I just had to announce the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Out west I s hard to find a good Philly. Falafel-town Has an amazing Philly. The beef is flavorful and moist, the grilled onions peppers and mushrooms are so great together and with the cheese and steak and a soft bun, it becomes a delicious flavor bomb. Mild spice seems to work well but I am tempted to try medium also. Excellent

I am so happy they're here again. Food is consistently good, their garlic fries are a must. I was grabbing "to go" so can't speak to the dine-in experience, but it was clean and comfortable. I would only suggest the music be turned down slightly. Staff was lovely and friendly. They went above and beyond.

Pretty damn good food! Ordered the combo Shaw plate with more rice and no sauce. They do not slack on their portions. Rice was buttery and the meat is tasty not too spicy I recommend this place 100%!!!! Owners are very friendly!! Please support family owed businesses!!!!

Falafel Town is located in a small strip mall near the corner of Amador Valley Blvd and Village Pkwy. I had this place bookmarked a while ago based on several positive reviews from Yelpers that I trust. My family and I met a couple friends here for dinner on 04/13/2024. It wasn't busy when we walked in at 5:30 pm. The owner, Kevin, promptly greeted us. The interior was spacious and clean. There were a couple TVs showing different sporting events. Ordering was done at the counter. Their menu featured the usual array of Mediterranean fare such as gyros, kabobs, shawarma, etc. After a quick deliberation, my brother and I each got a combo shawarma plate while my mom opted for the chicken shish kabob plate. The total, with tax and tip, was about $62. I later found out a 3% transaction charge was added to my bill because they use Clover PoS system. This was not disclosed during ordering. The food was prepared to order and was ready in about 15 minutes. The combo shawarma plate was outstanding. It came with a copious amount of chicken and lamb shawarma, rice, salad, cucumber sauce, and pita bread. The meats were very moist and flavorful. I tried a piece of my mom's chicken shish kabob and it was great as well. The taste of lemon really stood out. Kevin and his family were friendly and welcoming. Overall, I was very impressed by this restaurant. The food was prepped with care and pride, and we were treated very nicely even though this was our first time eating here. My family and I will definitely be back. 4 solid stars. BONUS MATERIAL: - 3% credit card transaction charge added to your bill. - Ample parking on site.

Second time here. Quality dishes at reasonable prices. For $18 after taxes, enough for lunch the next day. Staff are pretty nice and accommodating. Plenty of seating and parking in lot. The chicken was super loaded and seasoned nicely on top of basmati rice with pita bread and side of veggies.

Fantastic falafel/gyro restaurant in Dublin. Well deserving of their high yelp score. Store is bright and clean with plenty of tables to eat at. The parking lot and outside strip mall is a bit run down. The restaurant has a lot of different options. We went for a shawarma combo plate and a lamb gyro set with fries and soda. Total was just over $30 which is sadly the new reality of "cheap" lunches. The shawarma had the choice of hummus or cucumber sauce and I went with hummus. Food came out in about ten minutes. The meats are definitely it. You have your choice of spice level and medium was the right choice for us. Flavorful with bite without causing us to breathe fire. All of the meat varieties were well cooked -- juicy and crisp. The hummus was great. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. Toilet was very clean although they had wayyyyy too many air fresheners so if you're scent sensitive you may want to avoid. All in all, an A+ find in Dublin.

    Lamb shish kebob plate (17.99)

Falafel Town returns for an encore after departing years ago. Same owner with new flatscreens & pics on the walls. Order at counter, pay. Food brought to table.. Offerings: burgers. Sides, drinks, philly cheesesteaks, Shawarma/vegetarian/shish kebob plates, desserts, gyros, shawarma wraps...vibrant percussions & vocal music in background. Eats: Lamb Shish kabob plate (17.99) -small lettuce salad with minimal house dressing, tomato slices, red onions, cucumber slices tasted ok. -hummus had distinct tart notes, nothing more. -warmed pita bread was the usual, took 1 bite. Saved it. -4 skewers of smallish lamb pieces mostly dry, some slightly moist. Lacked bold flavas, faint. -basmati rice fluffy, firm. Tasted uber fresh with herbs & spices mixed thruout. 3.5 stars food comparable to similar eateries *3% fee for CC usuage.

    Lamb Gyros Plate

I got the lamb gyro plate which comes with rice, gyro meat, hummus, and some veggies. I love places that's crisp up the gyro meat. This place makes it perfectly without me having to ask off my gyro meat extra crispy. I asked for their in house hot sauce which was delicious. It has a consistency of sambal. The flavor of the rice could improve and not be as dry.

I didn't get his name but he mentioned he was Ukrainian. I didn't typically go for middle eastern food. It can be bland. I thought the reviews were decent so I thought it was okay to try. Boy do I regret it. For this being similar to a chipotle the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I could have gotten a pasta dish at an expensive restaurant for just a few more dollars. I got the 50/50 bowl with falafel and chicken. Couscous as my base, light greens, Tabbouleh, cucumber dill salad, cabbage, eggplant, tzatziki sauce, hummus and pickles. It was extra for Feta and olives which I opted out of. It was $18.86. The falafel was good. It has a strong citrus and cilantro flavor which paired well with the tzatziki sauce. The eggplant, the cabbage, the Tabbouleh, the cucumber salad all desperately needed flavor. Everything was so bland. A pinch of salt and lemon would have made the world of difference. I just couldn't taste anything besides plain bland vegetables and garlic. The falafel paired well with these components but bc it was a 50/50 bowl I only received 3. The chicken was terrible. No flavor at all. The issue is that bc I didn't opt for the ridiculously expensive add ons, which would have made this a $22 meal, the meal was BLAND. The chicken DESPERATELY needs the salty olives and feta. However for fast food that comes in a bowl I just could not justify paying extra for something and it's even more appalling that the dish NEEDS the add-ons. I'm from out of town (Tucson, AZ). I understand that the influence of local culture is going to impact ethnic cuisine. Maybe people in this area don't like seasonings or spice or salt. Either way, this was a terrible waste of $18. If you're someone who likes balanced nuanced flavors, this is not the place to go. If you know you like this kind of food, I'm still not sure this is the place to go.
