I cannot say enough about my incredibly amazing experience with this company, specifically Christian. I agree with the other reviews that this company was very reasonably priced, after receiving multiple quotes. The entire crew did an outstanding job with the tree cutting service. They came with a large team, were extremely professional, very efficient, and friendly. They were very flexible and adaptable, allowing for additional and unexpected work to be completed on the fly per our request. They cleaned up the yard quickly and left everything looking much more beautiful and clean than they found it. But where this company truly excels is with their phenomenal interpersonal skills. I had an unfortunate conflict with a neighbor who did not want the tree to be trimmed as planned. Christian very professionally mediated the conversation throughout the day between us and our neighbor, enabling us to accomplish our goals of both trimming the tree and maintaining the balance and health of the tree. He truly wanted to do the right thing, and have both parties leave happy. I am just amazed by how he remained calm, patient, and was able to de-escalate the situation. He was truly a godsend through this experience. I am sure that if I hired a different tree company, we would not have succeeded in completing our tree cutting due to the conflict we experienced. Christian and his team truly went above and beyond in every way. I will without a doubt use this company for any tree cutting needs I have in the future, and will be recommending them to everyone I know. Hire Yanez for your tree cutting needs--You will not regret it. read more

Excellent customer service from start to finish with Yanez Tree Service Experts. I had one large tree that was three feet away from out house removed, and major branches of two other trees removed. The crew at Yanez was friendly and hardworking, and Chris, the crew chief was an excellent communicator. He spent a lot of time talking with me to be sure he understood exactly what I wanted done, giving recommendations on what branches to remove to best protect the health of the trees, and overall just making sure I was satisfied with everything they did. There was no damage at all to our house or yard. They also cleaned up my yard completely, so that you could not even tell they had been here. Our house (and our neighbors) is safer now due to their work. It was an outstanding experience hiring this small family-owned business (and the exact opposite of a bad experience I had a year ago with one of the big tree service companies in Montgomery County). Yanez Tree really cares about customer satisfaction - and they care about helping you maintain healthy trees so you can keep and enjoy them for many more years. They also have competitive pricing. This is the only company I will call in the future for tree work. read more

Yanez tree service is the best tree company I have ever done business with. I was a landscaper for 20 years and this company was awesome and by far the best priced service. So professional, timely and courteous. Christian was on time, upbeat, polite and more than fair with pricing. He delivered on everything he promised and supervised the whole job. We got estimates that were $7000 higher for less service! read more

Very knowledgeable assessing and how to best manage trees in distress or in need of removal, professional and pleasant to work with and most reasonable pricing. Couldn't ask for anything better. read more

Alex Yanez and his team were extremely professional and efficient in removing a tree, grinding the stump, trimming a large overgrown cherry tree, a large overgrown maple, and taking down a huge wild cherry. They took care in making sure that the trees would be able to grow healthily, trimmed away branches that led to sagging or damage, and gave advice on suggestions for future tree growth. Most impressive was the level of efficiency, I was doing some paperwork for a few hours and by the time I was done they had completed all of the the work; without the woodchipper I don't even think my neighbors would've noticed they were here. I 100% recommend Yanez Tree Service Experts to ALL customers, I will be recommending them to all of my friends in the area, and will be using Yanez Tree Service as our lifetime Tree Experts going forward. Once again, thank you so much Alex, your team was wonderful! read more

These guys were very professional, responsive and got my back yard looking great. The pricing was very competitive as I had multiple quotes. The whole crew was very professional and friendly. I recommended them to my neighbors and I am already planning to have them come back to to some more work next year once I figure out the exact layout of my back yard oasis. Awesome job guys! read more

I reached out through Yelp to find a tree service or landscaper who cound grind up a small stump. Yanez was 1 of 6 companies I contacted. They came out pretty quickly and quoted a reasonable price. The work was done within a week. I am very satisfied with quality of work. read more

Our Bradford pear tree split in half in our windstorm just before 5pm today (a Friday.) I called 6 places and Couldn't find anyone to come out and help, despite the fact that a section of the tree was blocking half the street and it's branches were on my neighbors car. In desperation, I called Yanez. We're in Sterling, Virginia so I knew calling a Rockville business was unlikely but I needed help urgently. The guys at Yanez could not have been kinder. So understanding, they drove 90 minutes out of their way to come help us. They got to work immediately and carefully removed the pieces of the tree that were resting on our neighbors car to avoid further damage. They made me feel like a member of their family. Within an hour the fallen section was gone for a very reasonable price and they even used a wind blower and rake to clean everything up. Top notch. True family business led by wonderful people who care about their community. We don't have family nearby so thank you Yanez for treating us like yours! read more

Took 3 times of sending a message and calling before someone finally called me back, said they were going to give a estimate on removing 3 trees, did not show up so I emailed again, someone showed up the next day, The employee seemed like he really did not want to do the job and that reflected on the high estimate, much higher than several other tree removal companies. That's why it pays to get several estimates. I gave 1 star only because they did eventually come out. read more

We had a great experience with Yanez Tree Service. They gave us a great price and delivered excellent service, going above and beyond what we had originally discussed. Christian Yanez and his crew were professional, quick, cleaned up the yard, and delivered in a time crunch. Would highly recommend. Even my wife was impressed, something I can say from personal experience is a tall order. read more

Amazing. We asked for multiple companies for quotes for a huge job of trimming 4 large trees in our back and front yard. Yanez tree services not only gave us the best price, When they came for estimate really know what they were talking about, professional and knowledgeable about what needs to be done. On the day of the work, they arrived on time and with a large group to finish the work on time. They cleaned up so fast and had all the right trucks/crane pull up for the clean. We had a very large tree that needed some serious trim and Alex and his team went above and beyond to do outstanding work. They even cut some branches that were not in the original estimate because they had dried out. We will use this company again and recommend highly. read more

Dipshits left a huge pile of trimmings in our front yard over a month. Refused to haul it off. They decided theyre gonna only use our trash cans. Avoid theese half-assed morons lile the plague. Poor English topped with a fuck it attitude read more

Punctual and very experienced. Took great care or my yard and neighbors when removing and trimming trees. Highly recommend.

Knowledgeable, professional, thorough, communicative family owned business. Very reasonable pricing and no hidden costs. Also - Alex clearly not only knows his trees but cares about them. They've done two jobs for us so far and in our hard to access back yard. Will definitely call them next time we need tree work! read more

I was not sure what I was getting into when talking with tree services but I was pleasantly surprised by Yanez. They really knew about trees, including what can be done based on specific types. They were very professional. They arrived on time, did the job, cleaned up, and I was left with trimmed trees. No, they were not the cheapest but I think they were the best option! read more

They did a great job. Cleaned up afterwards which was fantastic. Will definitely use in the future and would recommend.

Recently we had services from Yanez crews, including removal of two big trees and 2 dead trees, all of which are in backyard and close to our and neighbor's properties. We had concerns at beginning as it presents an opportunity to damage the properties from falling trees and branches. In the end we were astonished by their skills and experiences, and most importantly, by their professional way to deal with customers' concern. All trees were gone, yard was clean, no trashes and debris were left behind after the job was done. The price they offered is excellent, i.e., the lowest among three estimates. I have no hesitate to rank their service the highest score. As a matter of fact, their excellence is well beyond my expectation. read more

I'm happy to recommend this business. Alex brought his entire crew of about 10 people to remove 3 large trees from my yard on a Saturday. Because of my fence, they had to use hand carts to remove the logs, and it was a lot of work. All the workers were extremely professional. I watched the trees come down and it was very interesting to see how they worked together to ensure everything was done efficiently and safely. They came back two days later to remove the remainder of the logs, and were very conscientious about cleaning up debris. Also, their price was very reasonable compared to other services. read more

I had a horrible experience with Yanez. My neighbor hired them to do some tree work, and I agreed to let them remove one lower branch on my white oak tree that was near his roof. Without asking me and without my permission, they removed every single lower branch on my tree, about 6 or 7 perfectly healthy branches. They left me with just a trunk to look at unless I look way up. When I asked their crew leader why he removed all those branches without my permission, he said he thought he was "doing me a favor." How is removing all those beautiful, healthy branches on my tree, leaving me with a trunk, doing me a favor? I used to love looking at that tree; now I can't stand to look at it after what Yanez did to it. If you care about your trees, don't let Yanez near them. read more

The Yanez team was everything you could ask for in an arborist team - professional, they walked us through every step of the process - affordable, they were the best quote we received - punctual, they were on time - thoughtful, they took care with our and our neighbor's property - careful and insured - clean, they stacked the usable wood for us and cleaned up any mess at the end of the job We will use them going forward for all tree needs. Thank you, Alejandro! read more

This is the second time I've used Yanez Tree Service Experts. As with the first time, they did an excellent job. I had several tall dead trees in my backyard that needed to be removed. Alex was able to quickly come out and give me an estimate and then several days later the Yanez team arrived to quickly cut down the dead trees and clear away the debris. They did a very thorough and detailed job and were very conscientious about cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommend! read more

Yanez was very professional. They came out and provided an estimate quickly and offered a very reasonable price (far lower than other companies). They removed two trees from the front of our house as well as the tree stumps. After interviewing a number of tree services, I chose to use Yanez. We have many towering 80 foot trees that were encroaching on the house and needed many large branches and a number of trees removed. Yanez arrived on time, wearing masks and went right to work. The business is family owned and could not have been more professional and efficient. Their equipment was well maintained and clean. Alex gave a VERY reasonable quote and actually did much more than we had originally discussed.Yanez has a 6 man crew who worked methodically and cleaned up perfectly. I could not be more pleased. Alex is a highly educated man who now has joined the family business with his father , brother and an additional crew. Excellent work. read more

I cannot recommend Yanez Tree Experts enough. Theirs is a friendly, highly skilled family business that removed our quite old, tall pin oak, estimated to be at least 85-90 years old. It was far from an easy job. They were punctual, came with the right equipment, and worked very hard and efficiently. The tree was close to our house and slanted toward the house which required dropping the long, high branches and the thick tall trunk very carefully. It was a thing of beauty and art to see them doing this so well. At the end they completely cleaned up, loading the trucks and over-worked chipper, and leaving virtually nothing behind. They also did some tree pruning and trimming across the street for new homeowners who seemed to be as happy with the work as we were. read more
