    Fluffy Pancakes options
    Annabel r.

The pancakes are so fluffy and soft. The caramelized banana was a perfect touch! It paired so well together. It also had a bit of ice cream and extra blueberry jam in the side. The place is small and not suitable for large groups. However, it is very clean and comfortable. You can order on your own or with the cashier. Definitely give it a try but it may be too much sweetness! I think you could share one between two people.

Quaint and well decorated spot. Sweet employees serving soufflé style pancakes with multiple flavors. Keep in mind the flavor can be a bit egg heavy

Setting is very vibrant and they offer complimentary cucumber lemon water. I enjoyed their regular fluffy pancakes and gonna try the French toast probably. Most of the other locations open later so there is never a parking issue in the morning.

The name does not dissapoint, these pancakes are straight out of Studio Ghibli with the texture, I almost felt like I was eating a cloud. However, the taste left a bit to be desired. The taste of egg in the pancakes nearly overpowered the sweet glaze and whipped cream. The price point was kind of steep, and the music really clashed with the ambiance. Wait time was not bad, we waited about 15 min for 3 plates. Overall fairly average, nice place for a quick sweet treat, preferably to go.

Came by on a Friday night and it was pretty busy, we hovered for a bit until a table became free. Got to try the signature pancakes, creme brulee, and the matcha white chocolate. The portions are huge and I think 2-3 people should share one, especially if you are already full from a main meal. The pancakes were warm and fluffy. The signature was my favorite. Good amount of fruit and tasty syrup, not too sweet! The carmelized bananas on the creme brulee was on point, but some friends said it was a bit too eggy for them. The matcha white chocolate was a bit disappointing bc the only white chocolate was in the form of chocolate chips which texture wise didn't go well with the pancakes. I would have much preferred a white choco ganache or syrup to go over it. There was also generic vanilla ice cream on the side. I would return to try other flavors - there doesn't seem to be many other Japanese pancake spots but maybe I haven't found em yet.

Crème brûlée and bacon egg pancake

Came here on a Saturday lunchtime and place was packed! A few tables out front were open but we got the last table inside. Menu is mainly the fluffy soufflé pancakes, with three separate classes of flavours, basic with minimal toppings, and two separate categories for other toppings (we got biscoff and crème brûlée flavours - both excellent)! The pancakes all come with whipped cream and ice cream as accompaniment, some have a special sauce on the side. They also have croffle sandwich (croissant waffles) and some savoury options (Benedicts and an egg and bacon soufflé with special sauce) options so not all sweet here. Also have a menu of drinks which none of us tried. Prices are a bit on the higher end, $15+ for each, though one is realistically enough for two to split and be fully satisfied. Staff are nice, order at the counter and pick it up when pancake is ready. Soufflés will take 15 mins to make as they are making them fresh. In an increasingly busy strip mall on pleasant hill so parking is free but when busy you are competing with a bunch of other restaurants, cafes, and Teso life. Overall much better than we expected, had a great time!

Parking Parking is plentiful, it is in a strip mall. Restaurant/Food I arrived at this spot at about 1100 am, plenty of seating. I ordered from the kiosk and food was ready in under 10 minutes. I ordered the Biscoff pancakes. The presentation of the pancakes was awesome. They were fluffy, airy and melt in your mouth. The whipped topping on the pancakes is to die for. This spot is definitely a do over. Health score is 100.

Japanese Pancakes were delicious but overpriced. The egg chair seating covers need to be washed and there needs to be a better job wiping down the tables after people leave.

When you walk in you're met with a beautiful decorated space . Due to the hype it's very packed but they have a great system in place after you order if it's to go or dine in they give you an electronic buzzer that rings when your order is ready . Since it's very small and you're dealing with a long wait some people will sit down occupying dine in seats waiting for their Togo order which is a bit frustrating. Especially when the space is already small . So we ordered ours to go and people waiting for their to go orders got us we were able to sit down . We ordered the strawberry and the cream brûlée. While the presentation was beautiful and true to all the videos the flavor was very unsettling. Clearly it's egg based but it tasted like a plain egg omelette . Curious if in your recipe do you put any vanilla , almond extract in the batter , just something to bring in some sweetness to the dessert . For the strawberries I wish it came with more of the strawberry jam the 1 ounce cup wasn't enough it should have come in the same container as the whipped cream which was more than enough . Sadly the entire dessert was very underwhelming and unapaitizing in flavor again very egg forward even the cream brûlée was hard to eat it was like a crème brûlée egg. We also ordered the Peach soda drink and a mango soda drink which was amazing . Calm and friendly staff . Remember be paitient the wait is long .

Best soufflé pancakes ever! There's a handful of soufflé pancake options to choose from. Was really debating on the original or strawberry and ended up with the latter; best decision for sure. If you've seen these on Instagram and how jiggly & soft they looked, well they certainly were. Rich egg flavored, soft, batter that just melted in your mouth; I was able to cut these apart like butter. The sauce on top was a little too sweet for my taste so I brushed most of it off but it still gave the pancakes a nice flavor that wasn't overwhelming. Each order comes with 2 soufflé pancakes stacked on top of each other. It was about $15 per order, so definitely isn't towards the "cheap" side, but it's such a good dessert, it was totally worth it and the experience. Seating was a challenge as during most their business hours, the place is pretty packed with limited tables, but they do have few tables outside. It's also not as loud inside, so you can converse without having too much difficulty hearing. Overall a great experience and definitely looking forward to be back. If you're looking for soufflé pancakes, this place is for sure worth the try.

There is so much they could improve on to make this a 5 star experience... unfortunately it seems there is no management to oversee the front customer facing area. I ordered 3 dishes plus a hot tea, why did I wait 30 minutes plus for my tea? All the dishes came out one at a time and my hot tea was last! The pancakes and waffles were good, presentation and taste! Too bad the overall experience has gone down.

A soufflé pancake is a light, fluffy delight that feels like eating a sweet cloud. With its airy texture, subtle sweetness, and melt-in-your-mouth consistency, it offers a perfect balance of indulgence and elegance. A nearly flawless recipe, carefully slow-cooked to create a soft, cloud-like texture. Fluffy soufflé pancakes are irresistibly delicious with just the right amount of sweetness, beautifully topped with homemade sauces and fresh fruit for an elegant presentation. They serve savory croffles--a delightful blend of croissant and waffle--with a range of options for both veggie and meat lovers, making for a truly satisfying meal. Paired with handcrafted pastries, cheesecakes, and beverages, it's a treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. Visit their Pleasant Hill location in Duluth if you're inspired by creative cuisine!

First time here, girl who took our order was friendly, many choices looked good. We tried the strawberry soufflé pancake. So good! They have plenty of other flavors like Cookies and Cream, Biscoff, Nutella, banana etc. they have a few breakfast options that sound delicious, can't wait to try. Plus teas, lattes and frappe

They charge $5 for their croissant, which was where it falls short. If it were the best croissant I ever had, perhaps. No substitutions. Always hated this rule for every restaurant, but I get it if you have a special and hundreds of customers. We were one of 3 parties on a weekday brunch, super slow. We also ordered the traditional breakfast and a kids breakfast. But instead of bacon, we wanted a croissant for the kids meal. They are both $5 in the menu when ordered separately. First the server said they didnt know (weird) then said they would check and left for 5 minutes. The answer was no. So I paid an extra $5 and added a croissant. I ate the bacon, which improved my salmon Benedict. But neither the croissant nor bacon felt like $5. Kids meal is now the cost of a regular. So I recommend if you dont want any substitutions, try this place. I wont be coming back. It really irks me that you cant just put bread instead of bacon on a kids meal. You aren't a robot, and you are not busy. You are also not getting me as a patron anymore. P.S. the Croissant alone was not worth $5. I rate it a 3 out of 5 on its own.

The second time I came back we were greeted with a 30-min wait, which was expected due to the weekend and peak hour. But to our surprise we were actually seated within 15-minutes. While we waited, I used the restroom for the first time and it was clean and smelled fresh with cute decor. We were served with drinks right away and our server was very pleasant and accommodating. We looked at the menu beforehand, but last minute my husband and I decided to try recommended dishes. Here's our spread: Strawberry Short stack - 5/5 Sausage and egg biscuit with - 4/5 Cowboy omelette - 5/5 Chicken & Waffles - 5/5 Philly Fries Meal - 5/5 Bottomless Sweet Tea - 5/5 The pancakes were moist and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. My daughter swore she'd eat the entire stack, but of course we knew otherwise. My mother in law enjoyed the sausage and egg biscuit, the sausage was a little more well done than she'd like but everything was seasoned well. The Philly fries were a surprise due to its massive size. My family demolished it. It was seasoned well with the right balance of meat, onions and cheese, my daughter wanted to it all by herself lol. The Cowboy omelette was also massive. The eggs cooked well stuffed with all the fixings - they definitely didn't skimp on it. Topped with fresh guacamole and salsa it was a delight. The chicken and waffles was recommended by our server and my husband was amazed by the whole dish. The balance of sweet and salty and the textures were perfect. The crunch of the chicken didn't take away from the moist meat. He created his "perfect bite" with a piece of chicken and waffles and it was heavenly. I'd definitely get it for myself next time. The waffle had a slight bite but also moist. I've experienced dry waffles before and this proved otherwise. Overall the experience was great. The service was excellent especially during a rush hour. Also we were very happy to see the Christmas decor. It really felt like a hometown feel and we enjoyed every minute. Definitely have Oy! on your list for brunch with the family!
