I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this place yet as much as I used to go here after physical therapy last year. It's the perfect drive thru bubble tea place for me. I highly recommend the oolong milk tea and green Thai tea, though all the drinks I've had are awesome! I like that for most of the drinks you can order easy sweet for less sugar. I've been inside only one time for a Yelp event but the inside was cute and inviting, though small, if memory serves. On a hot day it's great to just drive up and get your cold drink. The drinks are delicious, favorite is their mung bean milk tea, reminds me of che! Iykyk as well as their Vietnamese coffee They open earlier than most milk tea spots. 7 Leaves Cafe is A-OK! My friend HYPED this place up prior to them opening in Duluth - she would buy a whole gallon of their iced coffee and check in a suitcase just to ship it back from Texas. So I had some HIGH expectations because that just sounds absolutely dangerous LOL. Seating inside is limited but available. There is also a drive thru on the outside, which definitely gives it a stop and go kind of vibe The mint sereno caught my eye on the menu and instantly reminded me of the famous Philz Coffee mint mojito. So of course I found myself ordering that. MAJOR regret - definitely not what I was looking for. Do not order it. The flavors just don't blend the way I expected. I ended up asking them for a clear cup so I can also get a pretty 7 Leaves Cafe branding on my drink photo and it only filled half the cup, although I do believe they only use large plastic cups. I do like the House Coffee and the Vietnamese Coffee much better. The House Coffee is topped with whipped cream that isn't too sweet. The Vietnamese Coffee is what you expect when you order any Vietnamese Iced Coffee - very strong and pretty sweet, but just enough to pleasantly mask how strong the coffee is. I hate that the mint sereno soured my first experience here. But I'm glad I gave it a second chance. This 7 Leaves Cafe is in Duluth and is a great spot to stop by for any drink cravings. We were on our way out of Atlanta to Charlotte and had to stop by Duluth because my partner LOVES their coffee. This 7 Leaves is in a plaza and parking is super easy! The inside is small but very clean, bright, and has a good amount of seating. The staff was super friendly and our drinks came out pretty fast. We got the house coffee (my boyfriend's all-time fav) and I got a hot taro milk tea since I was feeling a bit under the weather. I rarely see mung bean in milk tea, and the one here is good, but they aren't able to adjust sugar levels on any of the fruit teas, which is usually adding less syrup. I understand I won't get as much of the fruit flavor as well, but I was surprised. Only milk teas' sugar levels can change. This has me between a 4 and a 5. And I guess the aloe topping contributes to a 4, but the mung bean milk tea truly is worth giving this place a 5. read more

However, when I received the drink, it turned out to be extremely sweet. One of my friends ordered the same thing, but she ordered full sugar, and it was bland, as if they had forgotten the sugar. I've also tried the Thai tea from this place before, and it tasted quite good. My only complaint is about the sweetness levels; sometimes the drinks have no flavor, bland, ect and other times they're excessively sweet. On the positive side, the staff is super kind and friendly. I love 7 Leaves! I'm from San Jose, CA and when they opened in Duluth, I was ecstatic! The recipes taste the same, and the service is always good. The employees are so nice. Last year, I held a little Lunar New Year's gathering and passed out the 7 Leaves' lixi (red envelopes) as a little fun thing. This year, I did the same, but I feel like something changed with the lixi because the chances of actually getting anything good seemed to be minuscule this year. Out of 22 lixi, literally all of them were either a macaron voucher or a BOGO voucher. None my friends did not seem to land any 777 point vouchers or any of the other prizes somehow. Be careful though the parking lot behind it looked shady as heck at night and this place is attached to a gas station. Customer service was really nice and polite. I got a taro tea and Assam milk tea total $11ish together. I did ask for very light ice but somehow got both drinks halfway filled with ice so had to take a star off for that :/ all the ice ends up watering the tea down. As for flavor, the Assam milk tea had an odd hint of boba to it but I had no boba in my tea which was weird but I did enjoy the Assam flavor it was medium strength strong and perfect sweetness. The tea and coffee here is on point! I love the flavors because it's specifically Vietnamese tea and coffee. You have the more traditional viet coffee and the fusion one. The staff is quick and helpful every time we go here. The decor is very simple and modern. It's a Boba tea place so it stays pretty clean. Even the restrooms are clean. One of the main advantage of 7 Leaves Cafe is their drive through. If you know exactly what you want, that is such a convenient feature. More Boba Tea places should have it. 7 Leaves Cafe is a small tea shop next to the Chevron gas station. They have a sparse menu. But I'm glad they're focusing instead of trying to offer everything and the kitchen sink. They're like most boba tea places. You pick your drink and your toppings. For drinks, they offer tea, coffee, and juices. Their coffees are Vietnamese coffees. You can also add shots of espresso for all your drinks if you need a boost of caffeine. The drinks are all good. They're all on the sugary side. But the option to lower the sweetness isn't available to most drinks. Like for the coffee drinks, they add an espresso shot to make it less sweet. Or with the teas, they lower the amount of tea powder (since the powder has sweetener in it) to make it less sweet. And for the juice drinks, it's not possible. You can't have 0% sugar. It seems like the drinks have some sort of sweetener. I've tried taro milk tea, oolong milk tea, matcha soy (which you can substitute oat milk), house coffee, and the passion fruit drink. They were all good. Even though it is on the sweeter side, I think the tea still is a co-star, unlike other sugary-dessert boba tea places. The regular size is actually large. You can upsize if you want more calories and sugar. But the upsize would be too big in my opinion. These aren't tiny Asian portion sizes. These are the oversized American sizes. Jessica was professional and responsive. She guided me throughout the planning process and answered all of my questions to finalize the menu and equipment rental options. Since I had a higher guest count, I chose the larger dispensers and the presentation looked beautiful. For the boba tea menu, I chose two milk tea flavors and one fruit tea flavor: Taro Milk Tea, Jasmine Milk Tea and Sunset Passion Fruit Tea. For a personalized touch, I had custom wedding stickers made by Impress Ink (Orlando, FL) and we used them as labels for all of the cups. I loved how these turned out! Overall, I was happy with my boba tea catering experience for my wedding reception. It was the perfect refresher for a summer wedding and the drinks ran out so fast! First off love that there's a drive thru. We didn't go inside but the drive thru window was so quick. We ordered paid and got our tea in less time than it would take to go inside somewhere. We went to 7 Leaves Cafe twice im the 4 days we were in Duluth. It conveniently has a drive through! I cannot comment on how it is on the inside. Both times I ordered the House Coffee. It was delicious! It is like a Vietnamese coffee taken up a notch with a cheese foam topping. The first time I had it I did not mix in the foam until almost the end. Do it right away! It adds a nice balance to the sweetness of the coffee. The second time I got it I mixed it right away and added boba. My husband got their Vietnamese coffee both times. Great new tea shop. It's a known franchise in states like CA so it's nice to have one open in GA. The interior isnt too big and the location it's at has a very small parking lot. The opening week was really busy and service was slow but they figured it out on my return visits. The most popular drink by far is the mung bean smoothie. My personal favorite is the herbal tea with grass jelly. For the most part. I'm a big fan, the location isnt6 that convenient but it's worth it for the drinks alone. I know of 7 Leaves from California, so I was excited to see this location opening up so close to where I live. And, the best part, they have a drive through! Although I don't think the drive through is open yet since they've only been open for the soft opening. I was actually surprised by the drinks considering it's still soft opening. The flavors are representative of what they're supposed to be. We ordered the mung bean milk tea, thai tea, green thai tea, and the Vietnamese coffee. If you've ever eaten any Vietnamese mung bean desserts, that's basically what it feels like you're drinking with the mung bean milk tea. The thai tea and green thai tea are my personal favorites. The prices are actually very fair as well. I thought it would be more expensive because 7 Leaves is really hyped coming from the West Coast, and they offer more unique drinks than you can find anywhere here at the other boba shops. The regular size is already big as is, but just for a dollar more, you can get a large which is more than enough for one person to drink. You can adjust ice and sugar level as well. My only critique, which is expected at this point since it's a new store, is that the wait time is very long even if there's not a line. There were only 3-4 people in front of me, but it took 30 minutes for me to get my drinks. I could see the employees still didn't know how to make the drinks because they were still referring back to the ingredients/instructions posted on the wall for EACH drink even if they had just made that drink. I watched them go back and forth to read off the wall to make each drink, and at times, I saw someone approach an employee to instruct them what to do. I understand they're new, but I'm surprised they didn't train before opening or that there's no memory from making the drinks all day. Looks like 7 Leaves just opened! They seem to have some unique drink flavors you might not find in other shops. Sweetness and ice levels can be adjusted though it doesn't say that on the menu (easy, regular, or extra). Imo, the easy sweet still seemed sweet for our drinks. Regular sizes are already decently large and you can add $1 for the larger size. -House coffee- Viet iced coffee, hazelnut creamer, and sea salt creamer. Was pretty decent. - Thai Tea- I really liked that this wasn't premade. You'll have to mix the tea and creamer yourself when you get it. - Honey boba was standard. On the chewy side. Love that this place has a drive through option, I think it's really convenient and definitely attracts a lot more customers. We ordered the ice coffees and they were really creamy and good, just a little on the sweeter side. The sea cream jasmine tea was probably my favorite drink as the cream had a little bit of a salty hint to it, but it really complimented the fragrant tea well. The taro drink was fragrant and really thick and grainy in my opinion. I also asked for less ice but half my cup was just ice so they were really nice enough to remake it for me.
