicy. The waitress was able to have the kitchen remake the orange chicken and have the cheese heated up. read more

Once we were seated, we were given menus and given time to review our choices. We decided to choose a healthy option. I chose the Kale and Romaine salad, and hubby had the Cilantro Lume Chicken. Not where I expected. I came here with low expectations and when I placed my eyes on that Pink Dragon Margarita, all was gone. When I tasted it, I almost fell on the floor. Like most of us Yelpers, we always scope out a menu before we head to a restaurant. This is exactly what I did and decided upon the ahi poke nachos. They did not disappoint! I love the fresh jalapenos! Now if y'all read my reviews you know how much I always suggest for restaurants to add fresh jalapenos on top of their dishes. This dish was perfect! All of the elements you could ever want. Sweet, salty, crunchy, chewy, EVERYTHING! The calamari was also good. It was still chewy but crunchy. I didn't need any sauce with it. Now, I don't know if it was because the drink I had was the only one I needed and had me feeling nice, or the food was just that good. Simple appetizers that they did not get wrong. The only negative thing was one bartender who repeatedly tried to use dirty glasses. It's not that it was terrible just not my cup of tea. It was boneless chicken tenders tossed in this orange, syrup-y - marmalade- esqe super sweet sauce. It was very rich and overpowering. They're happy hour prices are amazing and their bar food is phenomenal. My husband and I tried multiple beers and absolutely love their pizza wings and poke nachos. We had a good take out meal here a few months ago and I had a business meeting with good appetizers a while back and decided to try eating dinner in the restaurant. The meals were hit-and-miss. We had the pork chop and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The pork chop, which was not my meal, was flavorful and tender (5). The chicken sandwich was not only not hot but the chicken was thin and both it and the slaw were completely flavorless (2). Popeyes and Chick-Fil-A have a better spicy chicken sandwiches! The service was mediocre, at best. Our server visited us to take our order, check in after someone else brought our food, and then to refill my water (2). And the restaurant was unnecessarily loud (1). If I wanted to go to the club, I would have. Also, there was some dude smoking something foul on the patio. Yard House boasts a massive rotating tap and a menu that is reminiscent of a Cheesecake Factory (read: it's a lot of options), so you wonder how the execution is going to be on their menu items. I'm pretty pleased to say that the food has always come out great for us and we're pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality. We've been to Yard House a couple of times now and in our last outing we opted for the shiitake garlic noodles and the korean bbq cheesesteak for food. The garlic noodles were cooked really well (no sad/undercooked noodles) and it had a great depth of flavor from the mushrooms. As for the korean bbq cheesesteak, it was well-balanced, had a good, but not overpowering punch of flavor from the sweetness of the korean bbq sauce. Where Yard House is missing that "last star" is the inconsistency in service. They have an iPad/tablet situation where you can put in orders to the kitchen, but it does seem to be a little finnicky with dining items when we used it. The waiting time for the food to come out is also a bit inconsistent. The servers themselves were friendly, but it would've been nice to see them either more often or have the tablet situation be more reliable so that we had a reliable way of ordering food. The ambience itself is pretty fun - kind of sports bar meets upscale dining. I'd definitely recommend for a casual drink/meal with friends/family! read more
