Mozart Bakery has been around for at least a decade from what I can remember about this area, and it's still standing and relatively busy, which is a p good sign imo. I've stopped by occasionally, and there's always been people around. My most recent visit, I was even here for multiple hours on my laptop. For those looking for a place to work/study, there's plenty of seating BUT a lot of the outlets are blocked. There is one near the windows, but it not ideal... people who walk by usually trip, and once, my cable was even pulled out with the force of one guy's walk. There are a variety of pastry options and some food, all pretty standard for Korean bakeries. The drinks aren't as comparable to other places in Duluth, and within this plaza, there is competition. One of my favorite bakeries!! The atmosphere is very welcoming, good service. Plenty of room inside for seating to munch on a treat or get some work done! LOVE the sweet treats, they are fresh! Very few vegan options. This place is disappointing if you've got allergens. They only have mochi and a few breads that are vegan friendly, yet they label the allergens in all the displays. And they have a sheet near the register specifically listing their vegan and gluten-free options. For a place seemingly so allergen-conscious, the actual options are very limited. :( read more

On our recent trip to Duluth, my husband was able to walk across the street to this bakery for breakfast. Though he didn't take pictures, he really liked it. We also enjoyed dessert one night...and we loved their Strawberry Tart and Blueberry Chiffon Cake! A really nice cafe atmosphere. They have a large selection of breads, cake, pastries. We got the red bean fish waffle and some drinks. Attempted to order one of their seasonal drink and was told by the cashier that they were out of it. So we order something else; however, the group behind us order the drink and got them. Overall, I like the aesthetic of Mozart Bakery. I got an egg avocado sandwich, which could have had more seasoning. I like how they do a free coffee with purchase of brunch. The brunch free coffee is until 11am, but the brunch menu ends at 3pm. I tried the 3 brunch options- all were good Outlets are very limited though. Seats are spacious and fit the atmosphere. Food Out of everything I tried, I enjoyed the strawberry tart. The filling was good tasting and not overly sweet. The crust on it was good but slightly soggy. Service It was fine, just a bit slow. Driven by Mozart several times and finally went in on my day off. Very spacious sitting area with tall ceilings. Lots of bakery options packaged to take to go. The bakery case with different desserts was filled with delights. I ordered a milk tea with boba, avocado and egg sandwich and picked up a strawberry croissant for dessert. The tea was a standard milk tea and the strawberry croissant was delicious and not sweet. The sandwich was fine- kind of messy with the fillings and perhaps a more robust bread would hold up better than the croissant. I look forward to trying more options in future visits. read more

The drink menu is large with plenty of customizable options for the drinks in terms of extra espresso, and syrups, but you will still find the coffee classics to be well made. The cakes and pastries are all spectacular. Choose from individual slices or entire cakes. The red velvet cake and the sweet potato cake are both favorites of mine. This might be my favorite cafe/bakery in the Duluth area! The interior is so aesthetically pleasing and well-designed. If you have a chance to go during the holidays, their decorations are always so pretty. It's best to visit during the daytime because of the natural light streaming through the windows (and bakeries always have more pastry options earlier in the day). Two friendly staff members greeted me when I was browsing the glass case filled with slices of cake and pastries. I actually went to a different cafe first but it was too busy and chaotic, so I came here to Mozart and the environment was much more relaxed and peaceful. Highly recommend! read more

1. Bought a birthday cake (blueberry chiffon). Asked if it was fresh from the morning bake. They said it was. It wasn't. It was dry and hard to eat. We were very disappointed with either by their poor quality control or just flat out dishonesty. 2. Gave them another chance after several months. Had another bad outing. This time one of the employee was flat out rude. Ordered a decaf americano and we ended up getting a regular. Noticed it was a regular after taking a small sip. Asked them to remake it. They refused because the person who took the order heard regular, and the receipt stated regular coffee. Regardless what the receipt said, clearly there was a miscommunication, but they were not willing to accommodate. They flat out said we had to repurchase the coffee. They said it's their POLICY! Of all my years of going to Korean cafes, this was my first miserable experience. 3. Bottom line, avoid! We came by yesterday after flying in from NY, to get some coffee. I had the iced mocha with coconut milk then and we bought a tiramisu cake for my birthday. And then the iced caramel macchiato with coconut milk today. The coffee is great and so was the tiramisu! My only gripe is that the tiramisu turned out to be a cheesecake (when I brought it up with the bakery today, they said it's a mousse) and I was NOT expecting that when we started eating it last night. Mozart is a staple Korean bakery that I go to for a standard coffee and pastry. When I used to go to Jeju Sauna, I would stop by Mozart to take snacks with me. I asked the Ajumma (Korean Lady) what is inside the croquettes and she told me beef along with other things. I was so excited I could finally eat a croquette because a lot of them have pork in them. I would make it a habit to stop there and buy a croquette with my coffee. A year has passed and I decided to go back and get a croquette. The interior of Mozart is so much nicer and the drink options are amazing. When I looked at the croquette sign it said they contain pork. I asked another employee and she mentioned they've always contained pork. I felt lied to and was somewhat upset but it is what it is. If you have allergies or can't eat certain foods I would not rely on Mozart to be transparent. Besides that the coffee and ambience is very nice. read more

Cafe Mozart is a Korean cafe/bakery chain with several locations in metro Atlanta. This location in Duluth can be found at Mall Corners near I-85 and Pleasant Hill Rd. Mall Corners is a sprawling shopping center. Mozart is across the parking lot from Iron Age and Sydney's Buffet and across the street from Myung Ga Won (Korean BBQ). I think this is the biggest of all the Mozart bakeries in Atlanta. While the business is Korean, the theme is European. The calm atmosphere, cozy environment, and free Wi-Fi makes this an ideal place to work, study, and grab coffee and snacks with friends and family. Seating consists of several spacious booths with heightened partitions for increased privacy. There are some large tables so groups can meet and hang out here as well. This place has been around for years and it shows through worn booth cushions, chairs, and scratched wooden tables. The other Mozart stores are in better condition. At Cafe Mozart, you can find assorted fresh-baked goods including breads, snacks, pastries, cakes, and also coffees and teas, including bubble tea. This is a popular place to purchase cakes for special occasions, especially birthdays and anniversaries. A few foods I've tried at this location include the Nut Tart ($1.99), Fresh Cream and Soboro Bread ($1.69), and Macarons ($1.49 each). The Nut Tart is a compact and delicious pie-like treat packed with nuts and a sweet filling. Almost like a pecan pie. It reminds me of the miniature nut pies my mom used to get at Dewey's Bakery in Winston-Salem, NC. It's great for a small energy boost and pretty delicious. Try one. At Asian bakeries such as White Windmill and Sweet Hut, I typically steer towards buns with sweet cream. Mozart's Fresh Cream and Soboro Bread is just that. They have another version without cream, labeled simply as Soboro Bread. According to the labels, Soboro at Mozart translates into "Biscuit" Bread. It's not like Southern-style biscuit bread though. It's soft, sweet, and very crumbly (in a good way). It's a nice sized bun with a very light and tasty cream filling. I highly recommend. At $1.49 each, the Macarons are a good deal. However, you get what you pay for. The macarons are hit or miss -- mostly miss. I recommend the vanilla flavor. Do not order the green tea macarons. The cream is bitter and frankly, disgusting. I love Cafe Mozart Bakery, why? Because I love Chinese (鲜奶水果蛋糕) styled whipped cream fruit cakes, (Korean name Saeng cream cake). So technically, that makes me a fruit cake right? Probably, just not a nutty one. 8 years ago, one of my best friends who is Cantonese purchased me one of these cakes right here at Cafe Mozart Bakery for my birthday, and ever since, it has become a tradition to pick-up one every year for my birthday. Usually the only birthday cakes I like are the ones made with butter cream, because they are less sweat than the regular frosting cakes. Still, butter cream has tons of sugar. However, these fruit cakes are extremely light and fluffy with their moist sponge cake interior and smooth creamy cool whip type exterior, and then they are topped with delicious fresh fruit. I do not care that this bakery does not have free Wi-Fi. All that I care about is that I enjoy what I pay for and that the staff has a good professional demeanor. So far I have not experienced any issues with staff, nor the cakes. They have a beautiful and nice selection of baked goods displayed here. However, I have not tried them, as I am not a big pastry type of guy, but they sure do look tempting to try. If your friends call you a fruit cake, or you just love fruit cakes, give this place a try. They can be a little pricy, even for a small one, they are over $30, but you are paying for quality. I am biased but I love Mozart bakery. There are many Korean bakeries around in the Duluth area. But none of them have the red bean and walnut breads. I love that Mozart sells them in these bite sized form so it's easy to eat. But try these with coffee and it's a dream. The other bakery items are similar to what other bakeries sell. Since Mozart isn't as popular compared to tree story, the advantage is that every time I come here. Coroquette is an abundant here.
