In 2022, I hired ADM to install sod in my backyard (among other things). I was pleased with their services, until I discovered that the sod has black plastic netting throughout it. After just having spent two hours with a pair of scissors cutting plastic strips out of my grass so I can reseed bare spots this spring, I decided to write a review nearly three years after we hired them. This netting is used to hold together cheap, lower quality sod by companies that want to increase their profits. It is environmentally disastrous, and it makes taking out grass, reseeding, planting in areas where the sod was incredibly difficult. It catches on rakes in the fall and dandelion diggers in summer. I am furious it was used without any notice to me (it's impossible to tell unless you tear apart the sod) and do not recommend using them. read more

This amiable crew does it all when it comes to trimming, removal, and stumps, and at a very competitive price! It started with the timely arrival of their estimator, proceeded a week later with the crew rolling up right at the start of the day, and after much hard work they left our yards cleaner than when they started. They removed a good sized maple with their bucket truck, and climbed sky high to clean up our huge oak and dawn redwood. If i can give 0 star, I would!!!!! I had tree trimming scheduled for 7/7 between hours of 8:30am - 10:00am, took the morning off from work. They didn't show up until 11:30am ( I called to see if they were showing up) and I noticed they took a lunch break within an hour they arrived. Part II, was scheduled for 7/13. My husband took a day off, and the work was scheduled for 11am. We waited....waited.....waited and waited. I got a call 3hrs, 45mins later (2:45 pm) saying they can't make it today. A simple call earlier in morning would have been fine, totally understand things do happen. You have people on the site doing the work, and office employees making sure the work is done on time or notify the next client if you are running late. On my google review, they replied back saying, unfortunately they canceled once they found out about an emergency. That is NOT acceptable after 3hrs, 45 mins later!!! And top that off, they wrote they tried to rectify the situation by giving a discount. Really?!? During the conversation on the phone, "Discount" never came up. If you have days to waste and have a plenty of vacation time to waste, maybe this company is for you. read more

Full transparency, this work was performed on 8/31/2018, but I'm not exactly the quickest person in the world leaving a proper review. ADM removed three fairly large pine trees and an overhanging branch into my neighbors yard for a great cost and left the place looking like there were no trees there in the first place. They called Miss Utility for me and had all of the utilities marked and I didn't have to worry about a thing. There was a small disconnect between services performed and services quoted, but the foreman and I came to a positive compromise. Due to their volume of work they quote, verify your proposal - any work that was verbally agreed to but not written down is not on them to include at no cost. They were doing service at my neighbor's house and I asked for an estimate. The price was one I couldn't resist, and my yard was left cleaner when they left than when they arrived (left over leaves and such)! Coincidentally, my HOA president was at my house when the estimate and work was done. She took their card and plans to recommend them for their wonderful work going forward. She was so impressed as well. I also want to give kudos to the young man that I talked with through the process. ADM trimmed a number of trees and removed one tree and ground out the stump. ADM was very responsive and punctual. The communication was great and the work was perfect. They were very careful as many of the limbs were on my house and didn't damage anything. They were also very fairly priced. I will totally use them again. read more

High End Remove, Unbeatable Pricing. We had them come out to remove three 20 year old Oak Trees, a Bradford Pear, and a small tree in our backyard. They provided the best price by a large margin. They ground our stumps, left some wood for our fire pit and cleaned up our yard impeccably in under 2 hours. They came for two jobs, one was to remove some Mulberry trees in the back yard, and as a bonus they would remove some dead branches from the front and back trees which were the cornerstone of our property. They didn't remove all of the Mulberry tree branches we asked, and they completely butchered the two main trees on our property. I'm thinking about suing them. This perfectly formed huge tree in the center of our front yard is destroyed. They say it will grow back in about 5 years. read more

We saw our neighbor having 5 30-foot Bradford Pears removed yesterday by ADM Tree Services. The trees were in between our two houses and overgrown, making it a dangerous and complicated job. ADM employees skillfully and carefully removed the trees working hard throughout the day until the job was done. We were so impressed with watching them work, we asked them to remove two 35-foot large pine trees from our backyard, plus a small maple out front. I highly recommend ADM Tree Services. I was impressed at the skill, professionalism and thoroughness of their crew. I had no idea all the work your company would do, including removing everything safely and carefully, taking away all of the tree, cleaning up all leaves and debris left behind, grinding down the stump, leaving just a small mound of mulch where the tree once was. Their staff is to be recognized for the high quality of their work. I am pretty certain my neighbors, where you removed 5 large Bradford Pear trees, feel the same. ADM Tree Services came out and did an outstanding JOB! I had 2, 60 foot tall Red Oak trees that needed to be removed due to one being dead and the other was dying. The ADM team showed up promptly on time and were all ready to go. They explained to me what they were going to be doing and what equipment they were going to use. They waited until the 8.am time to start their heavy machinery noises and then around 8:30.am to start their chainsaws. They climbed up to the top of the first tree and started the limb removal and then the trunk removal. They then moved onto the other tree and dit the same. They worked steady and wore all safety gear. They communicated with each other and were always watching out for one another. The team took a quick 20 minute or so lunch and were back at it. ADM Tree Service added in the removal of a couple of felled logs that were piled up next to the 2 trees that were removed. They stacked the wood I asked them too and then cleaned up the place very well. They raked the debris and mulched what they couldn't cut for and stack. The FINAL price was far below what most other Tree Service companies were quoting me and their service I think was very good. I only had one other Tree Service company that had the same price, but the added log removal included in the project quote was the tipping point to ADM. If you need tree service, give them a call and ask for a quote. Glad I did! read more

On the positive side--they worked 3 hours trimming the bushes in our front yard in the rain. On the negative side they did such a poor job that we are thinking of taking out the bushes they trimmed. When I called their attention to the job--they offered to come back "AT A DISCOUNT" and remove the bushes they messed up. Had an appointment for 5:30 pm today with Fidel (spelling?), but he didn't show. No phone call, no text. Nothing. It is now 6:20 pm. I am positive about our appointment time. I even called back right after making it to confirm the date to be 100% sure and wrote it all down. A complete disrespect for a potential customer's time. Took out couple of trees in back and many other shrubs ...went with them to put up the fence too..they sub-contracted but that too was done very well...Their pricing is very competitive...The job work is done well and to the satisfaction. I think they could improve in cleaning after the job. When I complained, Fidel took it on his own and cleaned up the yard...Still 5 star for me.... my neighbor and I got three written estimates to remove four trees, two across the street and two tall pines close to the side of my house, and encroaching on, and over, my roof. we jointly selected ADM as the best estimate and time to complete the job and haul away the debris. also they agreed to contract for the next saturday, as this was most convenient for us in centreville. my neighbor and i were very pleased with the tree felling and removal job, and the crew showed up promptly as promised and completed the work within the number of hours estimated. will hire them again for a safe removal of tree/s that is/are dead or too tall to remain in proximity of building or presenting a hazard. read more

We have used their service twice, once to remove and stump grind a large willow tree and trim a large birch tree, and the second time to remove and stump grind several medium size cherry trees and clear and mulch another area. They are very responsive when you call, are able to come out at short notice and their quotes are exceptional. When you make appointments they show up promptly and are always very courteous. Very disappointed in the way the do business. I scheduled a tree to be cut down because I am having a new fence installed around my property. ADM Tree Service suggested a fence company to use. I decided to go with another company, and at the last moment (the day before the fence was to be installed by the other company), they backed out of the job. Now I have to find another company to do the work at the last minute. Very lousy thing to do to a customer who has given them many jobs. BTW, I scheduled the job in advance. I left a message for ADM for an estimate to trim a cherry tree in our front yard, as well as a neighbors' Bradford Pear tree that was encroaching on our yard and house. I received a call back quickly and set up an evening appointment for the estimate. Adam came by the next day, on time, and asked questions about the work we wanted done. He gave me an estimate on the spot, and we arranged for service the very next day. We are so impressed by the work they performed. You cannot even tell that they were there and we now have sunshine on our front yard. The price was amazing as well. Called many tree services through service magic. I had a huge threat of a tree, i mistakenly tried to cut myself, falling on my house. ADM said that they would have a truck at my house soon and quotes me 350, I waited, but the threat was real and another team showed up, so i had them do the work. I received an email, instead of a phone call, from ADM that they would have someone there in 30 minutes, I replied that there was no need. 50 minutes later the team showed up. There company did not tell them about my message. I receive an email from the guy that since i didnt call him in now owe them the 350 or he will send it to collections. His management and inability to check messages is his fault not mine. I will never recommend them to anyone. STAY AWAY! read more

They trimmed two very large and long tree branches that were hanging over my roof. Arrived exactly on time and crew was very polite and worked hard. Good clean-up job. Only complaints are: a misunderstanding about how to handle the firewood they cut. They did a great job of stacking it neatly, but many of the pieces are too thick to burn easily. I thought I had asked them to take away the large portions of the tree so I don't have to handle disposal myself. Also, every once in awhile I would hear a heavy thump as tree pieces hit my roof, and I hope there was no damage to my shingles. But their prices are very competitive with three other tree services I have used. Just be clear about all instructions and monitor any roof area work. read more

We had them remove four 7-8 feet trees, grind down the stumps, remove a few bushes, and trim two large bushes. We also had them plant 14 boxwoods and mulch our front and back patio.
