Brought in a box that I needed to remove from my account. I was told that "Per new policy, they cannot take back equipment without us calling Xfinity and having the item removed from my account." So back home I go with unneeded box in hand to call. I reached out to Xfinity and was told "NO SUCH POLICY EXCIST". I called the Attorney General's Office and told them what had happened they said, " It is unlawful for a company to refuse equipment back in this manner, would I like to file a consumer complaint?" So, I did as it was explained this constitutes consumer fraud, to gain additional charges by service dates. I have been to this store numerous times and it is really difficult to deal with them. A new Comcast Service Center is now open by the Outlet Collection (formerly SuperMall). Recently, I reduced my service plan and needed to return a TV box, exchange an HD box, and inquire about a credit I was supposed to receive. The store itself is quite inviting. Recently they just added a numbering system and while you wait, there is actually a TV and comfortable seats to make waiting less painful. The customer service is great compared to my prior experiences with their other locations. I have been here 3 times and each time the wait never exceeded 12 minutes. So in sum: quick service, comfy waiting area, free wireless internet, and helpful staff makes this location a welcome Xfinity place to visit. read more

I switched to internet only with Xfinity and I was blocked from my purchased movies and shows over the years. I purchased her iPhone X along with mine two years ago when we switched from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile to save a few bucks. Background: I visited a nearby location in Tukwila two weeks ago when I was considering upgrading my iPhone X. The model I was looking for was not in stock. We were getting ready to go on a trip and I was hoping to get the phone in time so I asked about the process if I were to purchase the phone from Apple. I was told by the sales rep I could just remove the SIM card from my old phone and insert it into the new one. That sounded so simple and I was impressed. I followed his direction and swapped the SIM card. Everything appeared to work fine. My wife got phone envy and wanted her own iPhone 11 so she called the store earlier this week to confirm her desired model was in stock. The rep said they had plenty. Back to today - my wife asked our rep if they had the model she called about earlier. She had a snide comment along the lines of "probably not if it was earlier this week", but they did indeed have the model. I then asked what the trade in value of her old iPhone X was. She made another snide comment that it's "not much". Apple paid me $400 for my phone when I purchased my new iPhone 2 weeks ago and took that total off my bill (immediate payback). Xfinity would only give $299 for my wife's identical phone and that was by gift card three months later. Epic fail and a firm "no". I'll sell her Phone on eBay. The rep then got out a new SIM card for my wife's new phone. I asked about this because I was told earlier a new SIM card was not necessary. She again made a snide comment to the effect of "I know more about this than you because I've been doing this for 8 years" (of course she knew nothing about my background and I didn't mention it, but I sold my first cell phone as a radio shack manager in 1993, possibly before she was born). I was a bit concerned about what she was saying regarding the SIM card because if she was right and it causes the problems she suggested that could be an issue for my phone. Long story short - it is a big issue and the issue is specific to xfinity mobile. I learned this after talking to the store's assistant manager and central telephone support. Based on the Representative's attitude, the misinformation given by at least three different Xfinity mobile employees, and the lack of modern technology used by Xfinity Mobile's back end systems I have decided Xfinity Mobile is not right for me. It was only valid if you showed up in person. I was told that no such deal existed, even though I found it on their site. I am taking my money elsewhere (even if it costs a bit more). I showed up on time for my appointment only to be told that I needed to go home and call this in. Comcast is basically run by a bunch of crooks. The internet speeds are fine and the cable is nice, but the actual customer service sucks. And so does the cost. Workers are constantly trying to trick you into paying more and will add on things to your bill that you didn't even know about. WOW what a bad way to spend the afternoon. First of all they said 15 minutes - only 5 ahead of us so that sounded reasonable. Boy were they off - it ended up 45 minutes with 16 people in line and the service people working like snails. I asked the person checking in why so long and he said -45 minutes is normal this time of day - huh perhaps that is what they should have said since it is "normal". NOTE - only 3 service representatives. Next they don't have chairs - you get to sit on a stool with no back and if you want - you can watch commercials for their product on the tablets in front of you. Finally we get helped and the initial help took all of 4 minutes - you would think they would have a fast lane for people who just are exchanging items. Now the "kicker" - they tell us our main unit we have is no longer supported and we need to update. Now we just went in last January and updated. Supposed to be top of the line - and it lasted a whole 6 months - wonder what bottom of the line is. The unit is supposed to be a recorder but when you change you lose all the shows you recorded - which we did. Guess what - we get to do it all over and lose all the shows again. I had taped 85 eposodes of a series to watch over the last 4 months and now it will be all gone. Great system. Dish is starting to look real good. I asked if we could have a free move or two "On Demand" - nope not something they do. Remember when they use to have service representatives that cared. read more

Ok where should i start ? A few months ago I ordered comcast everything ... They came out installed the tv first because they don't have one person that can do it all. Ok so after 6 hours of the installer not being able to get me a guide or dvr. I was told there was a issue in our area and could be months before its fixed. I bit my tongue and waited for him to leave and called in . They knew of no such outage. After many times trying to fix they sent a senior tech out who knew the issue they had not closed the invoice because the alarm and cameras had not been installed. So after 2 hours on the phone with them the tech was telling me they used to be able to get right to who he needed to fix this but they have changed their policies he kept asking for a certain department and finally they transfer him and in 20 mins that was fixed. Ok so they come to install my alarm system when they get there they don't have a low voltage guy. Hmmm ok that's why we had to wait weeks but ok. They wait and get the low voltage guy there he says I cant run the wires because you have vinyl siding hmmmm how many houses have that , so I climb a ladder and drill a hole. They install everything and it kinda works sometimes . So after calling getting the run around again . They finally send someone out to look he climbs his ladder and see they didn't remove the film off the cameras. So then he goes to under my sons bed and finds they did not remove the plastic off the plug ins for the 3 cameras which are the wifi for them and they were not only not getting enough signal but the tech had me touch them they were hot enough you could not hold them he says this is a fire hazard and could have caught fire . Oh did i mention that this was under my child's bed ? ok so lets back up a bit when this all started they said you can save 10.00 a month by auto pay , Shoot ok why not . DO NOT GIVE THEM ACCESS TO YOUR ACOOUNT ! So the second moth in they bill me the 600.00 for the equipment ! That was supposed to be billed over 2 years . Not only once but double billed it . two weeks ago they admitted to it . So 1200.00 over charge . Oh but they can not refund it but they can give me a credit . I have been calling them for two weeks they will do nothing I have a picture of the 1200 credit if u wanna see it. So when my kids are crying themselves to sleep hungry its ok watch a show. Here watch a commercial of burger king nice juicy hamburger but its ok you have cable . I have called asked for a manager finally got transferred to escalations manager 10 days ago she called me got the info and said she would call me back . A few days later she called and said she was still working on it and would call me back . Now its been a week and nothing . I called back today and asked for a manager and sat on hold for over 2 hours practically begging to talk to a manager. Being told call my bank would be the only way to get my money back. People here are great. Able to get my bill reduced and still fit my needs. Still hate the monopoly Comcast has on cable and I fully distrust the company.
