The food was insanely good -- fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Every bite hit. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, made us feel taken care of right away. Came here on a Sunday night and I really enjoyed the meal with a few hiccups. Ordering via the kiosk was efficient, but by the time I ordered, I realized they had already cleaned up and closed the Sauce Bar at 8pm even though they close at 9. Portions were big but the sauces felt a bit skimpy compared to how much food you get, and the chicken leaned slightly on the dry side. That said, the "fire hummus" truly lived up to its name -- had a great kick without being overwhelming, and I loved pairing it with the crispy pita. I was actually really excited to try the truffle rice, but my order got mixed up and I ended up with saffron rice instead. We were familiar with The Kebab Shop from Fremont. But it has been a long time since we have eaten at one. You order one meat option and it comes with two sides and half portion of pita bread. We got a bunch of different ones to share and try. Portion sizes are pretty good. This is what we ordered: Lamb and beef Shawarma - this one is quite tasty. It's your classic thin sliced meat off the rotating skewer that made Kebab Shop famous. Can't go wrong with it! Saffron rice - this rice side was well done. Texture was nice with a good hint of saffron and basmati flavors. Goes well with everything. Grilled veggies - small pieces of zucchini and squash. Not a lot of flavor and kinda soggy. But it's nice to have a healthy side option. Grilled Moroccan shrimp skewers - pretty good fresh shrimp with a nice crunch. DH said it was a little too spicy. It had a sweet chili marinade with a good amount of smokiness. Really delicious with the garlic yogurt sauce. Grilled chicken - lots of flavor on this one with the marinade and the char, however, these are white meat chunks, so it did end up a little dry. Probably okay if you eat it fresh. I liked it with the cilantro sauce. Tabbouleh was very tasty. Lots of nice bright lemon flavors and the texture was pretty good. Not too soggy and not too dry. It has less parsley than what I am used to, but I would definitely get this one again. Falafel were nice and crispy. Middle was moist. They did a good job with these! Fries were crispy and tasted fine. They're regular fries, but not special. Side of hummus comes with some pita bread. Their hummus is very thick. Flavor profile is right in the middle. I might jazz it up by adding a bit of fancy EVOO. Goes really well with their thick pita bread. My favorite sauce was the garlic yogurt sauce. This one is tangy, creamy, and not that spicy with just a little hint of garlic. My least favorite sauce was the dill yogurt sauce. This one was incredibly sweet and I did not think it needed to be. I also liked the spicy cilantro sauce. DH likes to use cilantro jalapeño sauce with the chicken. He likes garlic yogurt and fire chili sauce mixed together for the shawarma. DH ordered online and said it was ready one minute before the expected pick up time. They will text you when your order is ready. The employee was nice and the shop was clean. we would definitely try this place again. read more

We ordered 3 plates for takeout and when we got home, we noticed that 2 plates had no pita bread and one had a couple of fries. We tried calling the restaurant and were put on indefinite hold when we called them 2 times. Tried ordering from the kiosk and thought I had filled out all the sections to move forward to check out but it kept prompting me to complete other sections which includes add on desserts and sides that costed money. I didn't want any of those sides. Switched to the cashier to order the Greek bowl and side of fries. When my order was ready they forgot to add my fries so I had to flag them to add the fries. The sauce station is in the back and theres usually a long line to fill with the garlic yogurt sauce because the containers were so small. Overall it's decent fast food mediterranean, but the best thing about this place is the fries. If you get them fresh its like eating piping hot McDonalds flavored fries. read more

Even For being a chain, the food was absolutely excellent! I was staying in a motel in Livermore, and fortunately their Pleasanton store delivered via DoorDash. I decided to go with the grains bowl. Grilled chicken tenderloin, saffron rice, greens, cucumber, tomato, their OG yogurt sauce, with feta cheese and pita crumbles on top. I also had a pita on the side. The bowl also came with I believe it was a tzatziki and another container of their OG sauce on the side. They were wonderful. Some of that I put extra on the bowl, some of it I used to dip the pita. They also gave me. A cup of their jalapeño cilantro hummus. It tasted good, but it had too much of a "kick" for me. It's absolutely fine, there was more than enough of the other sauces. The food was amazing. A large portion, the chicken was tender and grilled to perfection. It Had just a little bit of a char on it that added to the flavor. The saffron rice was tender and had a wonderful, savory flavor, and the veggies, feta, pita chips, and the sauce, just played very well together. The extra pita was tender and delicious. For dessert, I had a "killer brownie". It was a half brownie and half Blondie, and It had chocolate chips and M&Ms on top The brownie was wonderfully rich, and the Blondie kept it from being too rich. It was a bit soft in the middle for my personal taste, but I know that everybody is different. I still liked it a lot. Even with the DoorDash fees, the price was reasonable. I have visited this place a few times in the past. They were plenty meals. Having the plate provides a good balance with my protein choice, lamb beef and two sides, salad and rice. The best part is actually their sauces, a yogurt based with cilantro, jalapeños or chili. The simple plain cilantro based sauce was most enjoyable. I worked on the salad with the lamb beef then the rice and the protein, altogether dipped in sauce. For the drink, I chose the fountain drink where the machine gives so many flavors to select. I started with the diet Dr Pepper then the cherry diet Dr Pepper. I'm a late bloomer when it came to cherry infused carbonated sodas. Overall, a pleasant casual lunch. read more

They also have a kids eat free deal on weekends which is a good deal for both kids to share (2 and 5 year old). PARKING - it's in the Ranch 99 plaza so plenty of parking. ATMOSPHERE - it's order at the front then get seated with seating inside and outside. It's quick, clean, and good for kids. FOOD - if we have a larger group and want leftovers we get the small family meal and eat it over several days or if we have grandparents over. My favorites are the gyro/lamb meat, the rice, pita and fries. The rice is so flavorful, the pita is very fresh/soft and the fries crispy. The gyro/lamb meat is always juicy and moist and not dry. The chicken isn't as good IMO. Their sauces are also really tasty, my husband and MIL like the green one and I like the white one to spread on my pita. It didn't taste like the same quality I experienced before. I used to love the rice so much that I would even order extra, but this time it ended up being a waste.
