The matcha is VERY light , more like lightly flavored milk. BUT the taro foam is amazing, super thick, creamy, and sweet (almost cotton candy vibes). This feels more like a dessert drink than a true matcha latte. Mini Cake SO cute buttercream frosting which has a firm texture, cake slightly dry, with a layer of milk cream inside. Cute for pics, but not that super soft, airy Korean cake you might expect. Madeleines Got these for a coworker's birthday . I like they packaged it cutely. My first time trying madeleine, but we thought were a bit dry (could be because we ate them ~8 hours later). read more

The bakery is very small, with limited seating, and a tiny lunchbox cake was $21.50 while most specialty drinks were $7+. They mainly serve coffee and matcha, with only a couple of decaf options. Seasonal drinks like the Peachinno are a nice addition, and there's a single unisex restroom. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great place to relax or work. The music was very loud, and because the space is so compact, every time the blender was running it became difficult to have a conversation or focus. WIFI is very spotty. What an adorable little cafe and had to Stop by to check out their viral drinks! I wanted to get their bear lattes but it seemed a bit too sweet for my liking. I ended up getting an earl gray latte and luckily my friend and I were able to snatch the remaining empty table. My latte was actually super yummy and for the first time not overly sweet! It had a faint early gray taste and loved the milk cream foam on top. After mixing the foam, the drink got a bit sweeter but was the optimal sweetness level. My friend got a matcha and was able to get it unsweetened and she loved her drink as well! Overall, a super cute spot and plan on coming back to try their next viral drink! read more

Coming in from a late flight from NY and I've been wanting a Banana Matcha all day, and I came across this really cute cafe near our hotel. It was clean, spacious, and had a pleasant staff that was friendly and welcoming. After viewing some of the items on display, I ordered an Egg Salad Sandwich, and my husband had the Club Sandwich. They were exactly what we needed to end our day - a really good and guilt-free meal. While there, we also ordered a few drinks: the Yuzzu Ginger Lemonade, the Pretty and Pink beverage (a Hibiscus Lemonade), and a Banana Matcha. Everything was amazing! We even tried their Earl Grey Scone and it was soft, lightly flavored, and satisfying. We'd absolutely return and would highly recommend this spot to others. read more

Finally had time to attend this cute little cafe I had seen all over social media and was happy by how low velocity it was! Upon entering you are blown away by their sweets selection and so many vibrant and cute options! I ordered a cloud matcha latte along with a mini cake and it was a bit pricey from the cake alone. The server was very sweet and handed us the cake first and even allowed me to pick out the color I wanted The drink itself did take some time to come out as it has to be carefully crafted. Once it was ready they called out my order by what substitutions I got and not my name. The cake was decent, very tiny and I felt a bit overpriced for the amount of cake you're eating. I also was super excited for the drink but was a little underwhelmed by the amount of cream to matcha ratio. It was very hard to mix together as well. The cream was very thick and hard to get through the straw but the presentation was absolutely beautiful. Overall, I do wish they had more searing as it a very small space and seating can be hard to come by. Service was amazing. Pricey but beautiful presentation. The moment you walk in, it feels like you've been whisked away into a charming little French-inspired café with cozy, intimate vibes. It's not a huge space, so maybe not ideal for big groups, but absolutely perfect for a date or a catch-up with a friend. Right at the front, you're greeted with a selection of Korean breads and snacks, with even more tucked into the back case. And then... the dessert case. So many beautifully crafted desserts and Korean-style cakes. It's honestly hard to choose just one. Now let's talk about the real star: the viral butter mochi cookies. These are next-level. Perfectly chewy with just the right texture, and that condensed milk dipping sauce? Completely divine. Together, it's a combo you'll keep thinking about long after you leave. I'm still dreaming about them. And fair warning- you absolutely cannot have just one. I'd love to see them expand with dipping sauces like Nutella, chocolate, matcha or fruity (strawberry, blueberry) options because that would take it even further. I also really enjoyed their sweet potato salt bread. It was perfectly filled and baked. Very lovely texture. Their specialty drinks are just as impressive (and gorgeous). I tried the iced banana matcha latte drink, and it's easily one of the best banana drinks I've ever had. The banana flavor tastes real- not artificial style and it pairs so smoothly with the matcha. Super refreshing and well-balanced. Also, the iced strawberry matcha latte here is equally lovely if you're a matcha lover like me. I'm totally obsessed with latte art and Cafe Soon delivered! Service was friendly and prompt. Cafe Soon has something really special going on, and I genuinely hope they continue to thrive. I came here with a friend after seeing its grand opening last weekend. The location was a bit hard to find on Google Maps and Waze, but it's in the same strip as digital car audio. It was really busy on a Saturday afternoon. The cafe is really cutely decorated with soft tones and plenty of space to sit inside. The inventory was a bit low when I stopped by, but luckily we were here for the caffeine! We got their signature drinks- enchanted matcha (which is matcha latte with a shot of espresso) and earl grey latte. They are both sweeten and you will need to mix it so the flavors blend in. They are both delicious and flavorful. The baristas were friendly and helpful. I will return another time to try their pastries. I like the variety of soon's bakery (sister store) but this location seems to be popular. Hope to see more when they are more established. read more

However, space is very tight and there unfortunately aren't a lot of seating so plan on going right at opening or during off peak hours. Overall, their cakes, pastries, and their drinks weren't particularly outstanding. They were decent. Cakes are really cute though and I really appreciated how they have mini cakes. This is such a cute Korean cafe in Duluth! The interior decoration is very warm and homey, and they sell a variety of breads, sweets, and cakes. My niece found Cafe Soon on Yelp, and we decided it would be the perfect pre-dinner stop before heading to Nando's (after an unnecessarily intense family debate about where to eat). We made a whole outing of it. My nephew drove up from Georgia Tech, and naturally the plan evolved into "we'll buy you dinner and fund your Trader Joe's haul," which honestly feels like peak family bonding. Now, onto the drinks. I ordered the Earl Grey Cream Latte, fully expecting that cozy, tea-forward flavor. Unfortunately... Earl Grey was nowhere to be found. I kept sipping like, "maybe it's subtle?" It was not subtle. It was missing. It basically tasted like a standard iced coffee you could get anywhere, which was a letdown. My niece got the vanilla matcha and gave it a thumbs up, so not all was lost. There are definitely some wins on the menu. That said, I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back for drinks. It wasn't bad by any means, just not memorable enough to justify a repeat visit when there are so many strong coffee spots around. The highlight? The staff. Checked out the new Cafe Soon. It was on a busy Friday and was a little tricky to find, but find it I did and there was decent amount of parking which was nice. The area inside was cutely decorated with treats on display as you enter and then you order your drinks at the counter. I had the berry matcha which was good. There was limited seating and the area around the register and pickup areas were pretty tight. I look forward to coming back on a less crowded day and trying more menu items. read more

This place was a disappointment. We were here about 1 week after they officially opened and the place was packed which was expected. The seating was very tight and small. You felt congested. Unfortunately the place smelled like feet the second you walk in. The drinks weren't too bad but they also felt like they were drowned in oak milk and regular milk. No coffee essence to them. Very cozy and small space. The desserts are so cute. I ordered a berry matcha, it was delicious. The only complaint I have is that it's a very small cup. After a few sips I was done with my drink. The matcha you see in this picture was around $8.50 because I added oat milk. The taste was good but it's just a little too sweet. I'm not sure if you can adjust the sugar levels but if you can I would recommend to get the berry matcha with less sugar. I would maybe come back and order one of their cloud lattes. read more
