    Fried Chicken Sticky Rice
    Phung H.

I was so excited to give this place a try while stopping thru in the area with recommendations of the great service and food reviews. I waited a while to order since they were busy packaging other orders. I really had higher expectations Unfortunately they were out of the flan so I defaulted to Avocado. I will say the avocado che was not sweet at all but not terrible. I prefer it not be too sweet anyways. I liked the Viet coffee the most. Very bold, smooth, and plenty of ice. The fried chicken was VERY dry but the rice and flavor was good. Overall, it was worth a try but between my experience, cost, and taste, & other options available I'm not sure I'd return.

    Just opened.

I love the taro mochi chè. The avocado is good but it is sweeter than my normal tolerance. I will have to return to try more items on the menu. They just opened and the wait can be long. If you can, call ahead to order to avoid long wait time. Note to owner, should have a system for online ordering to free up employee time on the phone taking order.

    Vietnamese iced coffee with taro

This is located inside the farmer's market on pleasant hill exit (exit 104). They serve Vietnamese food, snacks, and dessert. I got their Vietnamese coffee with taro. It's...interesting. I like the coffee part a lot but the taro has a very perfume taste to it. Not the biggest fan but I would definitely go back and get the iced coffee! We also got their avocado che. A bit too sweet for my liking but still really good! It's coconut, assortments of jelly, avocado and pandan. Not the biggest fan of pandan in general but it's still better than a lot of che I've had in Atlanta.

Stood in line for 15 minutes, didn't take my order. Then left and they took the order of the lady behind me. Bad service!

My favorite is the Thai sau rieng, but my friend loves the che bo.

The Caramel Macchiato was definitely on the sweeter side, but it paired surprisingly well with the savory takoyaki. My friends and I visited after I mentioned a high school friend of mine liking this place. Once I…read morerealized where it was... I was skeptical. I do not feel as though downtown Duluth truly captures the amazing food scene of the city, but again, an old friend did like it enough to tell me about it. Inside was pretty spacious. High ceilings and bright. You have to go up front and order, and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. Pretty standard so far. It's not too loud, even with the music playing in the background, so not bad for hanging out with friends after the food is done, though we didn't. We were all pretty disappointed with our food. It wasn't bad, thankfully, it was just meh. We could've literally drove 5 minutes away for better, so we left as soon as we finished. The good thing is you get to choose what protein you want with your dish, which is nice. However, the chicken katsu here is thin. Also, the K-Fried chicken doesn't really mesh with the pasta. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. You need the egg and the protein for flavor. The Schezwan pasta wasn't even spicy. At least the carbonara was creamy as it should be.

The Second Level / Upper Floor is reserved for if you are going to be ordering/dining in for the pastas and/or savory foods. I only tried their coffee today on the first level. I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. There was no password on the receipt, only a QR Code that you need to scan. Overall - Yes I would recommend this place for a nice little coffee stop. Check it out for yourself. Enjoy!

I stopped this time to have my mother try a croffle for the first time ever. We both ordered the Lotus croffle, and I also had a strawberry lemonade. My mom purchased mini pecan cookies to take home. All were delicious! I love that their desserts are just sweet enough without being overly sugary. A perfect laid back cafe with ample seating for studying, quick meetings, or coffee dates.

I decided on the Crème Brûlée Croffle it was delicious and will definitely return and order that flavor again. I can understand why the Crème Brûlée is the best seller. There's plenty of spacious seating inside, this is an overall place to come study or meet up and talk for a girls afternoon out over matcha or coffee. I also ordered mango matcha and I did not like it very much as it was not sweet at all. The young lady said she could adjust the sweetness. It didn't work for me this time so I'll try it again my next visit and stress that I'd like it sweetened a lot little more than the usual sweetness. UPDATE: Earlier I said I didn't like my Mango Matcha, now I have to change that once I put the straw in my cut and stirred the matcha it was delicious. I didn't realize I shouldn't drink it from the cup without stirring first. I feel so silly now. I changed my four stars to five stars and a newbie like me now will know to stir the matcha first. I received an awards card after ten stamps I believe I get a free item. Sounds fun. Parking is not a problem there's plenty. I can't wait to visit here again.
