I came here late on a Friday night with some girlfriends, and I honestly felt so bad because we arrived about 45 minutes before closing! But the workers were so sweet and welcoming and didn't rush us at all. They let us enjoy our girls' night and even allowed us to hang out and finish our desserts until closing. We ordered a few crepe cakes, and they were SO good! They weren't overly sweet, which I loved. We also got the taro bread, and OMG... that was seriously addicting! I almost ate the entire bag in one sitting! I'll definitely be back to try more of their other goodies. Such a cute spot with such sweet staff! read more

I thought their Taro Cake was sensational last time, so stopped in to pick up 2 different flavors to go... Again, I was disappointed that they didn't have the Matcha flavor (so for this, I'm docking another star). Also, their Taro Cake has changed for the worse. They no longer have mochi balls on top. Just check out the picture of the one I got last time...totally different. MUCH better before. In fact, the 2 flavors I got (Taro Cake and Ube Coconut looked about the same). I went there for the snow ice because of all their pictures on yelp.I was disappointed, that they stopped making snow ice. but everything I ate there was super delicious and they had this fabulous drink drinks like peach coffee Americano that I've never seen any other restaurant, bakery or Café. their cakes and bake goods were just as good . This is a very cute cafe located in Duluth. I ordered the Mango Lemon Tea with lychee and it tasted very refreshing! I would definitely go back and try more items on their menu. The service was okay. I've had this place on my radar for over a year, and I'm SO glad I finally found the time to visit. I'm not someone who gets cake often, but my friends and I wanted to have a small celebration, and the cakes here are perfect for that with the variety of options they have. The cakes are soft and airy, and the cream is very smooth. The desserts are not overly sweet, especially the strawberry matcha, and the fruits used, if any, are fresh. Which is why, I absolutely had to get a fruit tea, and it did not disappoint in the slightest! There was a lot of orange used (if you don't like pulp, this drink is not for you) and actual bits of mango, so I did not add any toppings. The drinks here are larger than other places with their regular/standard size and $2 upgrade for their largest size. *If you buy a cake, they give a disposable take away cooler bag that intends to keep the cake cool for transport! I find this very nice and haven't seen this in other bakeries that also offer cake. read more

This little bakery is so cute and charming! The service was quick and friendly. My friends and I ordered Mango Pomelo, Strawberry Matcha, and Earl Grey Tiramisu to share. The Strawberry Matcha cake had amazing texture, soft moist cake and buttery mousse, and had an earthy matcha flavor. There was little to no sweetness to this cake but it was still enjoyable. Earl Grey Tiramisu was delectable! It was topped with a Biscoff cookie on top. There was slight sweetness to this cake. The star of the show for me was the Mango Pomelo! The mango flavor was sweet and the pomelo fruit elevated the flavor of the cake. It was a perfect, refreshing cake! I would come back to eat the whole Mango Pomelo cake box again! read more

Upon reading the reviews I was excited about trying this place out. Pictures of the pastry's look amazing! So a friend and I drove there around opening time which was at 10:30am. Walk in I didn't see any pastry's lay out. We ask the worker there she said it wasn't ready but we can order and they will make it for us. So we decided to come back at noon. Lunchtime! At 12. Walk in same nothing was ready! We ask the worker he said it being bags. But what would we like. Me personally I would like to see the desert,bread, cake displays so I would have an ideal of what I wanted to buy. I think the place would gain more business!! They have the order kiosks, which are pretty simple to use and organized to allow pretty quick look through and ordering. I went with a simple Americano. My significant other got the salted egg bread and the Purple Rice Wow Milk. The Americano was good. Not too watered down and still had a good coffee flavor. The salted egg bread was delicious and would definitely recommend. The Purple Rice Wow Milk was also tasty. It was a little sweet even when ordered with no sugar, so if you don't like your drinks too sweet I would definitely go for less sugar. Can be easy to miss since it kind of stands alone in front of a plaza, but if you see it and have the time definitely recommend stopping in to give them a try! read more

I got the Strawberry Box Cake. I will say the strawberries were very fresh and were delicious, however the box was literally 90% whipped cream and little cake. Not sure if all the cake boxes are like that, but I would maybe have more cake in them. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have much in store. I saw online they had matcha rolls, but unfortunately they were out. Same with a matcha strawberry cake box. It's a pretty small place. It gets crowded (probably because they just opened) but I was bumping into people and their kids were running into me. There wasn't enough seating. I have been waiting for this place to open and we saw the soft opening sign on Christmas Day and made a quick stop. They were consistently busy when I stopped by. The place is bright and cutely decorated with plenty of parking around. I love the display of cakes and got a taro cake. Their drinks are bogo during the soft opening plus free item promotion if you spend $30+. I ended up ordering triple mill tea and taro milk tea. I love the taro milk tea because it actually had real pieces of taro in it. The boba is chewy and perfect! The options for sweetness is 0, 50 & 100% and the 50% is just right for me. The triple milk tea was packed with boba, purple rice and oats. It was good, but the taro one was better in my opinion. Service was on the slower side since only one person was taking order and a few made the drinks. They were all really nice and answered any questions I had. I stopped by for dessert, but will try the boba drinks next time. I got the Purple Rice Taro Towel Cake, which was delicious! The "towel" was crepe like and texture super soft to cut into. The purple rice added contrast to texture. I got the matcha cake as well. I loved how the matcha flavor was strong in the cake and the cream, which is not always the case. A cute and small little shop off of PIB! The workers were very nice! We called in for a pick-up order and they were quick to ring us up. They took great care in prepping our food, and the packaging is super adorable! Each drink had a cute sleeve, they gave us sporks, and even a super adorable reusable, insulated bag! The drinks were great. The grape lime tea was refreshing! They use grape jello, which had the texture of grass jelly but the light taste of grape. The strawberry yakult was also very good! The strawberry flavor was strong and didn't just taste like I went to the grocery store and am drinking straight yakult, which was nice. Also had little chewy bits at the bottom. Definitely would recommend these drinks! The cakes were unique, since there are not many places where you can get chestnut cakes around here. The sponge cake layers were light and bouncy, and texturally these were great. Flavors of taro and chestnut definitely came through with the generous layers of taro cream and chestnut paste. The only disappointment was that the cakes weren't very sweet at all, so it tasted more like a chestnut or taro bread which was a little strange. They are so good and have great presentation. The boba teas are amazing as well, the tapioca pearls are not too sweet, which I love because in most places they are and I get headaches from them.
