Note: This review is *not* about Comcast's business model, charges & fees, or other corporate level considerations that have drawn fire and resulted in one star reviews from other reviewers. I guess I'll be the exception and give this Xfinity store a good review for the service received when we stopped in to add a couple services to a basic account. We dropped in sort of mid-day on a weekday and had a minimal 10'ish minute wait before being called on. Very special kudos to Dave, the customer service rep who took care of us. His service is what this review is really about. He was well informed on the Comcast products, including a rather obscure one we were adding, & fluid in navigating their order system. He was genuinely friendly, engaging, and fun. His personality kept the process of taking care of business light and easy. His service was solid 5 star level!! He was super comprehensive & clear informing us what our added service should look like at home. He gave us the needed boxes & cables to install, since we wanted to avoid a technician visit fee. The install was pretty simple & straightforward for an old I.T. guy like me. One demerit for Xfinity back end glitch, that's not this store's fault, that fubarred the service after equipment hookup. Eva at Xfinity customer service call center was patient & proficient at eventually clearing the issue remotely in about half an hour on the phone. She too was friendly, courteous, and proficient. read more

The store is fine. Comcast as a business is very broken. I echo all of the negative reviews below. I just switched to TMobile internet and I'm now paying way less for the same service. Another option is Mint Mobile which now offers internet service. read more

Xfinity has owed me a refund for months now still have not received it! All they do is give me the run around. You cannot talk to a human, everything is computer generated voice and it cannot answer any questions it has not been programmed to respond to. I needed to activate my new modem and it wanted to send me a text Smith a link, I have a flip phone . It could not send me the link and could not have done anything with the link if my phone could have received it. The business card that the xfinity office in Olympia has no numbers where you can talk to a human to explain this problem and get it resolved. when you are forced to go there to exchange a non working tv box and see a line 20 people deep outside of the entry door, and for 20 minutes the line has not moved,.. thats inexcusable,.. and its on a day and time of day or day of the month that would be considered not a busy time, it is ! this has happened now 2 times this past week. you spend hours and cant get past the freak ai chat bot onine,.. or not be on hold for an over an hour + to get a damn person on the phone that is who can actually be of help of what you need, which usually they cant and you get put on hold again and transferred, only to have the call dropped! the prices every year spike, you get less serives or perks that were included in your bundled plan,.. comcast/ xfinity sucks with everything. greedy corp sob's and customer service that is horrible! read more

Customer Service is the worst. I have literally wasted ten plus hours trying to cancel service. I don't have the service but they keep charging me and sending past due bills. Takes forever to figure out how to talk to someone and they never do what they say they will. They promise everything is resolved and don't worry or they guarantee now fixed and it isn't. I still don't know when this nightmare will be over. and to top it off, I still have some services with them so you would think they would show some courtesy. read more

Cancelled my TV service before my before my billing cycle. I was emailed and told on the phone that I would be billed for internet only for the next billing cycle. On the next billing they charged me for TV and internet. I called and was told because they had sent my bill out 3 days before I cancelled (which was 6 days before the next cycle) that I had to pay for TV even though I didn't have it. The cut it off TV and still charged me for it. They won't reverse the charges because it is there policy to charge you for something you are not getting. read more

I agree with everything said about service with xfinity. After several frustrating experiences with their terrible AI system I made an appointment to see someone at the Martin Way store to get help with my internet problem. 10 minutes later the salt problem was solved and I was on my way. We were customers of Xfinity for about 10 year with no late payments. Ensure you get everything from them in writing, or they will rip you off. We set up Vacation mode for 6 months, which we had done before with no issues. This time, they started charging us full price after 2 months. They said, "Well, we sent you an email saying you can only have vacation mode for 2 months, not six." By the time I got the statement, they had already taken the money from my account and would not honor the deal we had originally made by phone. They ended up charging me over $600. when my bill should have been around $140.00. Worst company ever!! read more

We have used this provider for many years and have had little issues beyond the normal outages and high price. However upon changing our address we attempted to move our service to it. We where informed by an employee of comcast that there was no service available in our area. That being the case(or so we where told) our service was terminated. Come to find out we do have cable on our street. We contacted the company and where told now we have to pay three times as much as our previous plan. In effect we where lied to for the sole purpose of forcing us out of our much better plan we have had for years. The manager told us there was nothing he could do due to the fact that that plan no longer exists. Is this a standard practice for this provider?. . My care giver return the storm ready to the store on Harrison in Olympia wa and they are stating they never received it after my caregiver handed it to one of the people at the counter and they scanned the storm ready box on July 10 of 2025. They are trying to charge me for it. They need to play back the that it was returned. Beware of Xfinity. Too pricey. Hard to get a hold of a human over the phone. When you do get a hold of the human, they are in India.

I was on the phone for 22 minutes with someone from India before they let me speak with an American. They talked over me constantly put me on hold put my mute did all kinds of abusive things to try to get me to hang up. I get called 5 to 10 times a day from people from India I don't want to speak with people from India because they have a reputation. Xfinity is the best example of how NOT to run a business. It is nearly impossible to get timely help through them. Good luck trying to connect via phone. It's a joke and huge waste of time. The line is usually busy. They have no trouble increasing their fees, but try and talk to a real human, terrible service. I'm fed up with this company's horrible customer service and unreliability. Equipment is glitchy and it takes hours of being on the phone with customer service agents to get any help. Technician came out to fix our faulty Xfinity box who was nice enough. Replaced it with a box that doesn't work, faulty. I've been waiting in the Xfinity store for more than 30 min now to get a new one after 6 days of phone conversations and no TV. Company should do a Re haul or go out of business. read more

I've had nothing but trouble with Comcast/Xfinity. I've had technicians out several times. The technicians fix whatever is happening then there's a "new upgrade" and stuff is broken again. I've had to switch out equipment several times. They launched both Peacock and HBOmax before the apps were functioning properly. The pricing is insane. When I started 3 years ago the teaser rate was $60 for basic cable. It's now $150+for the same service (or lack there of). The website is frustrating. The people who do phone support do their best but it's so slow and frustrating. I wouldn't recommend Comcast to an enemy, never to friends or family. Can't have a dish where I live. I HATE, HATE, HATE Comcast! I called them yesterday to add WiFi to a home where I work. The man I walked with over the phone said that all I needed to hook up the modem was a coaxial outlet. I explained my situation to him and he assured me that I would be able to put it in the staff office. I arranged to pick up the modem today. When I got there, the customer service rep said that I have a modem and DVR ready to be picked up. I explained to her that I only want a modem and I don't need nor can I use a DVR. I explained to her, without going into too much detail why I did not want a DVR. She had me take a seat to talk to yet another rep about it. After half an hour, they called my name. Again, I explained my situation. He told me that the DVR was included with the new plan I'm getting. New plan?? I only wanted a modem for WiFi!! I felt so disrespected as if Comcast was not at all sensitive to my specific and serious needs. What upsets me the most is that someone is probably making a commission off of my grief. I am giving one star because 0 is not an option. All of a sudden my data usage has doubled from 600 mbs to over 1200. There are no new devices connected and only 2 people in the home. I have tried to speak with someone at Xfinity, 5 different people actually. Just horrible customer service, it's impossible to communicate, English is barely understandable, they are parting in the background. Just one noise with no meaningful person on the other side.
