Stopped in to drop off my non-working box. I was immediately helped by Abel and another man sitting with him. I was helped as soon as I walked in. I repeat: as soon as I walked in. Those who have ever dealt with Comcast know this is unheard of. They answered my questions about moving quickly and were helpful, and the other guy gave me his card with his number and told him to contact him before moving so he could help me set everything up. I was certain I was in some kind of weird dream where a Comcast experience could not only be fast, but also efficient and friendly. But, it was real! Terrible customer service...short staffed.... long waits! Spoke to leua tofaeono and when I mentioned I had been waiting an half hour to return equipment in a box that I never ordered that had never been opened due to that fact it was sitting in my apartment managers office for few months and I'm so conveniently being charged for it she smartly shortly and abruptly replied Ive only have been waiting 20 mins ( as if that isn't long. when I checked in only one person was ahead of me and is if my time isn't valuable or the fact that I'm being inconvenienced by their error) then suggested I could go their federal way store. (Why would I do that when I live in auburn) When I asked her for her name she facetiously spelt it out for me and even offered a card!!!! All I could think is that this is a joke...right?! I would also like to add she never once made eye contact with me and even got on her cell phone after our discussion. Completely disrespectful. She offered an "apology" after I pointed out how rude she had been, yet still not eye contact...pretty certain that wasn't a sincere a apology and was too little too late. 3 Different staff members kept coming in and out of the back up to the check in and at one point leaving it unattended, as the wait list grew nobody else was getting serviced. read more

I get frustrated every time I have to deal with Comcast. * They send me "updated" cable boxes and tell me I have to switch when my old one is fine, then my next bill is higher. When I call they tell me it's because i have the upgraded HD box which I didn't ask for. * Every few months I have to call and find out why my rates went up again. Each time there is a different reason. * When I do call I have to listen to advertisement, my balance and other messages before I can finally talk to someone I don't know if it's intentional or incompetence but it's extremely frustrating. My hunch is the latter since I don't think it's possible to intentionally create such a horrible experience. Horrible service! The wait wasn't that long but the employees were dumb. I have a 4 year old that can explain and work the equipment better than them. It was super noisy and very unprofessional. They kept repeating themselves over and over.... who were they trying to convince? Me or them? I am starting to think I made a big mistake getting rid of Direct TV. I was greeted promptly as I entered the store and escorted back to the service area to turn in a defunct cable box. The service consultant was professional, courteous and helpful. He gave me a tutorial on using my new remote control device. All in all, a quick and easy trip. This was at mid-day on a weekday. Perhaps weekends are more crowded based on some of the nasty reviews I've seen. I do agree the service is over-priced and their off-shore telephone customer service reps are quite terrible. read more

This store and its employees don't care about their customers at all. All they do is lie lie and lie! Been trying to cancel my services for a month now and they still didn't cancel! They keep telling me it's a computer error, we have to talk to corporate etc, etc, but the bill keeps growing and growing now finally today I spoke with a Comcast representative on the phone and they told me that my services haven't even been canceled yet and that they don't have logs of my visits to the xfinity store to cancel my services and my bill is 470$!!!!???? We switched to a new tv and internet provider a month ago and returned all of our cable equipment and now they are telling me they don't have logs of the returned cable equipment and that they just received a cancelation order yesterday our last visit to the Comcast store and their only logged visits from us to the Comcast store even tho we been going there for the past month just to try and cancel our services! This is why Comcast has the worst customer service rating in the nation!!! read more

Stay away from Comcast / Xfinity, they practice unethical business behaviors and are not interested in treating people equitably. Three expectations you should have if engaging in business transactions with Comcast / Xfinity, 1) They will attempt to up-sell you into a package you don't need and will not use. 2) They will not disclose the franchise fees, equipment charges, and other "hidden costs" that will drive your monthly bill up no less than $30 / month in addition to whatever package they sell you on. 3) They do not empower their employees to effect any change to your account short of upgrading you to the next biggest package. Two footnotes: 1) You cannot downgrade service, so do not let them up-sell you into something that you might not need or want $$$ 2) If you terminate service, Xfinity will promptly disconnect your service, but will continue to charge you for service you no longer have. read more

The store gets busy but is helpful overall. I see all these reviews about how crooked Comcast is and how they are liars and raise the prices. Well guess what?! If you have to hunt for a deal perhaps you should go to the library and use the internet and read a book to pass the time. I pay 210 a month. I have everything I need and yeah every year it goes up a few bucks but so does my groceries. Cable is a luxury not a necessity. I could cut my bill in half just getting rid of it but I don't want to. I've had direct tv and dish and they all give you deals for the first year or two and then go to full rate. That's corporate business for ya. Everytime I visit the store they give me my options, tell me what they have and then I make an adult decision if it works. If it doesn't I make decisions on what I can live with plain and simple. A yelp review isn't meant to complain about the business as a whole or pricing.... it's to inform about that particular location so people can decide if they would rather go to one location over the other. Seriously?!?! An HOUR WAIT to DROP OFF a piece of equipment (modem)??? I didn't want to upgrade/exchange, just return their modem because I bought one (instead of paying their outrageous $7 a month rental fee). The "receptionist" said I could drop it off with her without waiting the hour, but I wouldn't get any type of receipt so there wouldn't be any proof that I returned the equipment... And that the rental fee might not get removed for up to two weeks, maybe longer (if they even "recorded" it being received). "Yes, please let me drop off your equipment without getting a receipt so you can screw me and say you never received it..." They really should have a "drop off equipment" line to expedite the process for people who have other obligations other than waiting hours in line for 3 minutes of service. read more

I accompanied someone to this store to make sure that they got the help they needed as senior citizens. I ended up becoming a customer. I have to say, I was nicely surprised by the excellent customer care, especially by Mike the manager of the store. He addressed our concerns and was very clear and professional. He was really nice, so I'd say that Xfinity/Comcast has an employee that deserves kudos in Mike the manager. After the people who I accompanied had their needs addressed, Mike did such a great job that I wanted to know more, and then a really nice sales person/customer service associate (not sure what they're called) named Mike or Michael (a different Mike not to be confused with the manager) helped me and now I'm a customer. So then the day of service came, when someone came to hook up my house to Comcast/Xfinity. My house had NEVER been hooked up before. The techinician was superb, a very professional technician for sure. OK so... Then the TV picture came... We only have the basic package. Compared with Direct TV, I have to say, Direct TV is much more impressive in their guide screen and picture quality. One issue may be the distance involved to the TV box, but it needed to go where it needed to go. I really don't watch the Comcast/Xfinity TV, it just isn't worth it. The internet is excellent. OK NEXT the bill came... Was it what they said it would be? YES!! From installation to the package for the internet and TV, it is what they said it would be. GOOD JOB XFINITY COMCAST except your TV guide isn't up to par (Direct TV's is way better) and your picture quality basically looks like it belongs on a hospital TV. My DVD's look excellent and what I watch through the computer looks excellent compared with your TV quality; looks like it's from the 1990's or 1980's. KUDOS TO MIKE the Manager of the Xfinity/Comcast store. You've got a great manager there. You may want to promote him to train other managers and to train others entering management on how to be a great manager. read more

never been to the new store but the company is lousy they have very crappy customer service. they are over priced their bundles are not cheap nor will i ever bundle anything with their internet again. they have unexpected outages often. they do not credit the customers accounts in the outage areas. the one positive thing i will say is that they usually get their service back up and running fairly quickly if the problem is small. if the problem is bigger it takes them longer. i will never recommend them to anyone. they don't care about their customers they only care about the money they earn. read more
