I had a coat that had been stored in the basement for 4 years. of course it smelled like the damp unfinished basement and I need my buttons tightened and some replaced. I was informed when I took my coat in that everything could be done but my buttons may not match. if you are not looking closely you can not tell the difference. My coat looks brand new! My family and I have given this dry cleaning location countless business and referrals since before it was even called Xxpress Cleaners. Never again. Up until recently, Xxpress Cleaners was a cash-only operation with hand-written paper receipts. Therefore, when I recently dropped off a large load of dry-cleaning I paid CASH - the only form of currency I knew they accepted! They have a new point of sale system and somehow I was accused of not paying for services rendered because of it. Well, all I have is my receipt, and my word, and, oh, the countless business I've brought them in the past...which they probably didn't track, ya know, because of the hand-written receipts. I ask you - When has this location ever accepted an order without upfront payment? I repeatedly said I paid cash and the guy finally relented and let me leave. Now, days later, at 8am this morning, I'm being harassed with multiple missed calls from the cleaner due to their error! Why would I give you my real name and real phone number if I was trying to screw you over? Makes complete sense. Thanks for the wake up call, Xxpress Cleaners, in more ways than one! read more

I noticed as I walked in with my receipt to grab my clothes that they charge a one dollar credit card fee. I have never paid a dollar for that fee before in my life. A dollar is obviously not a big deal, but it is the principle of the matter, and about communicating with your customers. I would have paid cash. I then had an idea to prevent any type of complaint or argument... I offered to pay cash if he would reverse the credit card transaction. He refused, and said he could have reversed it only on the day that I paid (two days ago.) That makes no sense, I've never head of that on a point of sale system. So, I then let him know a dollar fee is pretty steep, and that it should be posted. He did point to a sign that said there will be a fee, but it doesn't tell you about the amount. 1 dollar on a 12 dollar transaction is stupid. They can keep the dollar and receive a 2 star review (the clothes did come out okay, but I don't like unreasonable headaches for a simple transaction. ) read more

My dad brought a 100% wool pants to the cleaners for dry clean. After he picked it up from them, he tried it at home, and the pair of pants had shrunk both length and width-wise. On the inside, the liner fabric was very wrinkly and embarrassing to look at. It looked as though it was put into a washing machine, and the cleaners did not bother to steam the inside fabric to make it look nice. He brought it back to the cleaners and told them the situation that it no longer fits him because the pants had clearly shrunk. The owner said he will have a "redo" of the pants to try to get it fixed. Days later at the cleaners, the pants still did not fit and were clearly damaged. The owner claimed no responsibility for damaging the pair of pants and said "it was not done there." Logically speaking, the worker(s) must have done something to the pair of pants to make them physically shrink. Otherwise, the pair of pants would not be ill-fitted. It is clear that the responsibility ultimately lie with this business when the before and after cleaning fit do not match up. I highly do not recommend giving business to business owners who do not provide professional services nor take responsibility for damaging consumers' products. read more

This is a review for their tailor - she is awesome! I brought my wool coat in on Friday afternoon to have the sleeves hemmed, and it was ready for me 24 hours later. She said I could've even picked it up same day if I had really needed it that soon! The sleeve length is perfect and the stitching is, too. So happy! Reasonable prices. read more

I left 3 pairs of pants and one pair of jeans. It is my opinion that the items were not actually cleaned. They were just pressed. Disgusting, right. I paid $14.00. I went to get a jacket of mine from the early 2000 cleaned (I do not think it's been cleaned since). They were able to get the yellowing stains off the sleeves and make the jacket feel brand new. The cost to clean it was 10$ which was very inexpensive considering the amount of stains on the jacket. Will definitely go again next time I need the dry cleaners. I only wore this dress once as a MOH to a wedding and then the dress was taken to this location to be cleaned. Unfortunately, they ruined the dressed and you can obviously tell they tried to sew the bead work back on! They should be professionals, but I guess they are not! It looks like the beading probably got stuck to their machine and ripped from the dress, that they tried to sew it back on to make it look like the bead work "came off by itself". I am pregnant so there was not much action taking place during the wedding to cause the dress to be in such conditions after 1 time wear. They did such a bad job with the sewing that you can tell it did not originally came with the dress. The dress is RUINED and my money was WASTED! BEWARE!!!! AVOID!!!! read more

I bought a $850 canada goose jacket last week. Never worn it. I like to clean my stuff before wearing so I took it this dry cleaner. When I got home, I noticed a small tear in the inside lining around where they punched a tag. Looks like it got snagged Wtf. Once there is a tear in nylon, it's impossible to repair.
