No call backs, they use Ai which is not helpful. Obviously they try and cut costs everywhere by not hiring employees. . Customers need to unload product out of their trucks which means they have no insurance. Even if residential deliveries driver just pulls up and you will need to find machinery to unload!! Vendors use them because they're cheap so customers have no choice of getting their product. People need to start refusing deliveries through them. read more

How is this company still open? The only way to request a pickup is through email, you send an email and they never reply. You call and stay for at least 30 minutes waiting for some agent to answer. We had a great experience with this LTL shipping company! We have used many! Their rates were excellent, and their automated phone system was the best I've ever used -- super easy and efficient. Customer service was helpful and responsive throughout the process. Our shipment wasn't quite ready for pickup on the scheduled day, but they were great about returning the next day to get it without any issues. Transit time was a bit slow, but that's to be expected with LTL. Everything arrived in great condition. One pallet had some loose boxes our shipper did not secure on top, but everything arrived safely and intact. Another heavier pallet broke during transit, but the team secured it by adding a second pallet -- really appreciated that extra care! The driver was friendly and arrived right within the delivery window we were given. Overall, a reliable and professional experience. We'll definitely be using them again! read more

My deliveries were always wrong or misdirected to another location and when I call the employees became rude and had me on hold for 15 Mins only to transfer me to the manager and he didn't know anything so I hung up. BEWARE! This company is garbage. I ordered a front door from Home Depot and Xpress Global Systems was their shipping partner of choice. I received a call from Christy on Friday saying the door will be delivered Monday January 15th between 10am-2pm. Christy asked if I would like a 30 min advance notice for delivery and I said absolutely! Fast forward to today, Monday the 15th, I received a call at 8:54am from driver saying he's at property but cant move door by himself because its too heavy. I had to leave work to help driver remove 300lb door from truck. If he did it himself, it would have tipped over and been destroyed. Driver was great and did the best he could have with such an awkward delivery. After delivery, I called manager Troy who passed all blame on driver instead of not having enough manpower to take care of the job correctly. - ARRIVED AT PROPERRTY WAY TOO EARLY, OUT OF DELIVERY WINDOW - NO ADVANCE NOTICE - I HAD TO SKIP OUT ON WORK TO HELP OR WE I WOULDN'T HAVE RECIEVED DOOR HomeDepot needs to reevaluate who to partner up with and represent them. I would give this company zero stars if possible. They where used as a 3rd party company though Home Depot. A delivery date was emailed to me and it was said they would contact me the prior to delivery to confirm information. Today was the said and emailed delivery date. No call came so I contacted Home Depot who confirmed the date as today, she contacted this delivery company who stated the earliest delivery they could make would be next Tuesday. They stated they have been trying to contact me. I have no missed calls or voicemails, then stated the package had only arrived there at the end of last week and were closed and planned on contacting me today to set up delivery. I again told them if that was the case why does the email tracking say DELIVERY DATE: May 31st. She stated it is an estimate and note an actual scheduled date. After getting no were she stated the new estimate was Tuesday June 6th and the driver would call when near the house, it was never stated someone would be required to be home to sign. Again huge issue that should have been stated prior had I would have to request a day off of work to be present. This is just a terrible company and the customer service was unacceptable. Not a company I would ever choose to use again. Follow up- as stated above delivery was suppose to be yesterday and no call, no delivery. I tried to call multiple times and finally got a call back today (June 7th) the giggling girl on the other line stated "the deliver fell behind so we wasn't able to make the delivery. So we are going to have to reschedule." So of course they can't deliver today but I am scheduled for delivery tomorrow June 8th! Hopefully the third time works out. Again WORST delivery company EVER!! Well today is June 8th- delivery scheduled between 11am-2pm. It's now 3:30pm and no call, no grass and of course their phone just rings and rings. Terrible, terrible shipping service. I placed an order through Home Depot without knowing how they shipped. This company changed our delivery date without updating us (I stayed home from work to be here) then continued to delay the window of time the second time set arrival date while I waited with my one year old. I'm still waiting for them to arrive. I was told I'd receive a call back to say if it was delayed again but of course that never happened. Apparently they don't have the machinery or man strength to actually deliver your product so expect us to be at home to help to offload. This is partially a Home Depot issue as they do not set clear expectations with us for shipping but the poor communication and explanation from the shipping company made it all worse. It is now 4 hours after our drop off window on the second drop off attempt and we do not have our product. This is unacceptable and the staff have been anything but helpful. I asked the women on the phone to please explain why I had to be at home for the delivery if they just dropped it off and can't put it anywhere specific and why no one called me to tell me the window was delayed. Instead of responding she just put me on hold then forwarded me to someone else. This is a headache and we can't wait for it to be done. read more

I would avoid using this company as a client - they will leave your customers with a bad taste, making you look bad as the shipper, and they also make their own drivers look bad. Waited three hours of a four hour window for the first delivery attempt and the driver called to say that his truck could not access downtown SF so he was taking it back to the warehouse. Had to schedule a second four hour window three days later. Knowing that a semi could not come into downtown SF seems like basic information for Xpress to know. The company did not answer or return my calls when I called to try to track where the driver was - three hours into the window of the second delivery attempt and the BOL did not work on their website. I called the shipper of my product on the second delivery attempt who reached them somehow and they told me that Xpress said he'd be there in 40 minutes. 90 minutes later the driver called me to say that he was "hours away" and when I asked where he was discovered that he was 15 minutes from me. A BOL was given to this company on Monday 2/22/2021. The order specified a lift tailgate since the item weighs 250 pounds and was housed on a pallet. It was scheduled to be picked up on 2/23/21. No one came. On 2/24/21 no one came. On 2/25/21 the driver stated he picked up the item, but in fact he did not. Called Xpress Global and they said they would send someone on Friday 2/26/21. Called again on 2/26/21 spoke to some guy and he said he had a driver in Livermore and he would send him over. Driver got there, 2 hours later, and the tailgate on his truck was broken and stated it wasn't his problem. The driver called his supervisor and then left. In turn, another call was placed to Xpress and it was stated this is now day 4 and we are still waiting for pick up. Was told this is usually a 10 man shop and they were down to 5 drivers. Not my issue! And it is specified on the order that a tailgate is needed. This time spoke with a woman. She apologized and stated someone would be there at 2pm again on 2/26/21 to pick up item. She called back an hour later and spoke to the shop owner asking if he had a lift to move the item into the truck. The owner said when I spoke to you an hour ago the order states to have a lift tailgate and the customer has paid for the service. She made an excuse again. Needless to say my item still has not been picked up and their location is only 15 minutes away from the pick up point!! This is the worst shipping company ever. If you need to ship an item DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They don't read what is requested of them and make excuses for a service they are getting paid for. Checked their site this morning, 2/28/21, put my BOL number in and it states my item has been picked up and will be delivered on 3/3/21. That is not true at all, especially since I am standing right here looking at my item!!! read more

Terrible shipping quality. Item Shipped 1 March for delivery 28 March. Nothing arrived. Spent about a week going back and forth with XGS and Home Depot. No one could locate the item. There were no tracking updates at all except the initial "Shipped". Finally all agreed it was lost. That afternoon informed by XGS it was found in their Jacksonville Warehouse on 6 April. They need to remove "xpress" from their name because they're anything but that. My company was supposed to have 6 skids delivered to our warehouse on Monday but it was pushed to Friday. It couldn't be delivered on Monday because once their driver arrived, his truck was too long and he did not know how to back up to our loading dock. On Tuesday morning I called and they told me that they didn't have the machine to move our skids to a smaller truck so it was pushed to Wednesday. I called again on Wednesday morning and was told it was out for delivery and should be expecting the delivery soon. I waited for almost 2 hours before calling the company and asking about the ETA. They then told me that their truck had broken down so it'll be pushed to Thursday. If I hadn't called them first who knows how long they would've had me wait for the delivery before letting me know it wasn't coming that day. On Thursday morning, finally the truck arrived but my skids couldn't be pulled out from the truck because of the genius who loaded the truck had my skids pinched in next to the pile of rugs weighing hundred of pounds that was to be delivered next. So the driver needed to deliver the rugs first before coming back to deliver my skids. I waited another 6 hours before calling and being told that they would try to have it delivered Friday. I asked about the ETA and was told to call at 8am when they open the next day to ask. I also asked them to give me a courtesy call 30 min before the driver arrives so I could be there on time. At 8am on Friday, I called and was told that the driver was already at the location. So I told the lady on the phone that I would arrive there in 30 min. She was surprised and then proceeded to give me an attitude saying that they had the skids for 4 days now as if the problem was on my end. I was patient and waited 4 days for my delivery so I couldn't understand why they couldn't wait a measly half hour for me to arrive when I already informed them to give me a call ahead of the driver's arrival. She then agreed to have the driver wait if I did whatever it took to have my skids taken out of the truck. As if I hadn't been trying the last several days. Luckily there was no problem this time and my skids were finally delivered when I arrived. To have my delivery pushed several days was one thing but to then try to twist the situation and blame me for their incompetence? Unbelievable. I give them 1 star because they actually managed to deliver by the end of the week, and also because it's the lowest I can rate them. This will be my first and last time I work with this company. read more

My order has been waiting in Hayward since April 8th, it is now April 14th. I was promised my order by today and it is now 5pm and tracking has changed, saying it is now delivering tomorrow. I have a customer waiting on this order. I am furious. To make matters worse I called customer service in Hayward, CA to say I will wait until midnight if I have to, I need this order. I first had to wait 18 minutes to get someone on the line, then said I would wait for them to contact the driver to ensure he or she is coming tonight still. After 5 minutes, I was disconnected. I called back and waited another 16 minutes to which I got a voice mail at 5pm saying "Leave a message". Now it is AFTER HOURS and instead if finishing up with calls that are on hold, they just shove people over to voicemail. East coast XGS customer service is great. Hayward branch needs to get it together. Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional. I can't say enough how bad of a service they give. read more

I placed an order through Home Depot and had no idea this would be the trucking company making the delivery. So much conflicting information from their team members. Initially I was told I didn't have to be home for the delivery and was later told I'd have to be home for the curbside delivery since they don't deliver to the door. When my order got to them no one contacted me I had to trace them through a Home Depot associate and this company claimed they didn't have my phone number yet I know it was provided with the order I made. It's almost a month and I still have not had my order delivered even to the local Home Depot store yet. Poor customer service, no remorse and unreliable service. No one should have to wait almost a month to get their item delivered. If there was a way to chose the third party delivery company this would not be the one you'd want to deal with. read more

Our business is 2:33 minutes away there hayward location and the 2 people I spoke with says I can pick up my shipment at there dock but there only open till 3:30 pm.. I thought ok great but when they tell me they won't unload that truck until the noon hrs I ask him what noon hrs are and they say 12-5.. I ask you close at 3:30? I had never heard of this company until now and I wish I still didn't know who they were. I will never ever do business with any company that uses them. Getting my carpet has been a nightmare. I have received multiple stories about the status, including the truck broke down. Is there only 1 truck? Then I was told they weren't even sure it had made it to the city. I had the pleasure of speaking to Valerie Achord today. She was not only rude but she also gave me the lamest excuses as to why my shipment didn't arrive on time. First, the holidays delayed everything and freight didn't move as expected? Okay, so you're telling me as a freight company you don't plan around the holidays? They've only been there for thousands of years. Second, she said an ETA is only an estimated time of arrival.... interesting because it seems it's only and "ETA" when it's convenient. I checked on this order multiple times through the website and over the phone and I received the same ETA every time.
