Moo Tea is a MOOd My friend kept raving to me about Moo Tea so I took my parents after lunch for a light dessert of boba and bento cakes. The interior is cute! Decor is clean and very Insta! Seating is fairly limited but we had no problem securing a table on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a few drinks and a tiramisu bento cake to share. I decided to try the matcha mochi latte, which was super creamy but not too sweet. I loved the mochi on the bottom even more than the rest of the drink, but overall the drink was delicious. My mom really liked her rose grapefruit tea, as the server recommended the floral option based on my mom's requests. My dad basically chugged his red bean milk tea, so pretty sure he enjoyed it. They also really appreciated the quality of their drink cups - and ended up reusing them as water cups for a couple weeks afterward lol. The tiramisu bento cake was tasty - not necessarily a tiramisu, more like a chocolate espresso cake? But still a semi sweet, moist and creamy treat. Overall, a great dessert option in Duluth if you're looking for more than just boba (although they do have plenty of drink options). I definitely need to stop in again soon to try their other desserts! read more

Cute place! The interior is aesthetically pink with a selection of pastries, buns and sweets. We ordered our drinks from the self-order kiosk, and the lady who made them was very kind. The drinks taste pretty tea-forward, so depending on your tastes that could be preferred or not. The lemon pineapple jasmine had a bit of bitterness to it from the lemon peel, but I appreciated the addition of fresh fruit in the drink. Overall, the drinks were not bad! read more

I tried the Rose Lychee Crepe Cake ($9) and the White Peach Oolong Cheese Cream Tea ($5.25). The cake looked beautiful but unfortunately, my friends and I found it a bit bland. Moo Tea is located on Pleasant Hill Rd in Duluth, GA. If you're familiar with the area than you already know Duluth is like Bubble Tea heaven in terms of selection. This place serves fruit teas, milk teas, and even some coffee based drinks as well to name a few. They also have desserts like pastries and cakes. The interior is bright and modern and spacious. Lots of times you can find people chilling and relaxing. Great place to study if needed. I ordered the Maximus Fruit Tea (if i remember the name correctly) and I really enjoyed it. From my understanding, it's one of their most popular items and I can see why. It has great rich flavor with a hint of orange. In general, the drinks aren't that sweet to start with, which is a plus! - Brown sugar fresh MT, 30% sweet with boba. Very standard drink, maybe not worth the price here - Coconut mango pomelo slush with grapefruit pulp, 30% sweet. This was more coconutty than the ones I've had at other places. Wish it was a bit more balanced - Rose Grapefruit tea, 30% with crystal boba. Very unique, light, and fragrant - Strawberry cheese creama 50% sweet. Didn't taste super strawberry-like and 50% sweet made it a bit on the bland side. Prob would recommend 70-100% sweet for this - Meat floss mochi roll. This is SOOOO good. 10/10 recommend. The mochi stays soft and chewy even after a day - Matcha taro bread. I really loved this one as well. There is bits of taro paste and you can still taste the matcha. There's nothing like this at other bakeries. - Taro egg yolk Mochi bread. Wasn't as much of a fan of this compared the the matcha taro. The egg yolk makes it a bit more dense and heavy of a flavor compared to the matcha taro. read more

Purely food based review: Seasonal Peach Fruit Tea - More of a slush but very peachy, and refreshing. I don't recommend adding in more toppings though cause it can get super sweet on regular sweetness. Mango Slush with Grapefruit pulp - Super good, mango was refreshing and perfect level of sweetness on regular. No toppings added. Matcha/Taro Bun - This was expensive for a bakery item at ($9). The bun is great, taro + matcha makes a good paste that's slightly bitter but sweet. Though next time I might opt for a cake instead at that price. read more

The day I came, they closed early. 3 stars for my drink, cheese foam oolong with rose and a slice of lemon. Oolong is what I order at each place. The tea itself wasn't fragrant. After taking out of my mouth, I was shocked to find something was similar to a piece of scrubber. I went back and there was no apology and just handed me a refund receipt with apathy. Something I find unacceptable is a rude customer service and a nasty smell inside a store that involves food & drinks. The food/drink can taste bad, since not everywhere is perfect and to some people it might taste good. I passed by this area a few times and it was always empty, so I decided to give them a try (hoping it'll be good and I can spread the word.) It was totally empty today and as soon as I walked through the doors, it smelled like a rotten sewer with no air conditioner. I've never smelled a boba shop with a smell this bad before. You would usually smell the fragrant sweet smell of tapioca pearls but not here. All I can think of is how poorly they manage the store. I've worked at all sorts of places before and had experience making bubble tea at a previous job, and I knew this place is not doing something right. - I ordered a Taro Milk Tea, and the moment I got it I knew it was going to be bad. The color was so light, it looks like they put too much water and there was only like 3 thin melted pieces of ice. I took a sip and yes, it was exactly what I thought it's going to taste like. It tasted like it was mixed with a water+taro powder ratio of 2:1 with lukewarm water, and watered down even more from the already melted ice, and the bubbles were so overcooked that it kept getting stuck in the straw because it's too gooey. - It was $5.62 for a small drink, and I felt like it was not worth it so I went back in and requested nicely if they can make me a different drink that's not a taro milk tea. I explained how it was very watery and if they said they can't, that would have been fine with be cause I understand their store policies if they had one like that. But no. She stared me down, gave a dirty look and then glanced at a chinese man next to her (seems like her husband) and she starts blabbering in Chinese to him and aggressively grabbed the mixing cups and proceeded to make a drink. Wait.... but I didn't even tell her what I wanted instead? She started to throw in all these ingredients and then I noticed it was purple LOL so she's making me the taro sago milk tea.... Then she started to toss and throw the mixing spoons into the sink. It was obnoxiously loud and unnecessary. She just put the new drink on the counter in front of me and glared at me. NEVER said a word, just glared at me the entire time. You can tell she's pissed off. Then, a chinese girl customer walks in and she was greeted with a smile and friendliness! Btw, I'm Korean and it was obvious because I was speaking in Korean as I walked in. Are they racist or what? Like what was that all about. They never greeted or welcomed me when I walked in? No smile at all and they barely understood English. I can't believe I'm spending my own time to write a long negative review over a bubble tea, but that's how horrible the experience was - over a single bubble tea. I will never be coming back and will continue to drink One Zo, Tiger Sugar, or Kung Fu Tea nearby until I find something better. read more

Heard about this place for the first time yesterday! In the plaza directly in front of the Walmart on PleasantHill road. I've never had any issue finding parking in front of this plaza. Quotes, beanbags, light fixtures, flowers-- it's such a girly layout but I loved it! DRINKS -I ordered the cream cheese strawberry. It came in a really big, cute plastic cup (I'm totally gonna be re-using this). The top is where the cream cheese flavoring is. I tried to mix it as best as I could before drinking it. There were lots of strawberry seeds in it so I knew there was strawberry but more than the strawberry flavor-- I tasted a really strong floral/rose taste. I saw that they had a rose petal and grapefruit drink, wasn't sure if the two mixed but my friend who visited before said hers had the floral taste as well. Not sure if it's in the base/syrup of the strawberry drink but disappointed that I couldn't really taste the strawberry. -Creme brûlée milk tea. The top of the drink (see pic) is exactly like creme brûlée ! Tasted really good but because she didn't mix the top, it got super sweet as she got to the bottom of the drink. CAKE -Peach oolong mille crepe. Beautiful, subtle taste of peach on top with the creamiest and lightly sweet crepe part of the cake. One piece was $8.50. We saw this business after our haircut from karahair and decided to try it out They literally opened yesterday 12/28 so there wasnt alot of people especially since they didnt hve any signs or even a grand opening yet. The decorations are super cute modern pink and gray. They have printed menus and also the comprehensive menu on tv screens. The selections are pretty good, they have my favorite cheese cream teas so I went with the cheese cream golden oolong tea. My husband got the taro sago milk tea. The guy mistaken my order for the blueberry creama so he gave that one to us for free. The taro sago milk tea is SO good. It was both of our favorites. It was very milky and sweet, you can taste the taro without it being chunky or thick. The sago is more like what we know as white boba or crystal boba. There is a taro paste on the sides of the cup. So amazing. The blueberry creama was surprisingly good. Its not very sweet which might appeal to alot of people who dont like sweets too much. Its like a smoothie texture, very light and fluffy, blended with ice. The cream gave it a nice flavor. The cheese cream golden oolong was also very good. It was a plain tea at the bottom with the cheese on top. The cheese is very delicious and thick enough to make the tea a dense opaque when mixed together. Has rich cream cheese and milk flavor. Saw Moo Tea on the way to eat dinner at WellBean Tofu so I decided to come visit after dinner. The inside is decorated so cute with pink sofas and marble tables and gold accents with motivational quotes handwritten on notes on the tables. The menu consists of Mille Crepes, Roll cakes, box cakes, customized cakes, "Cheese Creama Series", Milk Tea Series, and Mix Fruit Tea Series. I got the Cup Full of Lychee and my husband got the Osmanthus Pineapple Oolong Tea. I loved my drink, my husband's tasted a little funky but I think is was because pineapple is not in season so it wasn't that sweet. But I like how they added fresh fruit in both of our drinks. Something different about this place I liked was the cups. I'm not sure if they are reusable but they seem like it so that's a plus for me! Ive been coming here and trying a few things for some time now . I love the concept here. Its a very romantic atmosphere for sure with the pink couches, and the bright color scheme. My first time here, I tried the brown sugar boba milk tea and it was pretty good. You can definitely taste the black tea that is used in these drinks and smell it as well. I love the fact that it's not just sugar and milk but an actual tea flavor. Ive also tried te creme brule and the taro sago milk tea. All of these were great for me but a tad on the sweet side. If you are wanting something not so sweet, you need to ask for no sugar or very small sugar and the ingredients themselves will do a good enough job sweetening the drink. Also, there are no hot drinks here "yet". I believe they will be tinging them in soon after talking with the manager, but my take away from this is that there are no coffees or not teas. This is such a cute place! Moo Tea is in the little shopping center next to Walmart off of Pleasant Hill road, where Gamestop and Natsu Izakaya is. They have a variety of fruit and milk teas, and they put it in cups that are aesthetically pleasing. I tried the creama osmanthus oolong tea and crema white peach oolong tea. I preferred the osmanthus oolong tea since I like more tea flavor, the white peach was too sweet/syrup-y for me. The cheese creama was blended well and not too heavy compared to other tea places I've been to. A huge plus to this place are the cakes! You can customize it however you want- flavor, fruit, design, you name it. The baker is so talented, she was able to design the cake exactly as I requested. I received so many compliments on the cake to its packaging, everyone thought it was too pretty to eat. The only thing is, there was a language barrier when ordering the cake but there are employees there that speak English so they were able to translate. They also have a variety of crepe and roll cakes I plan on coming back to try all of those soon! read more

Went on a weekday afternoon, it's not crowded at all but because of how cute and aesthetically pleasing this place is, I wouldn't be surprised to see it getting packed on the weekend. There's lot of seatings and charging OUTLETS! Such an essential for me when I'm trying to find a cute chill place to study with all my devices. It's a very clean and "IG" feeling tea place. I just recently seen this place open and I had to try it out. When I walked in, it has a nice interior design and verity of seats available. When it comes to drinks they have different choices to choose from and they are not your typical drinks. Each drinks are very unique and doesn't taste like your typical boba drinks. My favorites so far are the fruit teas such as maximum fruit tea and full cup of orange tea. Their crepe cakes are decent but I won't buy the matcha crepe cake because it had a weird and waxy after taste. Other crepe cakes such as the passion fruit crepe cake is citric and fluffy and I would recommend. Waiting time is quite long but I don't really mind it (give them some slack they just open). I love Moo tea! After only two visits, it has quickly become one of my favorite bubble tea shops. I've tried a few menu items so far: taro sago milk tea, cheese creama jasmine green tea, mango passionfruit mille crepe cake, and strawberry box cake. The taro sago milk tea has actual taro paste on the sides of the cup and comes with sago and golden pearl toppings. I love that it doesn't use the artificially colored purple taro powder that you can find at many bubble tea shops. The cheese creama jasmine green tea tastes very fresh and fragrant. I'm quite picky with cheese toppings in the US, as I've found that very few bubble tea locations get it right. However, Moo Tea's cheese topping tastes very similar to the ones in Asia, and it is the perfect blend of sweet and salty. I usually reduce the sugar level to 50% sweet at most bubble tea locations, but this is the only location where the regular sweetness level is just right. The mango passionfruit mille crepe cake was very light and not too sweet. I enjoyed the hints of passionfruit with every bite. My only complaint is the crepe cakes are definitely on the pricier side at $8 a slice. The strawberry box cake with fresh vanilla cream was surprisingly light too, however, the cake was slightly more dense than I would have preferred. Note: the dessert menu is quite extensive, but not all of the items are available every day. Check what desserts are available for the day up at the front. Lastly, the interior and aesthetic of Moo Tea is so cute and perfect for instagram photos, which is a huge plus. If I lived closer, I would choose this as my usual study spot. read more

One star off because I didn't see that the mango pomelo had cheese foam in it and specifically wanted to avoid it due to my lactose intolerance. Was thrilled to find that they served mearfloss cakes, which is rare to see in GA. So went specifically for that. When compared to Chef Bao's meatfloss cake in China, this version had a more delicate, less dense cake, meatfloss had seaweed mixed in, flavor was good overall. Mine was a takeout order, but interior decoration was nice, once life returns to pre-pandemic normal, this wouldn't be a bad place to meet up and have a drink with friends. I am a big fan of cheese tea and Moo Tea has my favorite cheese! It strikes a nice balance of saltiness and sweetness that is the best I've ever had. Each drink came out one by one, but it didn't take too long to receive all 3 drinks. They didn't have any strawberry box cakes made yet, but they prepared one in less than 5 minutes! creme brûlée: 8/10 They actually fire torched the creme on top, which added a toasty flavor. This drink is basically just milk tea with a fire torched creme layer on top. Cheese creama mango: 9/10 Wow! Who imagined mango and cream cheese would create such an amazing combination?Based on the flavor and sweetness of this beverage, I imagine this drink was made with real mangos. You don't get that sugary artificial flavoring, so this is perfect if you don't want something too sweet! Jasmine pineapple lemon tea: 10/10 Wow!! This drink included inclusion of real lemon slices, pineapple, and jasmine flowers. The iced tea was just sweet enough and not overly sugary. Just be aware, you will end up drinking the flower inclusions as you sip. Mochi floss bread: 2/10 I don't think I would be ordering this again. First time checking this tea & cake shop out and I'm glad we did. It's a cute little spot with feminine interior and lots of pink & gold. They have different kinds of teas and a few topping options. They don't have tapioca but they have types of pudding and jelly. They have a patissier on duty which makes sense because they have a lot of cake options, including Mille crepes, roll cake, and customized cake. We got the peach oolong crepe and rose petal grape fruit tea. I love the sip lids they have on the cups which allows you to open and close the opening--great for reusing! Large variety of teas, beautiful interior, great place to study with wifi and outlets. Not made for a huge group but great to catch up with a friend or two. Definitely want to come back here to try their other beverages. read more

Moo Tea is amazing! I pass this place everyday and I decided to stop in for some bubble tea. The ambiance is amazing. Definitely a place you can stop in for something refreshing and do little bit of work. The menu is vast and they have so many options. I tried the maximus fruit tea and it was amazing. What I like about this place is they give you a nice nice cup for your tea. Its really something you can take on the go and not be worries about spilling it all over the place. The tea maker was also very helpful. Offered me options and made suggestions. Great customer service. I definitely recommend giving this place a shout. Moo Tea has great potential to improve. I wanted to sort my thoughts out for this place before posting a review. I've visited many times, and I've ordered a different drink each time. So far I have tried: * Cheese Creama Strawberry * Cheese Creama Mango * Cheese Creama Red Rose Oolong Tea * Cheese Creama Coffee * Cup Full of Lychee * Creme Brûlée Milk Tea * Cheese Creama Osmanthus Oolong Tea * Cheese Creama Peach * Cheese Creama Earl Black Tea * ...and a couple of their mille crepe cake slices. All of their drinks are delicious and high quality. My favorites are: * Cheese Creama Earl Black Tea * Cheese Creama Mango * Cheese Creama Coffee. **Update: They have changed their recipe for cheese creama coffee. It is still good, but they added boba and the coffee isn't as strong as it used to be. I am also not the largest fan of their boba as it can be hard and flavorless. It doesn't add to the drink. The original recipe was much better. Please change it back :( The mille crepe cake slices are also pretty good. They have a light gelatin flavor on top and fresh cream throughout. However, I personally feel that they are slightly overpriced for such a small slice. I would rather go to Eatea to fulfill my mille crepe cake cravings. Despite crafting quality products, I do not think that they have yet earned 5 stars overall. There are minor tweaks that could be made to improve the store. To begin, there is a sour milk smell upon entering the store. There was no smell when the store first opened, so I thought that the sour smell was just a temporary one-time thing. However, after multiple visits, it was still there. Now, I could have my drink outside or in my car, but the smell makes me question their sanitation. The employees do not warmly greet you and the store doesn't play music. The combination of both gives off a "cold" vibe. I have been greeted by the part-timer quite a few times :) but the overall atmosphere can be improved to seem more friendly. Having worked in customer service myself, I know that it sucks dealing with customers sometimes. However, who I assume to be the owners can at least seem a bit more enthusiastic in serving their customers. Napkins should be placed in a more visible and accessible space. They purchased a new swing/push trash can, but an open hole one would've been preferred. Especially when their trashcan is full. Their cups for the cheese creama series only has one hole for the straw. It should have another hole to sip the cheese without mixing the drink. I appreciate them for taking customer feedback using that to improve. I have noticed some positive change since they first opened. However, I still feel they need a stronger push as there are stronger competitors. For now, I am sticking with Greatea, KFT, and Pearl Tea. I would still recommend visiting this place at least once if you're feeling adventurous! read more

I didn't like the tea that I got, but the blueberry crepe was SO GOOD! I will definitely be back for it.
