Made an appointment to pick up WIFI router to setup at my daughter's apartment she has near her college. When we got to her apartment we realize after looking up alot of things to see why it wasn't working-we found that they hadn't included a co-axial cord which is necessary to set it up. Very disappointed that 5 days after setting up account we pick up the equipment and it's missing something that they should've double checked was included. They need to pay attention because now we need to either go back to get one or find one we can use. Do better. read more

Buyer beware with Xfinity phone service. I cancelled my service on June 7th, 2025, and went with a different provider. We called them on a group phone call and received a cancellation code on June 7th, 2025. They told me the service was cancelled. Fast forward to today (8-23-2025). I receive an email from Xfinity and here is what they said "Your Xfinity Mobile service was disconnected on August 23 due to non-payment. If any of your devices were enrolled in Xfinity Mobile Care, your coverage has been canceled." They also sent my account to a collection agency. This is bad business practice, and I will be sending a letter to the Attorney general office in New Hampshire. This will not be tolerated, and I am just getting started. They continuously billed my account since June 7th, and I disputed the charge with my credit card company. read more

Apparently, you can't order phones online and have them shipped to your new home if you still have a driver's license from your present state. OH but does anyone know this, NO. I tried approximately 30 times to upload my ID for security reasons, but it wouldn't upload. Did they know why, NO! It was because my license is here in NH and my new home, where my new account is, is in VA. Their AI Security can't handle that. The store cancelled my order for me and placed a new order, but didn't have inventory so it was the same security issue. When I asked them to cancel this new order they told me they couldn't cancel the order that it was considered shipped as soon as it was entered, EXCUSE me, you just cancelled the last order. OH and don't try to call an individual store directly to see if they have inventory because you can't get a local tel# , Xfinity uses the same tel# for all of there stores, no direct lines. You have to go thru the automated system that WON'T connect you to a live out of the country person until you choose "I WANT TO BUY SOMETHING" Oh they answer really fast then. read more

I signed up with them for internet and two cell phones full coverage for a guarantee of 125.00 for two years, well I just got off the phone with them and I ended up having to give Xfinity 245.56 to have my internet and phones reactivated, worst customer service ever read more

I don't think anyone at that location knows what's going on. Almost like they all just started the week before. I asked a simple question about my main TV box and they were unable to tell me what it was. CURRENTLY THE DOVER LOCATION IS THE WRONG PLACE TO VISIT IF YOU WANT TO EXCHANGE YOUR PHONE OR BECOME A NEW MOBILE USER. CALL THE 800 NUMBER. THE RESULT IS FASTER AND EASIER. They mean well and they are friendly. However no one seems to know what they are doing just yet. My first visit the girl just told me "I cant help you" and gave up while I was trying to purchase a new mobile plan for my entire family. She was visible flustered and just gave up. After going home and going online it took me a few minutes to realize it is only because one phone (in a specific color) was on back order. I completed the transaction myself with no issues. The second time I went they had issues swapping within the time allowed for a "different phone choice" and told me there would be a re-stocking of fee of up to $35. That is fine. Not only were we there almost 4 hours but they didn't tell me during this because they places it wrong in the computer as a return instead of an exchange they were charging me more money...because they have issues navigating these changes online. Again they are friendly and helpful people. But the current staff is not up to the task of anything other then simple billing transactions and returns and more straight forward purchases. read more

On December 26th 2019 I went into their store to get my equipment and everyone was very kind. Until I looked inside my bag and noticed the modem was a base modem and not the x1 I signed up to receive. A women there told me she would get the modem I was promised within the next 3 days and to call her and ask for her by name. Well I did about 20 times left voicemails and never got a call back. I contacted a agent through Xfinity app, and he got me my modem, not only that he got me the latest modem, the xb7 he apologized for what the local store did. Now August 18th 2020 i have my modem. Worst cell phone experience. 3 trips to this store and a long call with a customer service rep and my issue is still not resolved! Manager Nick, just says, "Sorry that's just how our process works." If it was possible to go lower than one star I would do it . This is the worst run Cable business I have ever been in my life . I had an apartment that I was splitting with a roommate we got cable internet or I should say he got it in his name we had it with no problems for a year and a half . He decided on short notice because of illness in the family out of state to move suddenly . So I went down to the Xfinity store told them what happened told him I wanted to change service into my name told them that I wanted to change the service into my name . I paid a small deposit at that time because I have terrible credit I then went home where bear in mind I had service internet and cable when I left . When I got home it was out I went back to the store and they told me to call the 1-800-xfinity number . To make a long story short it took me 2 days and over 8 hours on the phone to get my service restored then all of a sudden I started getting all kinds of packages from Xfinity at my house . Again I kept the service just as it was all the equipment everything but they sent me all new equipment two sets of it I called the guy up at the store he told me to refuse the equipment which I did a week later my service was cut off because of non-payment went back to the store they cut me off because my previous roommate always had an outstanding bill with them I'd never saw the bill because I just paid him directly half of whatever the bill was but he had an outstanding balance which caused extra fee every month anyway none of that matters but they shut me off for his bill another day and a half on the telephone to get it restored one week later my cable was shut off again because of unreturned equipment . Of course I refused all the equipment they sent me because I used all the equipment I already had . Anyways that was two weeks ago and I still don't have service I would never go to this company for service again and believe me I'm doing everything in the world I can to find another provider read more
