From the outside it is modest and easy to miss but inside it feels warm casual and full of life. It has that neighborhood energy where you can tell people have been coming for years. The service is quick and straightforward yet still friendly in a genuine way. The pho is the highlight. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful with a clean finish that shows it has been simmered for hours. It is the kind of broth you keep sipping even after everything else is gone. The noodles are cooked just right and the portions are generous. The meat is tender and fresh and pairs perfectly with the herbs lime and sauces on the side. It is not trying to be trendy or upscale and that is exactly why it works. If you want comforting authentic pho that hits every time this place delivers.

My husband also loves their drinks. We've tried the lemonade and the passion fruit lemonade, and both were delicious! Outside parking in the shopping center.

Also, tried their Cherry Blossom Jelly...which was good (but probably not enough to try again?). I regret not trying one of their Mille Crepe Cakes...but hopefully I'll get to try it next time? Very cool interior with their hexagonal design booths and wood interior. Cute accents of Japanese culture with their wishing tree and swing and huge bell. For the price I think the serving size was a little small, but again, really tasty and fresh. So because of the pandemic we haven't been going out to eat every weekend like we usually do. I decided to get some Chinese. My go to place was closed today so I figured I would just go to H-Mart since it's close. Today was a big disappointment. I got the Tofu Singapore Mai Fun and Beef with veggies and white rice. For both dishes it was $21 and change. Beef with Vegetables: - portion of the entree in the container with the rice was like a lunch portion. I am used to a regular container with separate rice on the side for "dinner" - the rice was old and dry. Like it had been sitting in the rice cooker for a long time. Like korean nurongji -the beef was dried out. I had some pieces that were legit like beef jerky -the sauce had a slightly weird sweetness to it -vegetables were overcooked and some pieces were burnt Singapore Mai Fun: -noodles were definitely tossed around too much because they were way too broken -again, a weird slightly sweet taste -tofu was super dry and tasted old. Had a few pieces that were super burnt. Eggs were burnt too Neither dish was enjoyable. Kind of a waste of money Probably more like a one star review today because of how bad the quality of the food was. However, the girl who answered the phone was super sweet and the food was made quickly. Hopefully today was just an off day

The pho has been flavorful, aromatic, and served with fresh vegetable sides every time. The banh mi is delicious, had fresh vegetables, and had a good amount of meat. However the crab puffs and vermicelli are absolutely my favorite, they serve vermicelli with this gorgeous garlic/chili paste hot sauce which pairs perfectly with the fresh crisp veggies, cool noodles, and nuk mam. The crab puffs are crunchy, light, oil free, and delightfully stuffed, a must try! Every single time we make a run for groceries we eat here, and I don't see that changing in the future. Honestly this place could easily occupy in restaurant building, slap down some fancy decorations and add 4-5 dollars onto anything they serve, but they don't and that is the magic. It's real food, by real people, who are really passionate about it, and changing anything would ruin the magic.

Perfect if you're looking to celebrate more intimately with your group. We got their Go chu jap chae, Cream shrimp, Jjambbong, Tangsuyuk, and Seafood jaengban. It was my first time having Go chu jap chae but I really enjoyed all the bell peppers and onions with thin cuts of beef. The fluffy rolls were just a plus. Cream shrimp were also fluffy but my favorite dishes were definitely the Jjambbong and Seafood jaengban. It was difficult to say which one I liked better because they were both delicious in their own ways! The Tangsuyuk was also crispy with the sweet and sour dipping sauce on the side. Overall, my friends and I had a great time. The food was fantastic, the portions were hefty, and the prices were justified. Staff were attentive and efficient so I can't wait to come again. Come check them out, you won't regret it!

The jajangmyun sauce comes in varying degrees of spiciness, but even the medium isn't too bad; has a slight kick but doesn't take away from the overall taste. The tang soo yuk also has two different batter options, one is little chewier than the other, but it was recommended to me by the waitress and definitely enjoyed it with their sweet and sour sauce. The waitresses there have always been very attentive and professional, never regret leaving a big tip because they definitely worked for it. Overall, ambiance is pretty noisy as there are a lot of seats and since it's a very family orientated restaurant, it's usually been packed with families enjoying a meal. The restaurant also shares a parking lot with a Tesla super charger, so it was perfect for me to plug my car in while I eat.

I also had a little bit of my Dads Pad Thai and it did not disappoint either. We also enjoyed the appetizer sampler that we ordered which consisted of chicken satay, cheese rolls and some fresh vegetable rolls! Service: the service was also good! Our waitress didn't not know very much English which spoke well to the authenticity aspect. I'm glad that people from Thailand were running the place and it showed in the food quality! Ambiance: It was a busy restaurant because the food is good. The atmosphere was Thai themed! No. Are there newer spots that might edge it out? Sure. But that's not really the point here. What Saigon Café does well is consistency. The food tastes the same every time, the menu has plenty of options for everyone, and it's reliably quick -- usually 10-15 minutes and you're good to go. That alone makes it an easy go-to for families. Staff has always been friendly, and the place stays busy, which says a lot. You know exactly what you're getting every visit, and sometimes that matters more than chasing the "best." I am not good with the Vietnamese or other Asian names, but so far I have tried the pork vermicelli plate, the Tom Kha soup (once with chicken and once with seafood), the shrimp and pork spring rolls (Goi Cuon), and the fried veggie spring rolls (Cha Gio Chay). I have also tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. All of the items are consistently prepared well and fresh to order from what I have seen. I really like the variety of items on their menu here. Some other places I have been to that do Asian fusion type menus usually are stronger in one cuisine over the other, but I have not seen that yet here. I am interested to see what some of their curries are like and plan on trying them in the future. The seafood Tom Kha had lots of different seafood in it for the price paid. I have had Vietnamese pork plates from more than one place recently, but I think this is my favorite place in the area so far. It was good with the vermicelli, but I think I enjoyed it best with the jasmine rice that they accidentally gave the first time I ordered from here. All of the food was well portioned and reasonably priced compared to some of the competitors in the area. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was also very good in that it was not overly sweet nor was it bitter. It was strong enough for a pick-me-up, but also creamy as I like it. Try this place if you haven't yet. I'll be back!
