We have been in communication with VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions since March 12, 2026 regarding…read moreproblems with two projects which they completed on our home. In 2021 they completed a waterproofing project which carries a 12 year warranty, and in 2022 they completed a patio installation which carries a 5 year warranty. As of April 22, 2026, VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions has not provided a solution to either of these problems. Our foundation wall was bowed before VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions excavated and waterproofed our home in 2021. We showed the bowed wall to VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions before the excavation began, and they recommended proceeding with the project without reinforcing the wall. We began to see small cracks in the foundation wall shortly after VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions completed the waterproofing. We showed the cracked wall to VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions before they installed our patio in 2022. VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions assured us that the cracks were not a problem. However, the cracks have grown substantially since then, and an independent structural engineer has confirmed that the wall is failing. In addition, the patio is sinking, the exterior waterproofing membrane is slipping, and there is a damp smell in our home near the cracked wall. In order to provide access to the cracked foundation wall for repairs, our patio will have to be removed, and the exterior of our home will have to be excavated again. Once the engineer's recommended repairs have been completed, the wall will have to be waterproofed again, and our yard will have to be regraded again. Finally, our patio will have to be reinstalled. We paid VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions to do all of this work in 2021 and 2022 because we trusted their professional opinion about our foundation wall. We now have to pay another contractor to do all of this work again so that our foundation wall can be reinforced. VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions has stated that they will not honor the warranty on the waterproofing project because the man who estimated the project is no longer employed by VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions. They have not provided details about how they will honor the warranty on the patio installation. We will update our review if VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions honors the warranties on their work. In the meantime, we cannot recommend VM Drainage and Erosion Solutions.

But the hardscaping is really bad and I would recommend you avoid this company if you want a flagstone patio. The installation team generated huge clouds of dust all day long because they didn't have a wet saw. It covered my side yard as well as my neighbors'. They also didn't wear any PPE, which is unsafe and unprofessional. The patio is graded correctly and has helped with water management issues, but they installed a dozen stones that were clearly damaged with large scratches and gouges. I called the project manager out and they replaced ten of the most damaged stones, but honestly they should not have taken delivery of this product and they should not have installed it. They should have sent it back to their supplier to get it swapped out. The mortar work is also very messy and overall makes the patio look bad. The mortar comes up over the edges of the stones and there are drips and smears to this day. I hope the weather would even it out over time but now a couple months later, it still looks really bad. We have neighbors who just got a new flagstone patio done by another company and the difference is stark. Their stones are perfect and the mortar has clean lines and looks great. Nice people and to their credit, they did come back after the initial install and put significant effort into improving it. But for the money, it's still not a good value.

After checking out a couple of options, they seemed like the best and easiest solution. They were very fast with scheduling, and their project manager was very communicative over text messages about the process from start to finish, which I appreciate. The only two points I would raise that made it less than five-star service are: - I had asked them to check out a problem area of trim/fascia/soffit and let me know what could be done about it; the PM confirmed they would but then I didn't hear anything back about it and the crew cleaned up and left without a word. - While the crew did an immaculate job cleaning up my driveway and front yard area, they did a very poor job cleaning up my back deck. I swept it the next day and found about a dozen nails and staples that my children could have been injured on.

MWM was the group selected by our Insurance Co. While insurance said we could choose someone else for the work, we felt comfortable with MWM right from the start. Our project manager, Mo, did a great job of explaining the process and kept us informed at each step. He tried to keep the scope and timeline of work reasonable, but always let us know when something might or wasn't going to plan (which happened a couple of times). The crew made pretty quick work of the remediation/demolition and the rebuild. The timeline estimates were always realistic and pretty close to actual. The only thing that maybe could have been better was the cleaning crew. They did the big things (vacuum, mopping, etc) but afterward we noticed a lot of dust that should have been removed. Minor in the big picture.

Estate Lawn Services had cut the grass and low hanging tree branches on my elderly fathers property…read morefor many years but I relocated here to look after him and found that they had been dumping the cut tree branches in the creek that runs through his property. M father was almost 90 at the time and had no idea they were doing this as he was not able to go down to the creek. Apparently they had been doing it for quite some time there was a dam-like pile of tree branches, causing the water to back up and become rancid and not flow freely. This also caused a drainage problem below the pile of tree branches as it had turned that area into a muddy marsh-like area that still exists to this day. When I had confronted the owner, Aaron, about these branches he admitted that he did it and his excuse was that "it was my bad". I insisted he remove all the branches and although he removed some of them, the bulk of them remained in the creek as they had sunk down from the weight and were embedded in the mud. He refused to go into the creek and pull the embedded ones out. All of this could have been avoided if Aaron had hauled away the cut tree branches as he should have instead of dumping them in our creek. I still can't believe he did this instead of hauling them away. I suppose he would had to dump them somewhere and didn't want to take the time. I have plenty of photos of what he did and would certainly not recommend this company!

My brother had to give them suggestions...Eventually they removed the concrete and began preparing for the concrete pour...my neighbors began to inquire why it was taking so long..it took several days to remove the old and for the truck to come. Eventually it was done...We followed his recommendation to not put salt on the new concrete for a year...the next year, rocks began to appear in the concrete and I called Antonio to come out and look...He blew me off for over a year, then came out saying we put salt on the concrete which we didn't...I asked him to fix it. He didn't. I called and called. He said he was our of the country and would come when he returned (2025). He came by, told me to power wash the driveway and he would be out the next week...I kept calling...Finally, its 2026, he says the work is out of warranty. I'm taking him to court...The walkway is not done professionally either. ​

They completely misled us on the scope of work for the back and planted the front in late fall, just as the weather turned cold. And the cost was astronomical! Now half the plants are dead because of the brutal winter even though I asked them if we were planting too late. And I'm spending all kinds of time and effort to keep the remaining plants alive. Low maintenance my @ss! And in the back, all the weeds and random plants they were supposed to eradicate are all coming back. I cannot stress enough how horrible they are.
