Located next to Chipotle in the Target shopping center. As you order you pick your base (rice, salad, hummus) a protein (chicken, gyro meat, etc) and two sides they have plenty of options to pick from, even dolmas. You also can pick two sauces. Hearty portions and flavorful food. Service was good, takes a minute for them to prepare your order (no complaints from me!) ambiance is a quaint eat and go establishment. Not good for large groups.
I ordered takeout, and did a build your own bowl with Greek salad, falafel, hummus and baba ghanoush, tzatziki sauce. I also bought a mango pistachio Turkish delight The food was yummy and savory and I am glad I was able to customize it so it would still be nutritious but is vegetarian. I did wish it wasn't $2.25 for one cube of Turkish delight which was sweet but I'm used to getting a bigger block of it (even if it would've cost more), but on the plus side that means you could mix and match to try one cube each of various types of Turkish delight.
4.25 stars Don't remember exactly when they first opened but it was probably around COVID lockdown. Not easy to open a new restaurant when the world shuts down. So happy Yafa Hummus made it even if the bank and bike places next door didn't. Located in a strip mall in west Dublin that used to house Toys R Us and Hobby Lobby. But the area is still fairly busy. Yafa's neighbors include Chipotle and Panera. There's a Target across the parking lot and a Safeway across the street. McDonald's, Michael's and Starbucks are 2 or 3 blocks over. There are also a lot of Mediterranean places that have the same menu so Yafa had to up their game to stand out from the crowd. Yafa Hummus has a smaller menu but almost all they do, they do well. Wish I still lived and worked close by. I would still have this place in short rotation for the yummy bowls, falafel and gyro. Their pita was super fresh, soft, and fluffy. They used the freshest veggies. The meat in the gyro was the best. The GOAT is their falafel which they fry to order. Loved the falafel sliders for a midday snack. But got to give the chicken wrap a pass as the chicken was dry. They also didn't have fries. But they were so new, I think they were still sourcing product when they opened. Think they've added that to the menu since then.
A favorite amongst coworkers and came here for lunch. It was also a nice day to sit at their outside seating. Clean inside and out. The service was great. The workers were attentive and even followed up with us. I ordered my favorite go to a gyro pita. Enjoyed how perfectly seasoned the beef was and how fresh the tomatoes were. Won't be our last time when in the mood for a gyro.
Food is excellent probably one of my favorites Mediterranean places around here, service is a little slow sometimes but I understand.
Service immpeccable, clean establishment, delicious foods. Get the falafel. All I have to say is vavavooooooom to Yafa. Chefs kiss. Stop by and grab something -- you can't go wrong here. They have outdoor seating too!
Got a chicken Shawarma wrap the food did not taste fresh. There was two workers and they seem to not be getting along. Ambiance ok

Takeaway review - Easy to place pickup orders, call or schedule online. - Food tastes fresh and balanced, and servings are large. - Service is kind but they tend to start pickup orders when you arrive, plan accordingly. - No hassle parking. - Plenty of relaxed seating. We live 15 minutes away and find this spot to be our yummy option when we crave Mediterranean food. We make that drive and stock up on extra hummus and sides to hold us another day or two. Hands down my favorite Mediterranean food around! I have frequented this location a few times and they are always on point. Aside from the restaurant feeling new and clean, the food is fresh and I love the flavor profiles. The fast/casual concept is perfect for lunch. I typically opt to build my own bowl, it's like a chipotle style kitchen where you can see all the ingredients being put together. Boy, do they give you a bang for your buck! $15 for a base, protein, 2 sides and fresh pita. This is literally lunch for two days, it is HUGE. My go to order starts with a greek salad base, half chicken shawarma, half falafel, spicy hummus and baba ganoush. They load up that bowl with chicken and the falafels are so soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, you'll be craving more than the half order. Guilty, I haven't tried the regular hummus but there's no need because their spicy hummus reigns supreme. The Yafa seasoning on the french fries is also very addicting, I never order them for myself, but I always catch myself stealing my boyfriends...oops! read more

This is the best authentic Palestinian food. The experience was amazing. The service was amazing, the food excellent and the atmosphere so nice. The guy working was extremely kind and helpful. We love YAFA! We frequent the Dublin one quite often since we live across the street it's hard not too lol!! First off the customer service is stellar. Raymon and Francisco are pretty much there every time. They truly do a good job providing friendly and efficient customer service. Raymond helps me when I'm indecisive and his recommendations are always deelish! I met one of owners once and he was just as fantastic as the rest of the staff! We always order a huge serving of Babaganoush with their pita bread for our family parties as it is truly the best. The bowls to the pita gyro, chicken wraps to the soft serve baklava dessert amaaaazing! Oh we love the crispy french fries too for some reason they remind me of Chester fries lol! So if your looking for fresh, yummy with amazing customer service YAFA is the ONE! Enjoy! FYI The Yafa rewards system is pretty dope you hella perks! read more
Great little place if you want a fast lunch. My friend and I had about 20 minutes before we had to head to the Oakland airport. Came in here and ordered the falafel wrap, side of dolma and a deluxe falafel wrap. Minutes later we are already eating and they were delicious. Wraps are pretty giant so we each had to save half To Go. But the dolmas were gone lickity split! I definitely would come here again for a fast and satisfying lunch. read more
WOW! My stomach is so happy right now. I ordered a bowl with Greek salad and half gyro half shawarma chicken. The Greek salad was so fresh and crunchy, despite having warm meat sit on top of it for half an hour. The gyro was tender and the chicken had a nice char. I poured the garlic sauce and tzatziki on top of it, mixed it up and it was a heavenly combination that left me full but also not feeling like I ate fast food (by the way, the food came out so quickly). The spicy hummus was so tasty, unsurprisingly. More surprisingly, my boyfriend who doesn't typically enjoy hummus really enjoyed it and finished off my pita bread. I can't wait to come back and try all of the other types of hummus. The soup was nice and hearty and the baklava was the perfect sweet ending. Conveniently located in the target shopping center. Stopped by here for dinner. Ordered the chicken shawarma in a pita wrap, and it was soooo refreshing and delicious. I love that they offer a "build your own" so you can customize it to your liking. I did wish I asked for more tzatziki sauce, as it was sooo good... now wanting to make my own! I also ordered their baklava, and OMG.. it was soooo good.. a little too sweet but it was crispy and delish! I believe it was the owner that helped me, he was super friendly and kind, so even if the food was decent (it was actually amazing), I would still come here to support his business. His service was subpar, which is super rare nowadays! Not even sure if he was the owner lol but the way he handled it, it seemed like he was.. or at least. A manager, I hope! With my new found love of Mediterranean food, I thought I'd give Yafa Hummus a try. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Shawarma & it definitely was spicy. The chicken was flavorful & the garlic hummus had a slight hint of garlic (although I would have preferred more). All of the vegetables (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, & onion) were so fresh that you could taste & it added to the nutritional value of the wrap. For a simple yet healthy meal, Yafa is the place to go! read more

Stars are for the mediterranean fast food restaurant it claims to be. From the entrance very clean and with some art design features on the walls and the lights. Place has inside and outside seating. Very friendly personnel and management that will go above and beyond to satisfy customer needs asking the type of food and preferred calorie intake. Very considerable. Bowls are the blast! Lighter on the salad with gyro and chicken, heavier on in-house hummus with similar proteins. Falafel is a must, although ask not to overfry it to keep soft and flavorful. Garlic sauce is to die for with any part of your order. And of course complete you experience with wide selection of bahlava. Place is a must try, if you are in the area looking for new experience. Yafa Hummus is located in a convenient plaza next to Chipotle and Target. I came for dinner to order takeout. The owner greated me and was extremely kind and very hospitable. The store is quaint and clean and very inviting. The plates are build your own where you can customize the bowl. You choose the base (hummus, rice, etc), meat (chicken, gyro, falafel), and sides (garbanzo beans, hummus, tabbouleh, etc. They all come with a sauce on the side which includes garlic sauce, which is so good. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, gyro plate, and a chicken wrap. For sides, I had some regular hummus, spicy hummus, mixed beans, tabbouleh, garbanzo beans for my sides. My favorite were the two types of hummus. Those were delicious!!! The spicy hummus was especially delicious! I loved it. The mixed beans and garbanzo beans were a bit lacking flavor though, which is one of the reasons for the 4 starts instead of 5. For the meats, the gyro had great flavor, but should have been cut off the big meat slab at the time people order to keep the juiciness and the freshness. The chicken was also a bit dry, which is the main reason for the 4 instead of 5 starts. One suggestions of for the crew to keep the chicken soaked in the juices to better retain moisture so that when served, it'll still taste juicy. I also had the lentil soup as an appetizer and pistachio baklava for dessert. The soup was delicious and same of the baklava. Sometimes baklava can be a bit sweet, but the ones they have here are delicious! I can't wait to go back soon! read more

Yafa Hummus is all about the fresh local ingredients, their falafel is made fresh daily using their grandpa's 50+ year-old recipe. So you're in for a treat. The falafel wrap was delicious; while their Back Home Style chicken wrap is a must try! The gyro bowl with hummus was very tasty, creamy and flavorful, even the fries were delicious! Don't get me started with the desserts, I felt like a kid at a candy store. So many delicious options to choose from, but the baklava will always be my favorite, so flaky and sweet. Excellent food and service. They have plenty of vegetarian options. We will definitely visit again soon! read more

Wonderful all around! I love Mediterranean food and have visited numerous Mediterranean restaurants. The quality of the food here ranks up there with the best of them. This restaurant is located in an outdoor shopping center with a large parking lot. My bf and I visited on a Saturday in the late morning. Parking was easy. The restaurant had just opened and was not busy. Plenty of seating was available both inside and outside of the restaurant. The vibe was relaxed and casual. The menu was standard for a Mediterranean restaurant. All of their sides were vegetarian. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, large Dolma side (6 pieces) and large Tabuleh side. Our food was ready at the counter in a timely manner and nicely plated on the tray. According to my bf, the shawarma was delicious but a tad small. My sides were in good portion and probably the best Dolma and Tabuleh I've had. The were both very light and of the perfect moisture level. Customer service was outstanding. The female employee who assisted us was helpful and friendly. We will definitely return when we are in the area. read more

So glad I decided to pop in to this place. At the last moment, I decided against hummus and opted for lentil soup to go with my Chicken Shwarma wrap. The soup was jus ok, but the wrap was the real winner. I love the way they grill it after they wrap everything inside. Great flavor and fresh ingredients. During COVID, the local restaurants that make it on to our family's takeout rotation share a few characteristics: -- the food is tasty -- the dishes are easy to remember -- the prices are budget friendly -- the service is prompt and no-fuss, and -- the location is easy to access and pick up from. After first experiencing Yafa Hummus when we were in Livermore last month, the family was craving their addictive gyros, shareable back-home-style shawarma wraps, and seasoned pita chips. So I placed an order with their west Dublin location (opposite Target, next to Panera), which is a lot closer to us. The order was ready in less than the ten minutes it took me to drive there. They kindly let me substitute a small regular hummus dip for the "free with Yelp check-in" drink; I wanted to try something other than the pesto hummus, which is what we'd ordered to go with the pita chips. Back home, the food was devoured in short order. Every dish hit the mark, as we'd learned what not to get from our previous experience. The only new wrinkle - the regular hummus - was even better (creamier) than their superb pesto hummus, and the girls polished it off first! One more local restaurant makes it onto our COVID rotation. read more

Delicious fast food style Mediterranean food! We saw this restaurant open during Covid and we were happy to try out this new place. Their menu offers wraps/pitas, bowls and salads with a choice of proteins and sides. The protein choices are gyro meat, chicken and falafel. We sampled a few items and everything was fresh and delicious! Back home style is a wrap that's grilled to finish and it's filled with chicken shawarma, garlic sauce and pickles. So good! We enjoyed their fresh salad and rice bowl with both gyro meat and chicken. The Baba Ganoush was so good. I try it whenever I see it on a restaurant's menu. Yafa's is creamy and savory with a delicate smokey flavor. We will definitely be back! read more
Yafa Hummus is located on Amador Plaza Rd. near Dublin Blvd. on the east side of the Target Shopping center. It's tucked away with a separate pad that houses Chipotle, and Panera Bread. Yafa Hummus is Mediterranean Greek fast food. The menu is very simple and limited, its wraps or a bowl. During the Covid-19 times it was take out only. The interior is one long counter on the other side is the prep table. I've been there a twice, both times I ordered a couple bowls. It is very similar to a Greek Chipotle. The bowls are $11.50 with a choice of Chicken Shawarma, sliced Gyro or Falafal, then choose a base of Hummus, White or Brown Rice, or salad. With the bowls you get two sides of either, Hummus, generous portions, good Pesto Hummus Greek Salad, Tabuleh, fresh, good Baba Ghanoush, eggplant was the best side, in a creamy yogurt sauce Spicy Hummus, Kale-slaw Mixed beans Dolma,*** Do not order, the Dolma was hard dry and chalky. minus star. Then, a choice of dressing, Tahini, Garlic, Chili Sauce Tzatziki. ***Pro Tip*** ask for the sauce on the side the second time my bowls were drenched in sauce (see pics) The food was good, and I understand it is fast food Mediterranean, but the presentation could be improved. All of the items are packed into a Identical Chipotle cardboard bowl. I would prefer that there is a divider or separation of some ingredients. Plenty of parking in the large Shopping Center. Not bad. The customizable bowls are decent. But I have to comment on the $4.50 baklava. That experience was over in 2.5 bites. I know inflation is out of control, but that is steep for such a little nugget. I'd skip it next time and save for a gallon of gas! read more
Came here for the first time and will definitely come back again! 10/10 for their falafels! They are freshly made in the house and hot! Fried to perfection; crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Staff were very friendly and the service was fast! read more
Went here for the first time yesterday. The wait wasn't too long for my food (considering that I didn't call in ahead). I had the Falafel Wrap. I don't usually get falafel wraps, as I've found they're generally soggy and don't feel like the ingredients are well-integrated. Yafa's is a whole other story. The wrap is made with falafel mix served on lavash with hummus,spring mix, tomatoes, pickles, & tahini sauce. I added a little bit of garlic sauce as well. The wrap seemed a bit small in comparison with others I've had. However, the ingredients are well integrated, and the wrap is toasted, so it's got a nice crunch to it. And, after eating the wrap, I wasn't overly full or stuffed, so I guess it was a perfect size. I enjoyed my wrap very much, and will be back! read more

Probably the 100th review!! Yayy... because this place deserves it. Deserves more reviews, more people trying them out and more sales especially during these difficult times. Tried their food twice now in the past month and I vote for them to be the best in this area. Glad they finally decided to open another location and picked Dublin. Tried their chicken wraps, amazing.. they have a lot of meat in them so the option of "extra meat" was way too heavy for me the first time when I tried them. Also the falafels here a legit, green on the inside, not dry at all, don't even need a sauce or side to enjoy. How good is that? Packaging is sustainable except for the outer plastic bag but doing good so far. Can't wait to try more options from their menu.. read more

Yafa Hummus is my new favorite Mediterranean fast-food restaurant in the area. I had a local favorite until now but it is now switched to Yafa. It is a bit farther from my house, but it's worth it. There's a certain popular burrito chain restaurant right next door at this location. As much as I love that restaurant too, people visiting the Dublin location would be advised to take a detour to Yafa. I am not sure what I can say the star of the plate is at Yafa. I love everything that I get. I've only been there twice now, but I am already into a track of getting the same thing: bowl with a based of traditional hummus, dolmas, tabouleh, falafel, vegan tahini, and hot chili sauce. I am a tabouleh fan and also a snob. The tabouleh here fits my tastes perfectly. The citrus in it is just right and lights up my palate. The hummus is smooth and tastes perfect. The falafel has been cooked to perfection both times. The dolmas are soft and tasty; the leaves have not been tough. There is limited seating outside and I recommend using it so that you get to enjoy your food fresh and get the real texture and favor that it is meant to have. read more
First time trying YH, had the hankering for some hummus and gyro! Placed an order for pick up. And drove out to pick it up. We ordered the half gyro and half chicken bowl with a side of Fries as well. Got our food got home and dug in. The fries are so well seasoned very yummy! The bowl was pretty good as well. The hummus is well prepared and the gyro was flavorful. Worth checking out! read more
Grabbing Chipotle for my son. I decided to try Yafa Hummus for the first time. I was craving a gyro. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Ambiance is basic, but clean. I ordered the gyro with extra side of tzatziki and hot spice (sauce). I didn't receive the extra side of tzatziki. Tzatziki has seasoning in it. This one didn't as you can see below. The white sauce was like a creamy garlic or horseradish. The beef was dry and not sure if the onions were freshly cut because I got a mouth full twice of the hard but chewy onion skin. You know the part that usually gets cut away & thrown out. Not very impressed. I was really looking forward to an authentic gyro. Sorry guys but Athen's Burger has a fresher, better put together and tastier gyro. I believe in giving restaurants at least 2 or 3 chances read more

Dang Yafa, you guys let me down tonight. I ordered a falafel wrap and it had WAAAYYYYYY too much spice. The whole wrap just tastes like . I asked for light spice and my whole wrap is RED . I can't even eat my food. This was a turn off for sure. Now I gotta find something else to eat. read more
