The restaurant environment is clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is pleasant. As someone from Sichuan, I found the flavors to be quite authentic. The beef tripe (qian ceng du) was reasonably priced with a generous portion, and the spicy broth was excellent -- flavorful and well-balanced. Service was also attentive and friendly throughout the meal. However, there was a small but concerning incident toward the end of our meal. While eating, I suddenly felt a sharp pain on the roof of my mouth. I then realized that the chopsticks had cracked in the middle, creating a sharp splinter that caused a minor injury and bleeding. This was quite unexpected, as I have never experienced anything like this before. The manager responded promptly, provided ice water, and asked if I needed medical assistance or an ambulance, which I appreciated. A discount was also offered. Since the injury was not serious, I chose not to escalate the situation further. Overall, I still think this is a good restaurant in terms of food and service, and I would consider coming back.
