The first project involved repointing our heavily deteriorated front porch brick steps. The patio now looks fantastic and is level, clean, and professionally finished. Throughout both projects, the team was reliable, hardworking, detail oriented, and respectful of our property. My expectations were surpassed by the quality of workmanship and dedication each member of there crew's performance. The attention to detail was amazing. From covering my inground pool with plastic sheet to prevent possible cement falling to the bottom, covering the house with plastic sheet to prevent cement splash from hitting my siding to covering the base of my 6 x6 upper deck support beams with tar based post sleeves. Most importantly, I took down two sections of fence so equipment would be able to access my back yard. I went outside to dig a hole for a new fence post that needed replacing. As I began to dig, one of the workers, on his lunch break, came to me and volunteered to dig the hole for me. These are workers that take pride in there job and are happy to be working for this company. They delivered excellent craftsmanship and top notch design experience at a fair price. I initially hired Gerber to tune-up all my existing pavers, add a new paver driveway, and add some new path lighting. Adding the new driveway was somewhat of a challenge as the adjacent paver sidewalks were initially constructed over 10 years ago. So, Gerber was able to find a great match to my existing pavers and masterfully piece the new driveway together in such a fashion where old and new appear seamless. Amazing!!! During the process, we learned that his team also offered landscaping. So as the hardscaping and lighting was coming to an end, his team met with us for a design consultation. Both Kathy and Katherine brought some great experience/knowledge to assess our current situation and offered wonderful ideas to the overall design. We loved what we heard and proceeded with the landscaping work immediately. In the end, we could not be happier! And we look forward to using Gerber and his team should we have any additional hardscaping, landscaping, or lighting needs in the future.

CAC workers were on time and showed up reliably, which was helpful. The front and back of slab were plumb, no issues - but the left and right sides were not square as measured using the 3-4-5 square method, creating a problem for tile work. The discrepancy was enough to delay tile install by another contractor. It had to be made right or the tile surface would have been uneven and unattractive. When asked to inspect his work product and make it right, the owner Carlos responded that his measurements were perfect and he had made no mistakes. What could have been resolved with action and accuracy instead led us to hire someone we trust (a different yelp-verified business) who squared the slab and lumpy surround expertly. Their work wasn't bad but the part that wasn't good was mishandled with a closed attitude, unpleasant communication and delays.
