These pancakes are soft, good and fun to play with bc they are sooo jiggly! Some of my friends aren't the biggest fans, but that's because they can taste the egg used for these pancakes. It's very eggy to them, which is fair, you do need more eggs than normal pancakes to make them. I don't mind at all, but they are a lot to eat alone. Good to share with friends, though it can get a bit messy to eat. I also tried a drink here, the lychee genmaicha, and it was nice. Lots of drink options in Duluth, but since I was already here, I thought that I might as well get a drink and see if it's any good. Now I'm curious about their food. When we arrived, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. The café was completely empty, and we were the only customers, yet it felt like the very young and seemingly inexperienced staff didn't want to be bothered. They were on their phones the entire time, even while we were speaking to them, and barely looked up or acknowledged us. My friends and I saw this place on TikTok and absolutely had to try it. We came on a Saturday and seating was very scarce. Thankfully we found some outside in the front. We ordered one order of the the Nutella banana pancakes. Wait time wasn't bad for them. The absolute best part was the jiggle of these pancakes. Taste wise it was a 7/10. The portions are huge and I think 2-3 people should share one, especially if you are already full from a main meal. The pancakes were warm and fluffy. The signature was my favorite. Good amount of fruit and tasty syrup, not too sweet! The carmelized bananas on the creme brulee was on point, but some friends said it was a bit too eggy for them. The matcha white chocolate was a bit disappointing bc the only white chocolate was in the form of chocolate chips which texture wise didn't go well with the pancakes. Came here on a Saturday lunchtime and place was packed! A few tables out front were open but we got the last table inside. Menu is mainly the fluffy soufflé pancakes, with three separate classes of flavours, basic with minimal toppings, and two separate categories for other toppings (we got biscoff and crème brûlée flavours - both excellent)! The pancakes all come with whipped cream and ice cream as accompaniment, some have a special sauce on the side. They also have croffle sandwich (croissant waffles) and some savoury options (Benedicts and an egg and bacon soufflé with special sauce) options so not all sweet here. Also have a menu of drinks which none of us tried. Prices are a bit on the higher end, $15+ for each, though one is realistically enough for two to split and be fully satisfied. Staff are nice, order at the counter and pick it up when pancake is ready. Soufflés will take 15 mins to make as they are making them fresh. In an increasingly busy strip mall on pleasant hill so parking is free but when busy you are competing with a bunch of other restaurants, cafes, and Teso life. When you walk in you're met with a beautiful decorated space . Due to the hype it's very packed but they have a great system in place after you order if it's to go or dine in they give you an electronic buzzer that rings when your order is ready . If you've seen these on Instagram and how jiggly & soft they looked, well they certainly were. The cashier was friendly and helpful and gave recommendations when I asked for them. I ordered the raspberry and caramelized banana pancake and a regular coffee. You're given a buzzer (just like when you waiting for a table at other restaurants) to let you know when your order is ready. Drinks come out first so you'll have to maneuver your way around the line a bit. Don't forget to keep your buzzer! It'll go off again for your food. The wait was minimal and well worth it. The coffee was made well and the pancakes were amazing! Keep in mind these aren't regular pancakes, they are souffle pancakes so they are y'all, light and a bit eggy. Mine came with raspberries, blackberries and cream on top with the banana on the side. I was impressed with the crunch on that caramelized banana! We had to wait about an hour for our order. We placed it at 1:39 PM and we received it at 2:37 So which review are you going to believe? Was the souffle pancake worth it? I mean, it's a pancake that is definitely fluffy, but again is it worth it? I think if it was 10-20 minutes, sure. But if you're waiting anything longer than that I don't think it would be. Another thing about the whole wait time was that they don't seem to track their orders quite correctly.
